In Mid-March, much of the nation’s workforce began working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, many employers had to rapidly adjust to utilizing a virtual workforce. With this unprecedented shift in working habits, employers may be overlooking business-related expenses being incurred by their employees. We intend to offer a brief refresher regarding employer obligations with regard to expense reimbursement amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
