And the first one is, what advice would you give a mom just starting or in

So first off, I want you to know that you are amazing, even thinking about doing

this because it is a big deal and it is going to be a roller coaster of a ride.

You are going to grow in so many ways and it's going to be awesome.

There's going to be highs, there's going to be lows, but

overall it's going to be amazing.

And the thing I recommend is to figure out your niche and what you will ideally

be selling or your plan is to make money.

Will it be online courses?

Will it be coaching?

Will you be doing products?
Charisse:

Like what type of way are you going to be making that money?

And knowing your niche is one thing, but actually knowing how you're going to make

money off of your niche is another thing.

This is something I see all the time with Pinterest clients.

They get started, they have an itch, they get their profile set up, but then

they start getting really frustrated because they're not making any money.

And when I really dig into talking to them, they haven't quite figured out how

they want to make money in their business.

So get your business plan lined up.

It doesn't matter if you're going to change in six months or in a

year, but figure out your niche, who you want to help and what

Like I said, Pinterest is a search engine like Google or YouTube, so it's going

to take time to get cataloged into the system to get seen, but the sooner you

get on it, the sooner you'll see results and you won't have to wait as much time as

you're getting that business up and going.

Okay, the second question is what has your online business

meant to you and your family?

And truly the biggest thing is it has given me a purpose in my life.

As a stay at home mom, I mean, I went from working full time to

being a stay at home mom and I never felt like I was doing something or

accomplishing anything like I knew I was being a mom, but I just felt like.

I needed to do more.
Charisse:
00:04:15
I, where I wanted to do more because being a mom just wasn't
Charisse:
00:04:18
fulfilling enough for me.
Charisse:

And so I felt like I had lost part of myself in a way, but

starting an online business gave me that outlet to feel important.
Charisse:

Again, I was teaching people.
Charisse:

I love teaching people.
Charisse:

I was connecting with other adults versus just young kids all the time.
Charisse:

And the fact that I was able to make money.
Charisse:

Doing that and help support our income and help with that income was just even

more amazing and the more confidence and happy that I am as a mom, the better I

can carry that over into my family life.

And that is what an all my business has done.

I love helping them grow and that makes me happier.

And in turn, we have a happier life and a home, and that is the biggest thing
