HeatherV:

Hello, and welcome to this week's Choosing Happy podcast.

2

:

I'm Heather Masters, and

we're still in Woo space.

3

:

This week, we have a wonderful interview

with a good friend, Lorraine Stone,

4

:

who is a coach and teacher who'll help

you open up to your psychic abilities.

5

:

And she also teaches you how to

not just contact, but how to work

6

:

with your own spiritual team.

7

:

All this and more in this

week's Choosing Happy Podcast.

8

:

Hello and welcome to the

Choosing Happy podcast.

9

:

I'm your host Heather Masters and

today I have the greatest pleasure

10

:

of chatting with Lorraine Stone.

11

:

Now Lorraine is a coach and a

teacher who will help you open

12

:

up to your psychic abilities and

connect with your spiritual team.

13

:

Hello and welcome, Lorraine.

14

:

Oh, hi, Heather.

15

:

Thanks for having me.

16

:

Oh, you're welcome.

17

:

Can you begin by telling us a little

bit about yourself and your own journey

18

:

to opening up to your psychic abilities

and connecting with your spiritual team?

19

:

Um, well, it's been a long, long journey.

20

:

a lot of years of learning

my, um, psychic abilities and

21

:

getting in tune with my guides.

22

:

So it's been a process of learning

through, um, various courses,

23

:

various, I mean, using your own

intuition, connecting to yourself.

24

:

Um, I started with Reiki healer

and then Theta and then many

25

:

other courses along the way.

26

:

Um, but really it's about connecting to

the, the true you from what's within you.

27

:

Um, so your true source energy, your

true divine, um, universal God source

28

:

energy, whatever you want to talk

about it, whichever words work for you.

29

:

Um, but yeah, so it's been about,

I think, 20 to 30 years of, um,

30

:

journey and through my spiritual, uh,

having my spiritual growth really.

31

:

It never ends.

32

:

It's a quest that I've always been on.

33

:

Um, and eventually when you can ask at any

point to connect to your guardian angels,

34

:

spirit guides, and they will always

make their known, their presence known.

35

:

Even if at first you can't.

36

:

um, connect to them.

37

:

Uh, they'll always make sure they

find a way to let you feel it.

38

:

You know, the more you're open to it, the

more, the calmer you are, the more they

39

:

can show you that they're beside you.

40

:

Does that make sense?

41

:

Yeah, yeah.

42

:

So, like, how did you start your journey?

43

:

What was the trigger for you going into

this field, or opening to, you know?

44

:

I think it, I've always known

there's more than just, you know,

45

:

I always known that I'm a spiritual

being in a human existence.

46

:

Um, so I've always known that and I

always had, uh, a yearning to learn more.

47

:

The biggest trigger was when I was 25.

48

:

Um, my mom passed.

49

:

I dealt with my husband, had two

little kids, and I think I was

50

:

always trying to find my mom.

51

:

Really?

52

:

. I think, you know, you go on

a journey, you lose somebody.

53

:

You think, well, you

know, they're not gone.

54

:

They're not, they're somewhere.

55

:

The spirit doesn't die.

56

:

We don't die.

57

:

Our spiritual selves never die.

58

:

So I think I started searching and

thinking, you know, they're there

59

:

somewhere, just in a different veil, a

different space where we can't see them.

60

:

So I think that was the biggest

trigger, you know, starting out on my

61

:

journey with two little kids all by

myself and just having lost my mum.

62

:

It was like, okay, I need to, I

need to, investigate this further.

63

:

And then through numerous surgeries,

I became, um, I had back surgery,

64

:

um, and more muscular at the back.

65

:

So, and I had a reiki healing

and it's like a light bulb went

66

:

off in the center of my mind.

67

:

It was like I could see this beam

of light as she was doing this reiki

68

:

healing, which was another big trigger.

69

:

And she said, well, have you

still got this feeling that

70

:

something's wakened in you?

71

:

Come back in a year and I'll teach you.

72

:

So I did all my 3, and it was just like,

it was just like pulling me, you know.

73

:

And then I got invited to the, to, um,

introduction day and it was another

74

:

pull, gotta do it, gotta do it.

75

:

And then become a teacher,

gotta do it, gotta do it.

76

:

10 years of teaching and then it's

like, well, you know, you develop your

77

:

own things, you develop your own way of

working with your own divine connection.

78

:

So getting to meet your teams, your

guides, it's all the one thing,

79

:

some people you can identify with

each individual one or you can

80

:

connect to them as a whole, they'll

all show up wherever you need.

81

:

I've also done trans mentorship for a

year and it's all about the energy's

82

:

all inside of you and you can connect

to your guides around you and they will

83

:

show up how you need them to show up.

84

:

But it's all connected to the one

consciousness as we know, so I think

85

:

that's my biggest trigger and that was

sort of my basic journey, but there's

86

:

a few a lot more courses on the way and

You know having to always work alongside

87

:

my spiritual work but you never stop

growing and learning and becoming more

88

:

and Being in a deep connection with

your own guides and your own truth.

