Raven:

So you found your human design chart, you see all these different shapes

2

:

on there and you go, yay, I'm so excited.

3

:

What does this mean?

4

:

So today I'm going to be covering the

throat center and the numbers that are

5

:

circled in your throat center define

what you are here to speak about.

6

:

So let's dive into this today.

7

:

Welcome back to the empath and

narcissist podcast where I share

8

:

messages about spiritual healing from

narcissistic abuse with human design.

9

:

Because I believe your karmic

experience has awakened you to

10

:

your authentic soul, you just need

the map to call your power back.

11

:

I am your host, Raven Scott,

and I'm an author and trauma

12

:

informed spiritual mentor.

13

:

Raven: In human design, the

throat center is a vital energy

14

:

that governs communication.

15

:

Just like it's related to the throat

chakra, self expression and manifestation.

16

:

Nothing can come into being unless it

is informed and spoken into existence.

17

:

So it serves as the bridge between our

inner world, our thoughts, inspirations,

18

:

ideas, and the external reality,

influencing how we express our unique

19

:

selves to others in relationships and

about projects, how we want to be loved.

20

:

What we are here to share as far

as ideas and within the throat

21

:

center There are several gates each

representing a specific aspect of

22

:

communication and expression Those I

will be covering in the membership.

23

:

I'll save that to the end.

24

:

But today I wanted to cover What does it

mean when you have an undefined throat

25

:

center having an undefined throat center?

26

:

Looks just like this.

27

:

Briefly, I will share with

you what you speak about.

28

:

I have a graphic here you can

read this what you speak about

29

:

on the blog at Ravenscott.

30

:

show and your undefined throat

center looks just like this.

31

:

If you're listening on the podcast,

you can watch the YouTube video

32

:

to take a look at the graphics.

33

:

So the throat center is a third one down

from the top, and it is a white square

34

:

when it is undefined, but there are

circles or purple circles coloring in at

35

:

least one of the numbers in the throat.

36

:

That is technically an undefined

throat center in the human design.

37

:

It can both be , a

blessing and a challenge.

38

:

And this configuration means

that you amplify the voices and

39

:

energies of those around you.

40

:

You often feel the pressure to speak up

and communicate, even when you might not

41

:

feel entirely ready or sure what to say.

42

:

So you may be that person who's filling

in that radio silence because you're

43

:

feeling the pressure to fill in the gap,

which sometimes can be good in awkward

44

:

social situations and other times not good

when you just need the space to be quiet.

45

:

So with this undefined throat center,

instead of meticulously planning your

46

:

words in advance, Your design actually

is talented at and is gifted at trusting

47

:

in your innate wisdom and saying things

off the cuff, depending on what and

48

:

who you are amplifying in that moment.

49

:

And your intuition will tell you this.

50

:

That's why it's important to practice

your strategy and your inner authority.

51

:

By leaning into your strategy, you and

authority, you can discern when the

52

:

time is right to share your insights

and express yourself authentically,

53

:

allowing your natural flow of

communication to unfold organically.

54

:

So when you do this, it honors your

unique interacting with the world,

55

:

emphasizing the following your

strategy and responsiveness over

56

:

the social norms of premeditation.

57

:

And this can be tricky when you are

dealing with a toxic person or a really

58

:

difficult Conflict or a narcissist, you

might think, well, I need to premeditate.

59

:

I need to be prepared.

60

:

I need to have all the answers.

61

:

, but like , I have loved saying

lately is if you want to win

62

:

with a narcissist, don't play,

you don't need to say anything.

63

:

So with your undefined white throat,

you feel the pressure to speak.

64

:

Your communication style.

65

:

influenced by the environment.

66

:

So just go with the flow.

67

:

, you can speak in a variety

of different voices.

68

:

You can mimic who you're talking

to depending on the situation

69

:

or the other person, and you may

feel powerless to take action.

70

:

You and others close to you can't

always predict what the what

71

:

will come out of your mouth.

72

:

That's another thing

because you're amplifying.

73

:

It's not consistent.

74

:

, you just are always

surprised by this person.

75

:

So to thrive with the undefined

throat and the open throat, which

76

:

I'll cover , a little bit later.

77

:

To thrive with this undefined throat,

instead of feeling like you always

78

:

have to speak, instead of feeling

powerless, instead of feeling, , like

79

:

you don't know what you're going to say.

