A) 2 Timothy 3:2 builds upon the previous verse about the last times. Perilous times will come. After many years of awesome sauce, our country is in perilous times, more so now than at any time, excluding our civil war. Is this the end? It manifests that way. Is it the VERY end? We will know soon enough. But as we often say, it is closer now than ever before. And in the end, there will be an increase in persecution. For a reality check, there has been a 100% increase in attacks on Christians and churches in our country in the last year. But where sin does abound, grace does much more abound, and the Lord will never leave us. He will never forsake us.