89

:

So last few years have been obviously very

And it does feel like there's a greater

90

:

pull for people to connect and to, as

you say, remember who they are and really

91

:

connect with that source within them.

92

:

Um, have you found there are more

people coming to you for help or

93

:

are you noticing anything different?

94

:

I feel like there is, there is definitely

more people It's definitely been a pull

95

:

towards, you know, what is this life

about or what are we doing here, you know.

96

:

Um, it's definitely a pull for people

to having the questions now, like,

97

:

well, there's more to life, you know.

98

:

Some people think we're human to humans,

our minds rule us and our bodies are

99

:

here and when they die, they die.

100

:

You know, there is more sense

of questioning, even my great

101

:

nieces and nephews and my

grandchildren are questioning me

102

:

saying, what about past lives?

103

:

What about, what about,

where was I before?

104

:

You know, you get children actually

come in, so I think there's a younger

105

:

generation that's got more thirst for

spiritual knowledge, even if it's not the

106

:

older generation, um, because we're not

our mind, we're not our body, the things.

107

:

We don't take anything with us,

but our soul and our experiences,

108

:

that's what we pass over with.

109

:

So I find there's a lot of younger

generations, you know, that are,

110

:

phone me up and say, Oh, Auntie

Lowell, that's what they call me.

111

:

Help me, my friend's got

negativity or an attachment or, um.

112

:

So I've found it's a lot in the younger

generation, but equally there's a lot of

113

:

mature people thinking that maybe there's

more to life because I think when you're

114

:

in the rat race of life you grow up,

you have your kids or you have a career,

115

:

whichever you choose, and you just get

wrapped up in the cycle of life, but then

116

:

there's sometimes you sit back and think.

117

:

You know, or trauma.

118

:

Sometimes it's mainly a trauma that brings

you to a point of, there's got to be more.

119

:

Why is this, or why is

this repeating pattern?

120

:

Why have I done this already?

121

:

And why do I keep churning

the same old stories out?

122

:

Why do I keep repeating

the same old patterns?

123

:

So I think that's when people are coming.

124

:

And that's what I'm noticing is

when, when you finally get to that

125

:

stage of either repeating patterns

or, you know, another trauma or,

126

:

It's like, okay, they do come.

127

:

So I think COVID brought a lot of, you

know, people at home a lot, weren't there?

128

:

That caused a lot of stress for people.

129

:

But it's when you step back

from the stress and you sort

130

:

of think, it's them all.

131

:

It's them all and just what we are.

132

:

Yeah.

133

:

It's interesting that

you mentioned trauma.

134

:

Um, It's just something that I found

through talking with people that rather

135

:

than, you know, we often think of trauma

as a really bad thing, but it does

136

:

seem to be a method for awakening in

one way or another, whether it's, you

137

:

know, Opening just to meaning in life

or your purpose in life or whether it's

138

:

the whole spiritual journey as well.

139

:

Trauma seems to be a real

big trigger for that.

140

:

Um, but do you agree?

141

:

Do you find that?

142

:

Oh, totally agree.

143

:

I think when spirit, you know, we

learn and you had this conversation the

144

:

other day, it's even dreamt about it.

145

:

It was like, I dreamt of this big

trauma I had and I was like, Oh no!

146

:

What's going to happen and it's

like you learn quicker from trauma.

147

:

It's like when I fought in my dream,

this is really a terrible experience that

148

:

I've just had because of my fault and my

trauma was something I created myself.

149

:

And if I look at the consequences of that,

but then I learned something from that

150

:

dream, you know, but that was a dream.

151

:

We don't all get traumas for our dreams.

152

:

But if you think about any life

experiences you've had, the

153

:

biggest change comes, the quickest

learning comes from trauma.

154

:

Because it smacks you in the

face and it is so devastating

155

:

or so hurtful or whatever.

156

:

that it makes you stand up and look.

157

:

You know, we, you know, we could ask

to have, and we could and we should

158

:

all ask, which I did after my dream

was, you know, can I start learning

159

:

through positive experiences please?

160

:

Um, but we do learn quicker and if spirit

are trying to get your attention within

161

:

your true self, your true spirit, the,

you know, the one who's manifested as

162

:

you into the human, if they're trying

to get your attention to get you back

163

:

on your spiritual path or connect

you back to your source energy, if

164

:

they can't do it, In the kindest way,

they're going to do it in a drastic way.

165

:

Because it's only drastic to us as a

human, it's not drastic to us as a spirit.

166

:

Because everything, if you think

about the scenario of everything is

167

:

happening for us, it's like, what is

it Why did our true self create that

168

:

scenario for us to learn through?

169

:

You know, and the only ability

we have to change any scenario

170

:

is to take responsibility for it.

171

:

So, yes, I think trauma

teaches us quicker.

