Welcome to 100 days of Happy - 100 ways to include Happy practices in your life.

These are short podcast episodes - aiming for between 7 - 10 minutes where I explore was to build positivity and energy into your day.

With the fear and discord that is present and building in the world, I invite you to help me lift the energy of planet by starting with you and Choosing Happy for a few minutes each day.

Day 3 - Happy To Let Go

Today I invite you to let go. To let go of the past, to let go of attachments in the present moment, to let go of the need to control, or whatever it is you are clinging to. To let go to make space to let in.

This is the step three in a 5 step 'reset' exercise that I practice every morning. I bring it together as a full, longer exercise on day 6.

Community and Connection

My belief is that we win when we are compassionate, connecting and communicating unconditionally. When we are building a community of like-minded souls supporting each other through the dark days.

Be kind to those around you. They are living their own version of reality. If you want to be in conflict ensure it's aimed in the right direction. Be the example, by rejecting separation and embracing all, no matter where they are on their journey. Be the light, the example others want to follow.

A hundred days to happy day three is happy to let go to let go of things

that have been burdening you you've been holding onto for far too long.

Speaker:

I'm Heather masters.

Speaker:

This is the choosing happy podcast.

Speaker:

Let's get started with happy to like.

Speaker:

Hello and welcome.

Speaker:

Today's three.

Speaker:

Happy to let go in this relaxation.

Speaker:

We are letting go of things we've been holding on to too long things

Speaker:

that we've been too attached to things that aren't serving us any longer.

Speaker:

And I'd like you to choose five things that you want to let go of today.

Speaker:

And just remember that holding onto the past often keeps you stuck in the past.

Speaker:

You can't change the past and you can't change the future where you're living with

Speaker:

your salt and your energy in the past.

Speaker:

So if there are things from the past that you're holding onto, or even things in

Speaker:

the present, maybe you're attached to a person or you're attached to controlling

Speaker:

things, or you're attached to a pattern of guilt or shame you're attached to a tree.

Speaker:

Just imagine letting go releasing that weight, that

Speaker:

energy and freeing yourself up.

Speaker:

Maybe you're attached to fear.

Speaker:

That's something that's very present in our lives today.

Speaker:

What.

Speaker:

Would it be like to let go of that attachment to fear, to let

Speaker:

go of that attachment of a, having to know what's happening on the

Speaker:

news or in mainstream media?

Speaker:

How freeing would that be?

Speaker:

So that's what we're aiming for today, freeing you up for

Speaker:

happiness to allow other things.

Speaker:

I'd like you to start as we have, and the previous two days

Speaker:

was just breathing and relaxing.

Speaker:

We're bringing this all together and day six, and we're just going to

Speaker:

start today with some deep breaths.

Speaker:

It makes sure you're not driving.

Speaker:

Give your attention to your body and your awareness.

Speaker:

And let's start with some deep breathing, breathing right into your

Speaker:

stomach, expanding your diaphragm, and then slowly breathe out.

Speaker:

And again, breathe.

Speaker:

And

Speaker:

one final time breathing

Speaker:

and

Speaker:

with your eyes closed.

Speaker:

I'd like you to just become aware of your body, become aware

Speaker:

of what attachment feels like.

Speaker:

If it feels like a heavyweight,

Speaker:

I want you to let go of that feeling now and imagine yourself walking.

Speaker:

Towards the steps that lead you down to a beautiful golden Sandy beach.

Speaker:

It's a beautiful day.

Speaker:

Imagine the seagulls, the cry of the goals of you.

Speaker:

And when you reached the top of the steps,

Speaker:

Look around and notice.

Speaker:

Notice how amazing this day is how beautiful the beach is, how the

Speaker:

sea and the waves are rolling in and rolling back out so naturally.

Speaker:

And I want you to walk down the steps.

Speaker:

Now, the first step steps.

Speaker:

And as he walked down, you relax even further and go

Speaker:

deeper, deeper towards the sand.

Speaker:

Step nine, step a C a feet, touching the steps.

Speaker:

Step seven, step six, step five.

Speaker:

Step four, going deeper relaxing hall with every step three to one,

Speaker:

and you're on the beach and you can feel the sand on your feet and you

Speaker:

notice that it's actually deserted.

Speaker:

There's no one around you have this moment to yourself.

Speaker:

This special present moment is just for you.

Speaker:

There's nothing else to do.

Speaker:

There's no one else to see.

Speaker:

This is just for you.

