It was a two-point ball game less than five minutes before halftime when a bad snap went over the shoulder of Lakers' Carson McCain and he was tackled in the endzone for a safety. Harbor Beach followed that up with a deep shot downfield on the next play from Bucholtz to Harper for a score, making the game 18-6 in favor of Harbor Beach. On the first play of the drive, Bucholtz threw a 79-yard pass to Harper for his second score of the night, just 11 seconds before the half was over. Altogether, Harbor Beach added points three separate times in a matter of just four minutes and 18 seconds.
