Biblical declarations every Christian needs to improve their life

The Bible says in the book of Proverbs [18:21], “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Elsewhere we read:

“By your words, you will be acquitted, and by your words, you will be condemned." ~ Matthew [12:37]

“From the fruit of their lips, people enjoy good things.” ~ Proverbs 13:2

The words we speak have power – tremendous God-given power! We were made in the image of God and when He speaks, it happens.

In a similar fashion, the words that proceed out of our mouths can come to pass. In the book of James, we are told that “With the tongue, we praise our Lord and Father, and with it, we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing.”

For this reason, we must master our tongue not only to avoid calamity but in order to bring blessings to our own lives and to the lives of others. The best way to bring blessings to our lives is to take the words of God and to let them flow from our own lips. By doing this, we return God’s own Word to Him, and He said, “My word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” ~ Isaiah [55:11]