172

:

And sometimes we just don't listen

to the kindly, kindly, look, I'm

173

:

spirit over here, come and say hello.

174

:

Or I'm spirit in here

and you never notice.

175

:

That spirit in your, in a, in

your heart center where spirit is?

176

:

Um, I think trauma does, you know,

when you look back at trauma,

177

:

you may have lost your job.

178

:

You may have lost your home, but

then where did you end up after that?

179

:

If you can reflect backwards at some

of your previous traumas, what, what

180

:

was the gift of that trauma at the end?

181

:

Yeah, it, it's like, um.

182

:

Lessons, like, like you said earlier

about patterns, if we keep repeating

183

:

the pattern at some point it's going to

be a trauma because we're not learning

184

:

whatever the pattern's trying to teach us.

185

:

Exactly.

186

:

Yeah.

187

:

And it's like, Oh, no,

I've done that already.

188

:

Do you ever do that?

189

:

You go, No, that one.

190

:

Oh, I've just done this.

191

:

Why am I doing it again?

192

:

What didn't I learn?

193

:

And it's like, Please tell me

what I didn't learn, you know?

194

:

So how do you, um, connect in

with your spiritual team, um, in,

195

:

in terms of your own experience?

196

:

How, how have you, how did you begin

working with your spiritual team?

197

:

And how do you, what's kind of

the process you go through with

198

:

your clients to teach that?

199

:

Um, well for me when I began doing

it I'd have a process of connecting

200

:

to the divine source and asking for

that connection and then asking spirit

201

:

guides to show up so I could sense them.

202

:

So I'd always ask for a calling card so if

I ask for a sense that they're with me now

203

:

they'll give me a warm or a touch on the

shoulder so you can get a sense of their,

204

:

but as I've developed now I can just go to

my guides, you know, walk down the street

205

:

with me, come Moment with me but more

the divine doesn't it's all connected.

206

:

It's the same thing So it's like

opening up the connection to them

207

:

and and when you do that even just by

setting the intention to have Opening

208

:

your heart and allowing the divine or

the true self to flow out, you have a

209

:

much better experience even shopping,

watching TV, doing your housework.

210

:

You know, you can bring that into

every, every moment without any um,

211

:

I'm sorry, without any um, issues at all.

212

:

And um, But when I'm doing

it with my clients, again,

213

:

I connect to my, um, guide.

214

:

I ask, obviously, I do a scan of

the person with permission only,

215

:

obviously, to see what blocks they

may have, and also to understand where

216

:

the client is from their perspective.

217

:

So, once I can understand the

client a bit more, um, then I can

218

:

bring in the guides and ask them

to get a sense for themselves.

219

:

So, I would ask the guides

to give a calling card, a

220

:

signal to the, to my client.

221

:

So they knew that they were connected

and I wouldn't, we'd keep going

222

:

until there was at least a connection

to the, the connection is always

223

:

there, but I would need my client

to feel it, if that makes sense.

224

:

Yeah.

225

:

So they're more aware of it.

226

:

Yes.

227

:

So I would connect to the divine.

228

:

I would ask their true self, their

spirit guides to come forward, um,

229

:

and to give that client a calling

card that they could recognize.

230

:

It's a light.

231

:

Feeling a warmth, maybe see

them in their third eye.

232

:

Maybe just, um, a touch on the

shoulder, just anything that

233

:

they could recognize with.

234

:

So when working with guys, um, is there

kind of a, a frustration with, with them?

235

:

spiritual team that sometimes

they can't get through?

236

:

Or are you, um, I mean, I know

they're always there, but is there

237

:

kind of rules around interaction

and how much they can do to, to

238

:

support you when you're not aware?

239

:

I think they're, I think the biggest

block is ourselves, where we don't ask.

240

:

So if you ask the angels or guides

or true self to help with any

241

:

situation, it's going to try and help.

242

:

So, or they are going to help.

243

:

Um, And I think the frustration

is us, not through them.

244

:

They will, they will be

there on hand to help.

245

:

They'll steer you in the right direction.

246

:

They will do everything they can

to get you to do the right, to

247

:

take the right course of action.

248

:

There's no frustration on the

guide's side in my experience.

249

:

My, my understanding is because you're

exactly where you're meant to be.

250

:

You're perfect in the way you are

right now, um, and if you want to get

251

:

somewhere or do something, they're

always supporting you for the highest

252

:

best of your learning and your growth.

253

:

Right.

254

:

So providing that highest perspective

is always there, you know, it's

255

:

only us that get frustrated.

256

:

Ah, why are you not helping me or I

can't see you or I can't feel you.

257

:

That's our frustration, not

the guide's frustration.

258

:

Right.

259

:

And the trick is to always

ask them to support.

260

:

Remembering you might think you know

the answer is the best thing for you,

261

:

but actually the actual answer might

not be what you expect because the

262

:

guides have a higher perspective.

263

:

Yeah.

264

:

Yeah.