80

:

And it really frightens you, especially

when you're dealing with someone

81

:

toxic that you're interacting with.

82

:

Get comfortable with the silence,

get comfortable with saying nothing

83

:

and wait to be asked to speak.

84

:

And that is where the magic lies.

85

:

The next one is your defined throat.

86

:

So that third center down from the top,

if you have this throat center colored

87

:

in, it usually is always brown, the color

doesn't matter what color it is colored

88

:

in, that's why there's different charts

with different colors, that doesn't

89

:

matter as long as it's colored in,

then you have a defined throat center.

90

:

And this signifies a surrender.

91

:

To your inner authority, guiding

you on what to say or do.

92

:

So it suggests a natural flow of energy

that allows you to express yourself

93

:

confidently and authentically trusting

in the clarity of your communication.

94

:

So build on doing hard things, your,

, discipline and your self confidence.

95

:

Then building upon your self, , esteem

essentially to feel confident

96

:

and authentic, trusting yourself

that you are communicating

97

:

what you need to communicate.

98

:

And sometimes you're channeling messages

from source through your throat, , either

99

:

if it is open and you're doing it through

the amplification or if it is defined and

100

:

doing it consistently within yourself.

101

:

So when you have a colored N, you have

a consistent way of expressing ideas.

102

:

You can speak when you need to and

maybe feel moved by the spirit to do so.

103

:

You're using your inner authority,

remember, and also your strategy.

104

:

If you have a motor connected, well,

number one, you're a man gen, you're

105

:

a manifesting generator, but you can

take Consistent action after informing.

106

:

So the motor that may be connected to

your throat through a colored line,

107

:

called a channel is, , the heart, which

is this center, just this tiny triangle

108

:

down below the diamond to the right.

109

:

If that connects to the throat

or the solar plexus, the bottom

110

:

triangle on the right connects

to the throat or the sacral, the

111

:

second up square from the bottom.

112

:

When connected to a motor center,

it can feel the impulse to talk

113

:

and do too much, too much power,

too much doing, too much, right?

114

:

There's motors pushing, pushing.

115

:

So just be mindful of that as

well and step back and observe

116

:

and say, do I need to say this?

117

:

Does this need to be said right now?

118

:

Is this really necessary?

119

:

And then delete that text or delete

that email or bite your tongue, right?

120

:

So, when also connected to the

Ajna, which is the triangle, upside

121

:

down triangle just above that.

122

:

Or the G center, that diamond

just below the throat.

123

:

You can have a tendency to babble

on and not listen to others.

124

:

And, , if you're not listening to

your inner authority and you're not

125

:

using your strategy, when people

ask you, share, don't worry, don't

126

:

worry about being too concise.

127

:

But if you are not being asked or you're

not being invited in, and you're just

128

:

babbling on about something, people

zone out, they won't listen to you.

129

:

Okay.

130

:

And it won't be productive in your

communication and in your relationship.

131

:

Now, this may happen a lot with

a narcissist because they don't

132

:

tend to invite opinions in because

that's scary, that opens up to how

133

:

they have to take responsibility.

134

:

So what you may find is as you

practice using your inner authority

135

:

and your strategy by waiting to

respond or waiting to be invited,

136

:

depending on what type you are.

137

:

And you're in authority,

like, does this feel good?

138

:

Should I say this?

139

:

Yes or no?

140

:

If you're sacral or emotional, if

you're emotional, how does it feel?

141

:

You'll find yourself not

actually communicating.

142

:

When you're responding to this because

the narcissist won't be inviting you

143

:

in you may be responding But you're

responding to something negative.

144

:

So our inner authority kicks in and says

is this something I really respond to?

145

:

No This is negative energy, right?

146

:

So you actually find yourself not

communicating with this toxic energy

147

:

Just by following your strategy and inner

authority and that therefore plays into

148

:

if you want to win with a narcissist

You know Don't play, don't talk, don't

149

:

interact, don't argue, don't say anything.

150

:

So this next one is completely open,

no gates to find throat center.

151

:

The third center down here,

it is white in this image.

152

:

Also you can look at the graphics

on the blog at Ravenscott.

153

:

show.

154

:

So for those with a completely open

throat center, surrendering to the inner

155

:

play with the outside world is key.

156

:

trusting the time and flavor

of your relationship or the

157

:

activity and expression.