Speaker:

You're alone with your thoughts, with your feelings and with a bag

Speaker:

filled with those five things that you want to release today.

Speaker:

And this bag is so heavy.

Speaker:

You're having to drag it along the sand.

Speaker:

Cause it's just so heavy with all of the, the weights of the attachment,

Speaker:

to the things that are in it.

Speaker:

And you drag it to the show, just outside the wave line, outside the water lie.

Speaker:

I want you to dig into the bag and choose the first.

Speaker:

And you lift it up with huge effort the sun.

Speaker:

Is shining on it as he hold it up in the air.

Speaker:

And you appreciate.

Speaker:

What it's been in your life.

Speaker:

You appreciate it.

Speaker:

For the lessons for the blessings.

Speaker:

It has given you.

Speaker:

And you appreciate it for the love that you've had for it.

Speaker:

And then you place it on the sand.

Speaker:

And this, the tide comes in.

Speaker:

It washes it away and takes it out and you let it go.

Speaker:

And just take a moment.

Speaker:

To send it love.

Speaker:

And send it on its way.

Speaker:

And to all calls of attachment to it.

Speaker:

And allowing it to be what it is.

Speaker:

On its own.

Speaker:

Your energy is unnecessary.

Speaker:

You will grow and thrive.

Speaker:

As it's meant to.

Speaker:

And feel.

Speaker:

The release feel.

Speaker:

The weight has gone.

Speaker:

How light you feel already?

Speaker:

And you take the second item.

Speaker:

And again, He hold it up to the sunlight.

Speaker:

You've preciate.

Speaker:

The gift that it has been.

Speaker:

And then he placed it on the sand.

Speaker:

And watch the tide take it away.

Speaker:

Sending it love.

Speaker:

Sending it blessings.

Speaker:

Cutting the cord.

Speaker:

And letting it go.

Speaker:

You take item three.

Speaker:

Hold it up to the sunlight.

Speaker:

I appreciate the lessons, the learning, the love, the gift.

Speaker:

Place it on the sand.

Speaker:

Watch the tides come in.

Speaker:

And take it away.

Speaker:

Let it go.

Speaker:

Cut the cord send it.

Speaker:

Love.

Speaker:

No.

Speaker:

That your energy.

Speaker:

It's no longer required.

Speaker:

And let it be.

Speaker:

And you take.

Speaker:

Item four and hold it up to the sunlight.

Speaker:

I appreciate the lessons, the gifts.

Speaker:

The love the service.

Speaker:

And then place it.

Speaker:

On the shoreline.

Speaker:

And watch the tide come in.

Speaker:

Embrace it.

Speaker:

And carry it away.

Speaker:

Release the call it's sending love and blessings.

Speaker:

And allow it to be.

Speaker:

Let it go.

Speaker:

And the file now, item for today.

Speaker:

Item five.

Speaker:

Take it out of the bag.

Speaker:

Hold it up to the sunlight.

Speaker:

Appreciate what it's given you.

Speaker:

What you've learned.

Speaker:

And then place it on the shoreline.

Speaker:

And allow the ocean.

Speaker:

To come in.

Speaker:

And take it away.

Speaker:

And as it drifts out to see.

Speaker:

Sending love.

Speaker:

Cut the cord.

Speaker:

Allow it to be.

Speaker:

Let it go.

Speaker:

And take a moment.

Speaker:

To feel.

Speaker:

The lightness.

Speaker:

Of letting it go.

Speaker:

To feel the lightness.

Speaker:

And the openness and the space, you have to allow new things in.

Speaker:

Safe for awhile.

Speaker:

To the items.

Speaker:

As the disappear over the horizon.

Speaker:

And to come back.

Speaker:

Up the beach to the steps.

Speaker:

There are only five steps at this part of the beach.

Speaker:

And when you reach five.

Speaker:

You can be so awake.

Speaker:

But for now.

Speaker:

We're just going to start with step one.

Speaker:

And as he takes the first step you begin.

Speaker:

Too.

Speaker:

Come back to the room.

Speaker:

Step two.

Speaker:

Step three.

Speaker:

Feel more awake and aware.

Speaker:

And when you get to five, you're going to feel so much better.

Speaker:

So energized.

Speaker:

With the release of all this energy so much healthier than you were before.

Speaker:

Step four.

Speaker:

Step five, come back to the room.

Speaker:

You're awake wide awake.

Speaker:

Feeling better than before.

Speaker:
