In this episode, Wendy shares the powerful three-step framework that forms the foundation of her coaching and personal transformation. Reflecting on her own journey through spirituality, personal development, and self-discovery, she explains why true wisdom doesn't come from constantly seeking answers outside ourselves—it comes from learning to trust the guidance within.
Wendy introduces her simple yet profound process: Pause, Get Still, and Listen Within. She explores how creating space away from the noise of everyday life allows us to access our authentic truth, make decisions with greater clarity, and live from a place of inner wisdom rather than external conditioning. This episode is an invitation to reconnect with yourself and discover the answers that have been within you all along.
The Shift Beneath the Words:
Rather than trying to copy someone else's path to success, Wendy encourages listeners to discover what is uniquely true for them. By listening inward instead of relying solely on outside advice, they can make decisions with greater peace, confidence, and alignment.

Speaker:If you are a woman who is seeking to live a more authentic life,
Speaker:but are feeling not enough to step out fully just yet, you are in the right place.
Speaker:If you are a woman who is looking to live your personal truth
Speaker:and make the impact you truly desire, you are in the right place.
Speaker:I'm your host, Wendy Yacboski. Let's step out in this together.
Speaker:So where do you find your truest answers?
Speaker:Let me share with you where I have found mine over the past few years.
Speaker:As a non-denominational minister, as you can imagine, I've done a lot of reading,
Speaker:a lot of studying spiritual books. I've been very much into personal development,
Speaker:so I've read a lot of personal development books.
Speaker:And what I found is that I got away from listening to myself
Speaker:and got into a place where someone else, some author, some teacher, whoever it was,
Speaker:has my answers for me, what they know I need to know so that I can tell others about it.
Speaker:And in that way, I'll have to be honest, I felt safer in what I was sharing.
Speaker:But what I came to find was that I wasn't feeling grounded in my being with it.
Speaker:I was starting to feel confident intellectually because I understood different principles,
Speaker:I remembered different points, I knew they were important to others in order to
Speaker:perhaps let go or to embrace something in their lives.
Speaker:But I wasn't embodying it where I was living it, I needed to get it into my heart.
Speaker:So one of the things I've done for personal development throughout the years
Speaker:is I learned how to get still. I learned how to, well, the first way I did that was actually through
Speaker:meditation. And I remember, you might relate to this yourself if you have ever meditated,
Speaker:I used to be afraid to let go because if I was listening to my inner wisdom,
Speaker:then my higher wisdom, which I called God, would tell me something about myself that either I
Speaker:didn't like or that I needed to do that I didn't want to do. Have you ever had that experience?
Speaker:So it makes you not really want to go in very much if you have those kinds of thoughts about yourself.
Speaker:But here's the thing that I've learned is that I am safe in the stillness. I am safe in the silence
Speaker:because once I believed that life, not the world life, but the spiritual life is for me,
Speaker:I knew there was nothing to fear. I wouldn't be told, I wouldn't hear anything that wasn't
Speaker:coming from love. It would only be for my highest and best. And in being able to
Speaker:allow that to be my truth with practice, I started feeling like I was embodying
Speaker:a greater wisdom than I had ever gotten from books. Now, don't get me wrong.
Speaker:Reading is a good thing. Studying is a good thing. And the third thing that is really good
Speaker:is about embodying it. And we don't know what we embody until we actually go within.
Speaker:What do I really believe? What do I really think? Can I feel myself doing this?
Speaker:So it's one of the ways that has helped me to move forward that is critical, is critical to my sense
Speaker:of self. Because there are times, who doesn't, where I maybe worry about a decision that I
Speaker:want to make. Maybe I worry about the result of something. The only way that I get peace
Speaker:is by going within and getting quiet. And that framework is a three-piece process.
Speaker:It begins with pausing. Once we've paused, we get still, which is a deeper level yet.
Speaker:And the third part is that we listen within, a deeper level yet. Now, those might sound
Speaker:like they're the same thing, but they're actually not. They are three different steps. Getting quiet,
Speaker:getting out of the noise, and the world is really noisy right now, is essential
Speaker:to hearing the truth that we are looking for within ourselves, that guidance that is here for us
Speaker:all the time. Let me ask you, have you ever tried to find an answer when your mind is racing?
Speaker:What you should do, what you should remember, what you should be thinking, whatever that is,
Speaker:it doesn't work, right? We need to do something differently. We can't force an answer. We can't
Speaker:force a truth out of ourselves. We need to open to it, allow it to express itself.
Speaker:I have had experiences that are really the most incredible. I wonder to myself,
Speaker:where did that come from? Those words, that urging, that truth that I just knew was true,
Speaker:but yet when I tried to think about it all the time, it just couldn't come. It feels so important
Speaker:for me to help you to be able to allow yourself to have the space to hear what's actually within you,
Speaker:not what you and I and all of us have been conditioned to do to be successful,
Speaker:which is to listen to others, how they did it. How many of you have experienced
Speaker:somebody saying, wow, that person is fantastic. You're going to just get where you want to go
Speaker:by listening to that person. You did your best, you worked your butt off to do it the way they
Speaker:did it, but something just wasn't working. What wasn't working is your and my truth
Speaker:that comes from us. That's where we need to go. My wish for you is that through this podcast today,
Speaker:through each podcast that you listen to, that you open more and more to your authentic truth,
Speaker:that soul of you that is speaking, even when you can't hear it, always speaking, always loving,
Speaker:always supporting. As we move through these podcasts, you are going to find ways that work
Speaker:for you to pause, to get still, and to listen within.