158

:

This openness allows for a fluid

exchange of energy with others.

159

:

So if you're really good at

surrendering and waiting.

160

:

For the action, this is magic and it's

really emphasizing the adaptability and

161

:

responsiveness to the present moment.

162

:

This is key being in the present.

163

:

If you have a completely

open throat center, you must

164

:

practice being in the present.

165

:

Don't plan ahead.

166

:

Don't fear the past.

167

:

Don't think about the future.

168

:

Be in the present.

169

:

Because again, that's

where the magic happens.

170

:

And I've witnessed this

firsthand in my husband.

171

:

He has this and he is the

most eloquent speaker.

172

:

He is the most dynamic speaker.

173

:

He is the most amazing salesperson

that you can even imagine with anyone

174

:

he interacts with because he has

harnessed the, the comfortability of not

175

:

speaking when he doesn't need to speak.

176

:

He is.

177

:

A man of very few words, yet when

he does speak, he is utilizing all

178

:

of those talents and amplifying the

energies to achieve whatever task

179

:

he's at or communicate something

with me or the girls or whatever.

180

:

He knows what to ask in the moment.

181

:

He knows when to ask it.

182

:

And he delivers such an amazing mic

drop when he's presenting ideas.

183

:

I see it in his story and

his coaching our daughters.

184

:

I can imagine how incredible

he was in the courtroom.

185

:

Like there's all these different talents

that you can have, no matter what.

186

:

We're doing in your life, whether

it be work, whether it be in a

187

:

relationship, whether it be with your

children to be able to really lean

188

:

into the present moment and amplify

what is needed to be asked or said.

189

:

It's beautiful.

190

:

There's no, he thinks about it

a lot, but there's no rehearsal.

191

:

It just comes out in the right timing.

192

:

So I want to encourage you if

it's open and you have nothing,

193

:

that doesn't mean that you are

not here to speak about nothing.

194

:

You are here to speak

through a channeled source.

195

:

You are here to speak inspiration

and , ebb and flow in the present

196

:

moment with the energy around you,

energies that you're dealing with.

197

:

So the gates and channels in the

throat, , this is going to be

198

:

something I'm diving deeper in, in

the episode today for the membership.

199

:

So if you want to understand how does this

a supply to me, what does it mean when

200

:

I have, when I have gate 15 highlighted

and it being red, what does that mean?

201

:

And why do I see gate 15

over on the left in the red?

202

:

So this is something to

really take a look at.

203

:

You can't see it in the visual because

it's all the way at the bottom, and I've

204

:

cropped the bottom of the chart off.

205

:

I could use another example.

206

:

Gate 8 is also in the throat

center, highlighted in this chart.

207

:

It has a red line, Going down

towards the G center and it's next

208

:

to the moon over here on the chart.

209

:

So that's what I'm diving

into today in the membership.

210

:

If you want to learn more about all

the gate descriptions and how they

211

:

interplay and give you that flavor

of what you're here to speak about,

212

:

what your authentic voice wishes

to share and really is here to do.

213

:

So then you can learn about that

in my book , about each gate.

214

:

Empath's Guide to Rising Strong.

215

:

You can grab your paperback there and

do your own self study, or you can join

216

:

And you receive three episodes each

week, a meditation on how to heal human

220

:

design, deep dives, information on how

to understand your chart more intimately.

221

:

So both of those are in the link

in the show notes and description.

222

If you'd love to learn more and

dive deeper into how these help

223

:

you, this is what I'm here for.

224

:

This is why I've created a membership.

225

:

And just to give example, I have so many

gates, , defined in my chart, but the

226

:

one that really resonates with me is

the one that brings community together.

227

:

And that is gate 35 31.

228

:

I also have as well to, you

know, serves in a democratic

229

:

leadership role and 45s leadership.

230

:

The 35 is this, , community.

231

:

My voice has an authority to teach, to

share and to bring people into community,

232

:

hoping to bring all of those who are

healing from narcissistic abuse, , to

233

:

heal spiritually and by understanding

your unique blueprint, your unique energy.

234

:

To bust out of the lies and the

conditioning that the narcissist

235

:

is trying to keep you down.

236

:

The darkness is trying to keep

you down, but your human design

237

:

chart shows you your light.

238

:

It is your flashlight to break

free from the narcissistic, toxic,

239

social, societal conditionings.

in your chart in the membership.