265

:

Yeah.

266

:

That's something about

manifesting, isn't it?

267

:

It's about being as detailed as

possible, but then letting go of any

268

:

expectation because the universal source

might have something better for you.

269

:

Yes, don't, don't get caught on

the outcome because, um, yes, it

270

:

might be completely different.

271

:

I remember a scenario when I was buying

a house and everything was getting in

272

:

my way and I shouldn't have bought the

house but sheer determination and will to

273

:

buy the house only to realize on the day

that I signed the contract is it wasn't

274

:

the best move for me to have the house.

275

:

I thought I needed to end the

relationship with the person that

276

:

I, I'm like, oh, the university

tried to tell me, but through sheer

277

:

determination and will, I thought, okay,

well, it's giving you enough chances.

278

:

Let it go.

279

:

But anyway, so yeah, if things are

flowing, I find you're in the flow of the

280

:

universe, you're doing the right things.

281

:

And if things start to go wrong,

maybe there's a better path.

282

:

That's a, an, an interesting

concept because it's one that I

283

:

know that I've struggled with.

284

:

Sometimes I've believed that if things

are going wrong, could be the I just

285

:

haven't found the right path through and,

you know, is this a challenge or a lesson

286

:

from the universe that, you know, I should

still keep going, but there's a different

287

:

way to do it, for instance, or is it just

give up and go do something different?

288

:

And I find that one's quite challenging

and, um, how would you work with that?

289

:

How do you?

290

:

I think when I'm trying to push

something uphill, I think, and

291

:

it's not going uphill, you know.

292

:

I think I stop, I think the message has

always been, how do you find your joy?

293

:

What it's, when you're doing things

that makes you joyous, it's the

294

:

right course of action for you.

295

:

Even if it's nicking and not even looking

at what you're trying to push uphill.

296

:

So when things flow, it's

because you're in line with

297

:

what your spiritual journey is.

298

:

And if you really think you need to

push that thing up the hill, then

299

:

I would sit and meditate on it.

300

:

If it's really going badly, just not

have it again, not have an expectation

301

:

of the answer, but just go quiet.

302

:

Just go, okay, well I'll leave

it up to the divine or my guides

303

:

until I'm inspired to take action.

304

:

Nice.

305

:

Because it's through inspiration that the

guides are talking through us and it's

306

:

through joy that they're talking to us.

307

:

It's through, so you're always

being answered where things joyous,

308

:

we're only here to find our joy.

309

:

You know, we all think we may have

a big mission, but you know, it's

310

:

only from inspiration and joy.

311

:

If it's inspirational and it's joyful,

it's definitely on the right path.

312

:

Um, so it's go back to that.

313

:

Just find your joy.

314

:

Stop struggling with the struggle.

315

:

That's what I would do.

316

:

As I begin to go, okay, just walk

away from it, stop struggling

317

:

with the struggle, find some joy,

maybe sit and be quiet, and wait

318

:

to do it again when I'm inspired.

319

:

Can you remember, well we all remember

times when we're really inspired, you

320

:

know, I came back from Holland after

doing a teacher course, teacher training

321

:

course, a spiritual healing and, you know.

322

:

I've got to do the next course,

so I come back from Holland.

323

:

I need to fly back by the next day

because my inspiration was I've

324

:

got to do the children course.

325

:

I have to.

326

:

That's where we're working from.

327

:

Actually, you've got to be there, right?

328

:

So, um, so that's when you just let

go and wait till you're inspired.

329

:

So just, just around the services that

you offer, um, you offer readings.

330

:

Do you have a channel or, you know, how,

how do you work with one on one clients?

331

:

Is it, as you say, you, you read their

energy and, and things, but how, is there

332

:

a process that you particularly follow or?

333

:

I tend to bring in the design, my

guide, um, I tend to, with permission,

334

:

do the scan of the person to see,

I'm asking what do they need?

335

:

I mean, basically, why did

they come in the first place?

336

:

So, what goals do they

want me to get from it?

337

:

And then.

338

:

obviously through the guides, through

their true self, their spiritual self,

339

:

what else is needed on the spiritual

sense, because we don't always know

340

:

what we need on a spiritual sense.

341

:

However, with muscle testing and pendulum

using to get the yeses and noes, it's

342

:

building that understanding of where

they're at and where they want to get to.

343

:

So I work very closely, well I work

constantly in the presence of the

344

:

divine and the guides to give me the

wisdom, but also checking in with

345

:

my client to see if it's relevant.

346

:

And it, you know, I only, it's only

always relevant to the client, if it's

347

:

not, then we wouldn't do anything, and

the client would always know, so it's

348

:

a process of getting to understand,

obviously I've only given what I needed

349

:

from guides, sometimes it's symbolism,

sometimes they never tell me the

350

:

story, but it's a symbolic, you know.

351

:

You know, you have a trauma in your, in

your heart, for example, you're carrying

352

:

weight on your shoulders where a lot

of people carry their Burdens because

353

:

I've never dealt with them and you saw

I can't have time to deal with that

354

:

and they just carry on So it's about

It's about using whatever I'm given

355

:

from the Divine, from my guides to,

from the client to work with and making

356

:

sure that we're all on the same page.

357

:

And I do trance, I do do trance

channeling, but I tend, if somebody

358

:

wanted that, they could, but I tend to

work more in an interaction with the

359

:

guides, with the client to make sure we're

getting to the, You know, the best thing

360

:

we could do for anybody is get to be the

spiritual being in the human existence.

361

:

Viewing it from the viewpoint of

the divine or from the guides.

362

:

You know, being less attached or not

attached to the outcome of things and

363

:

just living in this moment of joy.

364

:

That's the joyous place of all.

365

:

Would we be living in this harmony,

you know, and we always go back

366

:

to, oh, I've got to do this, got to

do this, got to do this, you know,

367

:

and are we really in the moment?

368

:

And, um, so yes, so it's

always the intention.

369

:

to bring them more spiritual

alongside whatever they want to do.

370

:

But I couldn't influence anything unless

they wanted it because of their choice.

371

:

Their choice is that I say, well,

would you really like to know what

372

:

it feels like to live in the moment?

373

:

And practice in, you know, I might do

it straight away, that'd be awesome.

374

:

Um, but it would also be that

they would sign up to that.

375

:

Yes, I would like to know what it

feels like to start being present and

376

:

recognizing my guides and following

my guides and being in the moment.

377

:

That makes sense.

378

:

again.

379

:

Yeah.

380

:

Um, so do you bring things

like, like Theta into your work?

381

:

Do you, do your work with healing

as well as, um, Is, is it kind of a

382

:

coaching session, a one on one session?

383

:

How, yeah, how do the sessions, yeah,

are they coaching, are they healing,

384

:

are they whatever turns up, basically?

385

:

It's probably a bit of all

of it, whatever turns up.

386

:

Spirit normally show up and it is healing

from the past, past lives, past traumas,

387

:

ancestral healing for your families.

388

:

Um, it's also about, you know,

389

:

Connection to the spirit, to the

true self, to the guides, definitely.

390

:

So healing, if there's any

messages that need to be said,

391

:

you know, messages will be said.

392

:

But mainly it's about clearing

your pathway so you can

393

:

see a very clear pathway.

394

:

Uh, on your journey, um, and clearing

what you need to clear, you know, if

395

:

it's uh, you've come because you're not

very clear communicating with your guide,

396

:

so it'd be making sure that you find a

way of communicating with your guide.

397

:

But equally, all around that, there'll

be lots of healing needed for that.

398

:

There might have been a fear somewhere,

there might have been a past life trauma

399

:

where you felt you were too powerful,

so you're scared of your powers in

400

:

this lifetime, um, or you felt you

were harmed because of your healing

401

:

or, or your connection to your guide.

402

:

So, there's so many different

scenarios and stories that could

403

:

stop you being completely free.

404

:

free and open with your guides.

405

:

And it's about uncovering those.

406

:

So it's healing, guidance,

coaching, guides coming in.

407

:

I mean, I don't do the healing.

408

:

I engage the divine, the spirit,

the guides to do the healing.

409

:

I'm just a very good conduit

to intuitively see what's there

410

:

and hear my guides to what needs

clearing, to then work with the

411

:

client to identify it and clear it.

412

:

You also, um, run training courses.

413

:

Yeah.

414

:

How does the training course work?

415

:

And there's two ways, ah, yeah,

there's a few ways, we could do a

416

:

small group together, either, where

we, you know, have six or twelve

417

:

people, or even less than that, you

know, it's um, how interactive you like

418

:

it with other, with other students.

419

:

And we go through, um, depending

where you're at in your spiritual

420

:

path, about two, three days to,

two days would definitely get you

421

:

connecting, doing the healings yourself.

422

:

There's a third day if you

wanted a bit more in depth.

423

:

Um, always, there's one to

one where I could teach you.

424

:

Um, so there's lots of

methods and ways to learn.

425

:

It's just whatever really

suits the individual.

426

:

Right, so it's very bespoke, really.

427

:

It is, yes, because I can teach a group

of 10 to 20 or I can teach a group of two.

428

:

Um, obviously, uh, there's more

interaction when you get to 20 so you'd

429

:

probably definitely need the free days.

430

:

Because there's a lot more

interaction where if it's two to six,

431

:

you'd probably do it in two days.

432

:

So it's nice for little groups of people

that, you know, you've got a bunch of

433

:

friends where you're growing spiritually.

434

:

You think, oh, it'd be lovely just to have

a little bit more in depth connecting to

435

:

our guides, clearing sessions, clearing

all the old trauma that we've carried in

436

:

past life, and then that's a nice intimate

group that you can move forward quickly.

437

:

It's a real boost to move you forward.

