- Get as much done as you can without taking money
- Be in markets that are growing and getting really big
- Big believer in investing in the right people/teams
- Sometimes have to go through stress to realize team is right
- 99% of deals come from trusted referrals
- Getting an idea doing
- Do something, don’t just talk about it
- Find something actionable
- Put yourself out there and meet as many people as you can who can potentially be helpful. Network, hang out, co-exist
- Find something you love doing so it doesn’t feel as much like work
