Stacy and Brenda talk with KJ Whitney from Prideful Wellness Self- Care Center in Longmont, CO. Prideful Wellness is a self care center providing services in a microcosm of safety, inclusion, and personal empowerment allowing each individual to go forth with a sense of support, community, and PRIDE. 

We discuss so many topics including belonging to ourselves, in our community, self-love at the deepest level, changing our paradigms around who we think we are and honoring our individuality, aligning with ourselves, becoming an active ally for marginalized communities, gender and privilege, safer space initiative and more!

KJ moved from the DC area 9 years ago to pursue their career in alternative and holistic therapies full time. They’ve been a Licensed Massage Therapist and Bodyworker for 20 years and is the Founder and Wellness Coach for Prideful Wellness Self Care Center in Longmont. They are dedicated to providing our LGBTQ and allied communities with a safe, inclusive, and body positive space for self-care, healing, and thrival. In KJ’s spare time, they enjoy hiking, spending time with friends and partners, and hosting regular meetup groups like Queer & Nerdy Game Night at local Queer and allied businesses.