438

:

Brilliant, brilliant.

439

:

Um, just a question that I'm, I'm sure.

440

:

People listening might

ask is, how safe is this?

441

:

Do you, is there a possibility

of bringing in sort of negative

442

:

entities or negative energy?

443

:

No.

444

:

I mean, I have had clients and great

nieces and nephews that come to see if

445

:

they've brought in a negative energy.

446

:

But if you're working with a divine energy

and your true spiritual energy, And you've

447

:

got a gatekeeper, which is a spiritual

guide, and you've got all that protection.

448

:

Nothing, nothing will flow into

that space, because it's too pure.

449

:

It's like, you know, your

guides are protecting you.

450

:

If you've got the spiritual

guides all around you, nothing

451

:

bad is going to get into you.

452

:

So it's making sure that, and it's one

of the things we do, is make sure that

453

:

your guides are obviously proper guides.

454

:

And if anybody does have an attachment

or negativity of some sort, then

455

:

Or lost soul somewhere, we can ask

for that to go to the light so we

456

:

can just pass over to the light.

457

:

So it is very safe and because you're

working in a high energy with your own

458

:

protection, your own guidance system.

459

:

And if you do have any negative

attachments, just ask your own guides

460

:

to come down and start clearing

it away and don't listen to it.

461

:

Got it.

462

:

That's powerful.

463

:

And if you do know, sorry, if you do

know it's a negative spirit, your true

464

:

spirit wouldn't tell you anything.

465

:

That's not really from the highest

perspective, if you know what I mean.

466

:

They would only give you

advice from a God sense.

467

:

Right.

468

:

Um, so sometimes, um, this, this is sort

of things that I've heard very recently.

469

:

Um, if you have a negative, say a negative

attachment and it keeps you very much in

470

:

a internal dialogue of, of negativity,

471

:

um, How, what's the best way of, it's a

difficult one of knowing whether that's

472

:

just your negative dialogue or whether it

is something that's kind of beyond that.

473

:

I think there's two ways again.

474

:

For one there is our mind, we're

not our minds, we're not our

475

:

body, we're only pure spirit.

476

:

So, we do have the monkeys in our mind

that keep going na na na na na na na

477

:

na na na na and they're just monkeys.

478

:

You've got to shut them up

and just tell them to shut up.

479

:

However you want to tell them to shut up,

just ask them to be quiet and shut up.

480

:

But it's also, if there is a spiritual

negative doubt in there, or one,

481

:

you could find somebody like me to

ask it to be returned to the light.

482

:

You could also get your own archangel,

your own true self, your own guardian

483

:

angel, or even Archangel Michael

to ask for the clearing for it.

484

:

And if it is, if it is this negative

thought, just don't listen to them.

485

:

Because there is a difference between

how your true spiritual guide would

486

:

speak to you and how a negative entity

would speak to you, or a negative

487

:

thought train, or a negative pattern.

488

:

Like, so whenever we get into a

negative pattern, it's just a pattern.

489

:

Whenever we get into a negative

thought pattern, it's just a

490

:

thought pattern, it's not a reality.

491

:

The only reality is that we are true

spirit and we're, you know, we're

492

:

experiencing in this human form

that we are inhabiting this body.

493

:

That's the truth, but obviously we've

got a mind that we don't take, you know,

494

:

it's just the machine doing its thing.

495

:

We've probably learned coping

mechanisms with our brain.

496

:

So it's about, yeah, just don't

listen and just ask it to be quiet.

497

:

And then find something positive to

do to reinforce that, like even listen

498

:

to the words of a meditation or listen

to a song verse or sing a song or

499

:

do something that stops the chatter.

500

:

So, you know, interrupt it.

501

:

So how do you know that

you're talking to a guide?

502

:

You said they've got a

very different voice.

503

:

Well, I would always listen

to what they're telling you.

504

:

So, If you put your hand on your heart and

I set the intention to open your heart and

505

:

then you say I wish my spiritual guide,

my guardian angel, to come down, my true

506

:

self, to answer this question for me.

507

:

Just allow the question,

the answers to unfold.

508

:

Don't expect, oh you've got to do

it that way because that's probably

509

:

the negative sport train or the

negative entity or the negativity.

510

:

Just allow.

511

:

it to be answered in, in

a more loving kind of way.

512

:

So you may not get the answer.

513

:

In fact, it'd be good if you could, you

know, say, um, guides, help me with this.

514

:

problem and just let go of the outcome

and then just go about your business.

515

:

So you're not putting so much

expectation on an immediate answer

516

:

and allow the answer to show up.

517

:

Because you don't go with any

518

:

of that attachment.

519

:

Yes, because you're not, not, not,

we're not all in tune, especially for

520

:

myself, I've been great for other people.

521

:

When I ask my own question, I

want to get an answer, you know,

522

:

that's not going to happen.

523

:

Um, but equally, it's about, I'm

very, I'm very good at hearing

524

:

the messages they want me to hear.

