I've been thinking about the ten virgins. The five are wise and five were foolish. And when it came down to being prepared, the foolish said, we need to borrow some of your oil, because that oil is the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Now I can't give somebody the oil that I need to function. I have to rely on the oil of the anointing of the Holy Spirit in me to function to flow to you, and you have to do the same. This is a very unique anointing that actually makes it possible for you to flow to one another in the Spirit. Because the anointing is there not only to speak, but to hear, to receive, so we're giving and receiving. That's what God is giving us, the oil to function with, to move and to manifest and to give and receive.
It's not just giving; it's receiving. That's how the flow of the family, the flow of the body, is building itself up. We have come to a new day. We have come into the day of Spirit. It is the day of Spirit.
The first four days, God dealt with man on a physical plane. And then the next two days, He dealt with man on the soulish plane.
And now we're in the seventh day. And this is the day of the perfecting of our spirits. We've been washed by the water of the word as it has flowed out of our mouths to one another, because it's what the first century colony of the kingdom experienced. The Spirit of God was upon them and now in them and functioning through them and ministering life to one another and they spoke to one another. And they spoke washed each other with the water of the word just as we're experiencing now.
He is drawing us in to what we've looked for our whole lives. We've had all of us in our relationship with God an itch that we can't seem to scratch. And that's been of the Lord the hunger He creates in us, and I'm sure He will continue to you want to walk with Me in this realm?
It's going to be different and you're going to lose yourself in it. But if you do, you're going to find your greatest joy.
This is something that we've looked for all of our lives. And that is the illustration of moving into the ministry that Jesus Christ came to perform. Think of this. He came into the world to lay down His life for every one of us.
Is it any different as we come into the body of Christ? That we come to the place, where we lay down our lives for each other. And I, I tell you, it's a new place. It is absolutely a new place.
John 15: 9 through 16. And I just felt to read it in the message. I've loved you the way my Father has loved Me.
Make yourselves at home in My love. If you keep My commandments, you'll remain intimately at home in My love. That's what I've done: kept my Father's commands and made Myself at home in His love. I've told you these things for a purpose, that My joy might be your joy and your joy wholly mature. This is My command, love one another the way I've loved you.
This is the very best way to love. Put your life on the line for your friends. You are My friends when you do the things I command you. I'm no longer calling you servants, because servants don't understand what their master is thinking and planning. No, I've named you friends, because I let you in on everything I've heard from the Father.
As we walk on and we mature in the Lord, we find out that He requires us to walk the way He walked. Yeah, there's a requirement to walk in the selflessness, in the giving of your life, in the love, all these things. Of course, He works them in you, but you will walk in them. Yeah. And that makes sense if you're going to be His body, right?
God is freeing us to understand by revelation to give your life and lay it down for your brother, when you perceive the Father's heart toward them. Only as we perceive the Father's heart toward each other, and we adequately serve each other. Because we're really serving Him .You did it unto Me. God help us for that to live in our hearts.
