This week we are discussing how we can sabotage our own goals. This isn’t something we do intentionally, but we often hurt ourselves and our goals by not thinking through some key areas.
We dive into the evaluation needed to come up with real goals and not just the common goals of everyone else.
Then we have to evaluate our goals to make sure they fit our current needs.

Goal Type 1: Stopping the Harmful
- One of the main reasons we make goals is to stop doing something that is hurting us or hurting others we are in a relationship with
- Ignoring something won’t fix it
- Get help checking your blind spots
Goal Type 2: Building a Strength
- Every man is good at something, find what it is and improve it
- Goals aren’t just for the bad areas but are also to help us get better at things we are good at already
- This helps us stay motivated with our goals
- This benefits our attitude and relationships
