At that point, Shawn had already built up quite a reputable name for himself and was on the path to success, it seemed like he had "made it." Yet, God wasn't done with him yet.
Through his journey, Shawn learned at a revival concert, no less, that there is a difference between obeying God and abiding God. Many of us don't even realize sometimes that we just follow along with what He says not out of obedience but because we're humoring Him in a way.
This episode reminds us all that when we serve God, we need to do so with childlike faith and that should we ever have a time of radio silence from God, something's up and we've probably missed out on doing something He told us to do...