525

:

But if I put, if I put a prayer in

motion and I've asked, um, my guides

526

:

to help me with something, it's

definitely about just letting go of it.

527

:

Trust that they've now got it in hand

and they're going to work it out.

528

:

It's not an immediate answer, it

could be, it depends how in tune

529

:

you are of hearing your guides.

530

:

But then you'll go, is it my guides?

531

:

Isn't my bad negative thought trains?

532

:

Is it a negative end?

533

:

You know what I mean?

534

:

Once you get into that mind boggle.

535

:

Yeah.

536

:

Um, so it's just trust they

will find the answer to you.

537

:

And meditations.

538

:

You mentioned meditations.

539

:

Uh, you have some guided

meditations, don't you?

540

:

Do you do a lot of those yourself?

541

:

Um, I do some.

542

:

I need to, well, could do better,

as my school report used to say.

543

:

I've got more to do.

544

:

Um, but it's, you know, it's more

of a when you're in it with a,

545

:

um, a client you can sort of then

do bespoke ones to that person.

546

:

But there's so many on YouTube.

547

:

But the meditation, it's one

way of just focusing on somebody

548

:

else's voice as it's guided.

549

:

to allow you to come

back to that stillness.

550

:

I mean a really good one you can say

for yourself is, you know, especially

551

:

if you've got a negative thought train

going on, you can say I'm not my mind,

552

:

I'm not my body, I'm pure spirit.

553

:

I'm not my mind, I'm not

my body, I'm pure spirit.

554

:

And anything to do like a mantra or

bring you back to the now or bring

555

:

you back to now is like I'm safe, I'm

warm, I'm comfortable, I have plenty of

556

:

feelings, I have my home, whatever it is.

557

:

And it just brings you back

to that sense of comfort.

558

:

So when you do a meditation, there are

so many on YouTube, it's finding the

559

:

right voice that works, the right burst

you need and, but it is a good thing

560

:

to do to just calm yourself right down.

561

:

Yeah.

562

:

I mean the ones I've got

on my channel on water.

563

:

you know, stop the mind shatter

and bring you back into the present

564

:

moment and connect you actually.

565

:

There's one for connecting you to your own

divine intelligence, your own guides, and

566

:

they're three really good tools for you

to use just to come calm your mind down.

567

:

And

568

:

are those available on your website?

569

:

They're on my YouTube channel, but

I will put a link on my website.

570

:

Okay, brilliant.

571

:

I've put all of those in the show

notes anyway, if anyone wants them.

572

:

You were mentioning, is it more

difficult, do you find it more difficult

573

:

to work with for yourself and get

messages for yourself than you do

574

:

when you're working with other people.

575

:

Is it, is it kind of more difficult

to detach if that makes sense?

576

:

It definitely is more difficult

to detach, um, because you, it is.

577

:

I think it's because obviously I know

myself and I connect to the divine, but

578

:

I, as I've gone along I've got better

at just detach, send a prayer out

579

:

there and I detach from the outcome.

580

:

I trust that the divine my guide.

581

:

Truth, self, everybody's got my

question and they're doing all their

582

:

best to answer it in the best way.

583

:

So it's definitely more difficult for

yourself, um, but for other people

584

:

obviously I just get it so quickly,

the information just comes in because

585

:

I, I have no attachment to it.

586

:

So when you're attached to it you

could, you know, um, so that's

587

:

why it's so much easier working

with other people than yourself.

588

:

But equally the more confidence

you get in sending a prayer and

589

:

don't try and answer it yourself.

590

:

Then, you know, you know what it's

like, we ask Dear Divine or Dear

591

:

Spirit Guide, help me find a new job.

592

:

And then we go scrambling around all the

internet looking for a job, when actually

593

:

the right job will present itself at

the right time through a, Oh, you're

594

:

inspired to look one day or something

comes through the door or whatever.

595

:

Yeah.

596

:

And how do, sorry, there's various ways

of working with you, there's the courses

597

:

and there's the one to one sessions.

598

:

How long are the one to one

sessions or is there a course?

599

:

A group of one.

600

:

Nomi and Lance, how do you work with them?

601

:

Yeah, Nomi's put about eight in the

diary, um, for a group of, um, a block

602

:

of eight, which is a really nice number

to, and they're about an hour, an hour

603

:

and a half each, so we've got plenty

of time to, you know, uncover where

604

:

we're at, see where you're going,

what, what, what people really want.

605

:

Um, and then I do them in the period is

whatever suits the client because some

606

:

people have a busy schedule and they can,

they, when they take a long time to absorb

607

:

all what's happened in a session because

you get so much in a session, it's like,

608

:

well, you know, it's like, how do I, I

just want to let all that settle in, you

609

:

know, the changes are taking place, the

healing's been done, et cetera, et cetera.

610

:

So some people have once a

week, some people have once a

611

:

fortnight, some people have.

