There's a royal scandal brewing (allegedly) with the UK royal family allegedly casting their eye on laws before being presented to parliament (Source: The Guardian).
This is not the first scandal involving Britain and The Commonwealth's unelected monarch and her relatives - we've all seen The Crown, right?
In this episode we discuss the value of The Royal Family, whether they are just lobbyists or merely modern influencers. Paul acknowledges they do work and contribute to a sense of identity - he just feels that's outdated. To be clear, he's a republican WITH A SMALL R, not to be confused with the fascist leanings of the GOP.
Phylecia highlights that The Queen is the most influential of Queens, and that no one knows about the King of Belgium. Is she right?
