Grab that laundry, pop in those earbuds and let's go. I remember sitting on my couch during my pregnancy feeling that deep ache of what is my purpose?

I wanted to live the purpose that God had for my life, but I didn't know where to start. I searched for answers but nothing gave me the clarity or the direction that I was hoping for.

I felt stuck, overwhelmed and a little afraid of getting it wrong. But the moment that I invited God into my search, everything changed. He opened doors I didn't even know were there.

He revealed clues, he provided guidance, and little by little he brought peace and clarity into places that once felt confusing and heavy. If you're sitting in that same place wanting your purpose, you're craving clarity but you're unsure how to actually begin.

You're not alone and you don't have to figure this out the hard way like I did. Come join me for a discernment coaching session.

Let's begin uncovering the God given purpose that he's placed inside you through a simple, peaceful, prayer centered process guided by the Holy Spirit.

Let's take this step together. When I was trying to figure out my purpose, I remember just sitting there thinking, okay, so how do I actually do this?

I would spend hours searching, reading, clicking from one thing to the next, only to walk away feeling more frustra frustrated because I didn't have a lot of extra time to begin with. And it felt like I was wasting what little time I had. And what really got me was this.

There was no clear, organized way to actually walk this out, and especially nothing that felt truly aligned with the Catholic faith. A lot of what I found out there was just feeling unsettled.

Now, later, looking back, I realized that it was the Holy Spirit gently guiding me, nudging me, letting me feel that lack of peace so that I wouldn't settle for something that wasn't from God.

That's exactly why we're talking about this today, because I don't want you stuck in that same cycle, searching, wondering, and feeling like you're not getting anywhere. I want to help you begin in a way that's simple, grounded, and actually moves you forward. All right, so let's start here.

God created you beautifully and uniquely. And when you really sit with that, that's incredible.

That same God who created the world took the time to design you with specific strengths, tendencies, and the ways of thinking. Now, I see this a lot. Many people think that their purpose is for them, like, what will make me happy, what will fulfill me?

And yes, when you are living your purpose, you will experience fulfillment and peace and that sense of making an impact. But here's the truth. Most people are not aware of that. Your purpose is meant to serve others. Let me say that again.

Your purpose is meant to serve others, to love others, and to build up God's kingdom. You're glorifying God. So instead of asking, what do I want to do with my life? We really begin asking God, what mission was I created for?

How did you design me to love and serve others? Now, this is where we can really start making this practical.

Because if God created you for a mission, he didn't just leave you to figure it out on your own. Right? He actually equipped you for it. One of the first ways he did that is through your natural talents.

Your talents, they're different than mine, and mine are different than yours. And here's the key. Talents are just potential until you actually use them.

I remember hearing that from Father Mike Schmidt's homily saying that they remain potential until we put them into action. And I was like, wow, that's powerful. That really stood out for me because it's so true.

You can have everything you need and still not be living your purpose. It's like having a book on how to organize your home. It's sitting there right next to your bed, right?

The potential is there, but if you never open it, you never apply it, nothing changes. Or even like being given money for something, it doesn't actually impact your life until you use it. So the same is true with your God given talents.

They were never meant to stay hidden. They were meant to be lived, to be used. So when I really started to understand this, it brought me back to something that Jesus teaches in scripture.

In Matthew 25, verses 14 through 30, he teaches on talents. A master gives three servants, different talents. Five, two and one. The first two use what they were given and it multiplies.

But the third, he hides it, he buries it. And when the master returns, he's not pleased with the servant that buried it.

It was not that he had less, it's that he didn't use what he had, what he had been given. So this is the question for us. Are we using what God has given us or are we holding back because God has entrusted you with something?

Are you ready to start using what God entrusted you with to serve others and to live out your purpose? So let's make this really simple. Where do you actually begin?

So you can start looking at your natural talents, the things that already exist within you. Now if you're driving now, just think about this. I don't want you getting a reg or anything.

And if you're at home, you can pause and grab your journal and ask yourself, what do people come to me for? What do people ask me for help with? What kind of advice do I naturally give and even think back? Yes, we're going to go back.

What came easily to me growing up, in school, in everyday life, these are just clues, intentional ways that God has designed you. As you're starting to reflect on this and you're thinking, I want help with this, I don't want to stay stuck. I'm ready to move forward.

I want to invite you to book a discernment coaching session.

I'll walk you through through a simple step by step framework to begin uncovering your God given purpose with clarity, direction and the next steps that actually feel doable. Go to michellebrannam.com/coaching and let's do this together.

Alright, here's what I want you to anchor to from today, God created you intentionally and uniquely. You were designed for a purpose. Your talents are potential until you actually use them.

They don't become part of your purpose until they are put into action. Don't bury what God has given you. Start noticing your talents because that's where you start finding your purpose. Let us pray.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. God, you wonderfully made us and designed each of us uniquely.

Help us to begin uncovering the natural talents that you have placed within us so that we may use them to glorify you and serve others. Guide us on this journey of discovering our purpose and show us the next step that you are calling us to take. We trust you, Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Now let's take this from head to heart. Knowing this is powerful, but that real change happens when you take action, even one small step.

So today I want you to create a little space. Grab your journal or even a piece of paper will work and write down your natural talents. What are you naturally good at? And then come share insight.

The Facebook Community Finding youg Purpose, Discernment and Strategy for Catholic Moms Share one or two of your natural talents and then take a look at what others are posting too. You might even see something in someone else's list and think, wait, I do that too. I cannot wait to see what you'll come up with.

Remember, my beautiful sister in Christ, that God uniquely created you for a purpose. You were made to do great things. God is within you and you will not fail. I look forward to continuing this journey with you.

I'll meet you next Tuesday for another conversation. Until then, may God bless you and give you peace. I hope you enjoyed today's episode.

If so, take 30 seconds to share it with a friend who's feeling unsure about her purpose and wants simple, faithful steps to discern God's will. And if you learned something today, please leave a quick review on Apple Podcasts. It lights me up to know that this show is helping you.

Okay, time to tackle that laundry and unload that dishwasher. Gotta go. I'll see you next Tuesday for another conversation.
