Living These Decisive Times as One with Christ

Living these decisive times as one with Christ

For many years, the Spirit of the Lord has been speaking to the Church to prepare and form us for the decisive times which we now have entered.

The Lord speaks through the popes, saints, sending His Mother, other prophetic voices. One example is Cardinal Raniero Cantalamessa recently described what we are now living as “a time of great tribulation for the whole of mankind.”[1]

The Lord has not revealed the specific events that we will be facing, nor when the events mentioned in Scripture will take place. We should not be curious about that or about the day or the hour of His coming.

But the Lord expects us to be attentive to the signs of the times.

  • In Mt. 16: 3, He chided the Pharisees and Sadducees for not doing so.

Signs of the times are discerned by being attentive. Every event, every idea or ideology, has a consequence.

  • We need the Spirit to discern and understand these in light of our faith.
  • Then we will know how the Lord wants us to respond as one with Him.
  • St Paul "But you, brothers, are not in darkness, for that day to overtake you like a thief. For all of you are children of the light and children of the day. We are not of the night or of darkness. Therefore, let us not sleep as the rest do, but let us stay alert and sober" (1 Thes 5:2-6).

It should be evident to us that the world is suffering a great tribulation… the rejection of God and all Christian principles. Like at Babel, our generation has forsaken God and made themselves into gods.

The powers of the world are working towards a “great reset” – a social revolution to establish a new world order without God. A great shake-up affecting the world and each of our lives. It means great suffering as civilization, as we know it, falls apart.

But God is also preparing us for His “Great reset.”

  • A time of Judgment:
  • A time of purification and repentance.
  • The grace to see the truth and the consequences of sin,
  • The grace to choose to remain faithful.
  • This graces are signs of His mercy

Rom 1:18 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of men who by their wickedness suppress the truth.

v. 21-22 “for although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their senseless minds were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools.”

The wrath of God

  • It does not mean that God lost his temper.
  • It means love and evil are incompatible.
  • So there is a clash between good and evil.
  • There are two opposing powers, two opposite “world resets.”
  • The result is a great confrontation, which JPII called the “final confrontation between Christ and the Anti-Christ, the Church, and the Anti-Church.

Christ defeated Satan by persevering in love at the Cross. He is forever triumphant. But those who will triumph with Him must now participate in the battle against Satan. Those who are His Body will follow Him to the Cross.

Catechism 677. “The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection.”

Catechism 675. "Before Christ’s second coming, the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the “mystery of iniquity” in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh."

Chapter 8 of The Path recounts some of the prophetic voices approved by the Church which prepare for the tribulation:

One of them is Our Lady’s apparition in Kibeho, Rwanda, Africa. It's in The Path, pg 425. They began when I was a deacon, 1981, ended in 1989.

  • Mother Mary —under the name of “Mother of the Word”—appeared to Alphonsine and other young persons.
  • She gave them an apocalyptic vision of events that soon will take place. She wanted to warn and prepare them and us. She showed them rivers of blood and called all to repentance.
  • No one imagined what was coming. Then, in 1994, a tribal war broke out, which resulted in a genocide. Neighbors killed neighbors; husbands killed their wives... While the world remained silent, more than 800,000 people were murdered. Among the dead were many who were present at the apparitions.

Sr. Agnes of Akita, now 88, spoke on Oct 6, 2019, to relay a message that she received through an angel: “Put on ashes and pray for a repentant rosary every day.”

As the upheaval in the world increases, we are tempted to fall into fear.

It is normal to experience the instinct of self-preservation. Jesus experienced fear at Gethsemane. But he overcame fear by turning to the Father in prayer.

Unless we turn to the Father as one with Jesus, we will focus on protecting ourselves.  We will be misled to seek false security by submitting to the lies of the world. This is taking place now, with the fear of the virus. Soon it will be the fear of the collapse of social order and the economy.

It has become popular to say “be safe,” meaning to be protected from the virus. But the virus that is destroying our souls is ignored. Our goal is not to save our lives in this world but to lay them down with Christ. Our lives are no longer ours. They belong to Christ. That is why we call Him “Lord” and “King.” Remember the Max. Kolbe and the saints.  Father Tim, who died from battle wounds, said: “The safest place to be is at the center of God’s will, no matter what.”

Most people are not aware of the root of the problem: Jesus came to free us from the power of the evil which dominates the world, but few respond.

  • The Lord said: Mt 13:15.  this people’s heart has grown dull, and their ears are heavy of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should perceive with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn for me to heal them.’

Satan went with all his fury against Jesus, now Satan is coming against the followers of Jesus. The Church must follow her Lord to the Cross. As it happened on Good Friday, few will remain.

The Lord has given the Community of Love Crucified a mission:

The Simple Path is our formation to be His faithful remnant of victim souls for these decisive times.

These times are an opportunity to grow in deeper union with Our Crucified Lord.

  • To continue His work of redemption
  • To witness God’s crucified love in the midst’s of despair.
  • This is why we embrace with love and trust the trials and suffering as one with Him

Christ was victorious at the Cross, and his victory will be manifested through those who embrace the Cross and are thus One with Him.

As we live the Path, the Lord takes us to self-knowledge and repentance,

  • The Word and the teachings we received acquire a new understanding.
  • We become aware of the signs of the times and the battle we have entered.
  • We learn how to fight in the battle and defeat Satan.
  • He forms our identity as warriors who mount their horses unto battle.

These difficult times are an opportunity to become great saints.

  • Rm 5:20. Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,
  • (Rev.18:20) —St. Louis de Montfort, Treatise on True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin,n. 58-59 "Towards the end of time and perhaps sooner than we expect, God will raise up people filled with the Holy Spirit and imbued with the spirit of Mary. Through them, Mary, Queen most powerful, will work great wonders in the world, destroying sin and setting up the kingdom of Jesus her Son upon the RUINS of the corrupt kingdom, which is this great earthly Babylon.

In The Path, pg. 170:

“See, I am making all things new” (Rev 21:5)

Saint Arnold Janssen wrote, “The Lord challenges us to realize something new, precisely when so many things in the Church are crumbling.”[2]

The Lord said to our community, “I am doing something new, believe that the martyrdom of the heart is a hidden force!”

–Message November 16, 2010

Eyes have not seen, nor ear heard what your God has prepared for you. I invite you to come and see. I will remove the veil that covers the eyes of your soul so that you can see what few are able to see. You will see the new Jerusalem in all it’s glory. She, more precious than gold or diamonds, will be yours to possess. Allow me to remove the plank from your eyes that keeps you from contemplating the glory of God before you.