612

:

Every few days if I want

to really, I want to get.

613

:

I want to be here.

614

:

I'm over here and I want to get over here.

615

:

I want to get really, you know, a big

jump in my spiritual growth and then

616

:

I want to practice all those tools.

617

:

Because it is about practicing all

those tools that every time we get

618

:

out of the moment we use that mantra

to bring us back to the moment.

619

:

You know, I'm safe, I'm

warm, I'm comfortable.

620

:

And it's all about remembering

like your brain's going on and on.

621

:

You're not your mind, you're not

your body, you're pure spirit

622

:

coming back to know that actually

I'm just spirit, you know.

623

:

It's my pain in my leg, I'm not my leg.

624

:

So, those tools, it's good, you know, so

they need to practice some tools, so it's

625

:

really dependent on the client's, uh,

schedules and how much absorption time

626

:

they like and practice time they need.

627

:

It's never ending, isn't it?

628

:

Getting to our spiritual destination.

629

:

True.

630

:

And, um, how do people book with you?

631

:

Is that just through your website or?

632

:

Yeah, an email from my website or call me

on my phone number that's on my website.

633

:

Um, any way like that or recommendation

for a friend and reach out to me

634

:

through WhatsApp or text message.

635

:

Brilliant, brilliant.

636

:

And if, if you had one piece of

advice for someone really wanting

637

:

to connect and maybe for the first

time and maybe they're a little bit

638

:

fearful, um, what would that advice be?

639

:

Help me set the intention

to open your heart.

640

:

And ask your spirit guide to come in and

guide you to the right person you need

641

:

to help you on your spiritual growth.

642

:

And then if you get inspiration to

work with somebody, then you go for it.

643

:

Brilliant.

644

:

And is there anything else that

you would like to, to share today?

645

:

Just that, do that anyway.

646

:

Just open your heart, set the

intention to bring in your guide and

647

:

say, help me on my spiritual journey.

648

:

To help support you,

just open up to spirit.

649

:

Spirit is there.

650

:

We're a spiritual being in a

human existence, not a human

651

:

being in a human existence.

652

:

And the more we come home to spirit,

it's exactly where we need to be.

653

:

Just back to spirit.

654

:

Having this life the best way possible,

as in, enjoy, because we are coming

655

:

back to who we truly are, what we

came before in the first place, having

656

:

a joyous spiritual being, being a

spiritual being in a human existence,

657

:

having fun, so start connecting.

658

:

And that, um, that mention of joy, I,

659

:

on my spiritual journey, I've, I've, I've,

I've I hear it because it's everywhere.

660

:

You know, it's um, if you listen to Esther

Hicks, it's about coming back to joy.

661

:

And what I found was that I'd heard it so

often, I wasn't really taking it on board.

662

:

It's only recently that I've truly got

what that means in terms of, um, that's

663

:

kind of the frequency that you're where

everything, where you're attracting and

664

:

manifesting and you're in alignment.

665

:

And I, I know it's said, but I

don't think it's ever really said as

666

:

clearly as, as the fact that that's

really the frequency with where,

667

:

where magic happens, if you like.

668

:

Yeah.

669

:

It's a beautiful frequency to be in.

670

:

If you can get in that moment.

671

:

Know your connectives, set the

intentions, open your heart, bring

672

:

in the spiritual energy through you,

because it is you, then joy can really

673

:

happen and the magic does happen.

674

:

Royal.

675

:

Because being a logical person myself,

I do tend to push more than, even though

676

:

I do use intuition, once I've got the

intuition then I tend to push, so it's

677

:

that, really recognizing that actually

if you, if you step back and enjoy

678

:

it, that it makes a big difference.

679

:

I mean, that's one of the

reasons I, I kind of do it.

680

:

I chose the Choosing Happy podcast

because that was my biggest learning,

681

:

that we choose how we feel in the

moment and if we can choose to be

682

:

joyful irrespective of what's happening

and sometimes it's difficult, but

683

:

that's where the magic happens.

684

:

It is.

685

:

Exactly.

686

:

Perfect.

687

:

It's exactly choosing that happiness.

688

:

Nobody has the right to change

how we feel about ourselves.

689

:

As we zoom out and think we're little

spiritual beings on our little spiritual

690

:

journey and when we go home we're going to

look at our lives and go well we had some

691

:

ups and downs but we were always joyous.

692

:

You know, we know we haven't been.

693

:

We know we've been at the struggles

of our lives when we had the kids

694

:

and there were jobs and the trauma.

695

:

But when we can really zoom out

and just go back to that happiness,

696

:

that joy, and actually, wow,

we're spirit in a human existence.

697

:

What a fun place, right?

698

:

Yeah.

699

:

Yeah, and if you're logical,

you're not your brain.

700

:

Yeah, yeah.

701

:

Which dog do I feed, as they say?

702

:

Yes, exactly.

703

:

Well, thank you so much.

:
