Shownotes
I first met today’s guest, Leeana Tankersley, a couple months ago in small town Kansas. As total strangers, I had the privilege of being her roommate at the Cultivating Courage Conference. I told her it felt meant to be that we roomed together because we had some of the most beautiful conversations that truly filled my soul and I knew I had to bring her on the show to introduce her to you.
Leeana Tankersley is a mom of 3, a 6-time author, and a writing teacher. Her work has been featured on outlets such as The Huffington Post, CNN.com, and Publisher's Weekly. She is also the co-founder of the membership community, The Finding You Project, which helps women of any life stage who feel like they've lost themselves after a life detour. She lives in Central Virginia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
In this episode, we’ll chat about:
- The difference between self-sacrifice and self-abandonment
- Are you being loyal to a narrative that is destroying you?
- Instead of focusing on what you DON’T want your life to look like, focus on what you DO want your life to look like
- The power of making amends with the relationship with yourself
