Managing staff is never easy, and it's never set-and-forget, but letting someone go can be even harder. It takes awareness, nuance, and compassion (for everyone involved in the process).

Why You Need to Hire SloW, Fire Fast:

1. Not letting someone go can negatively impact your Mental Health as the Business Owner (07:30).
2. It can set a really bad example for your Team. If you allow a Team Member to keep acting in an unprofessional manner, you may see this poor behaviour start to replicate through the rest of your Team (08:30).
3. Team Moral Can Drop! (09:30).
4. If you wait too long to let someone go, it can lead to Client Loss. If the vibes in the Salon are tinged with negativity (or your Team is obviously unhappy) you can lose Clients, even loyal Clients (11:05).
