Speaker:episodes day after day, week after week, month after month, and never take a break.
Speaker:I am not one of those.
Speaker:‘Cuz that’s dumb.

Speaker:And tell 'em Evo sent you!
Speaker:Hello, and welcome to another Podcast Pontifications with me, Evo Terra.
Speaker:Mental health is important to podcasters.
Speaker:Family is important to podcasters.
Speaker:Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is important to podcasters.
Speaker:But podcasters, perhaps like you, don't always get to focus on those things.
Speaker:Sometimes podcasters are busy focusing on other things like, you know, keeping
Speaker:income flowing, either through the podcast or through some other way
Speaker:so that those podcasters can keep affording to make their podcast.
Speaker:And hey man, I get it.
Speaker:I've been there.
Speaker:If you're there right now, you've got my sympathies.
Speaker:May you claw your way out of this soon.
Speaker:Now, if you're an infrequent listener or a brand new listener to Podcast
Speaker:Pontifications - and look, I know infrequent is not a bad idea.
Speaker:I put out a lot of content.
Speaker:I get it.
Speaker:This episode is going to be unusual, and here's why.
Speaker:In acknowledgement of all of those important things I just mentioned above,
Speaker:and probably a whole lot more of them, I'm not producing episodes this week.
Speaker:Nope.
Speaker:I'm on vacation with family members working on the work side less and the
Speaker:life side more while I balance things out.
Speaker:From the beaches of Belize, actually, in Central America, in case you're curious.
Speaker:And while I do think it might be fun to record a podcast from Belize,
Speaker:and I also recognize that there are already several podcasts produced
Speaker:in Belize, I'm not going to do that.
Speaker:Instead, I'm going to enjoy this warm Caribbean ocean right outside.
Speaker:I'm going to eat lots of rice and beans, maybe some tree chicken.
Speaker:I'm gonna try to drink the country out of Belikin if I can, all while
Speaker:trying to sneak the occasional fried plantain from Sheila Dee's plate.
Speaker:I'm sure I'll be posting lots of quirky photos and wild thoughts on my Twitter
Speaker:account as is my want, so follow me over there if you would like @EvoTerra.
Speaker:But I do know this.
Speaker:I shall be back on Monday, October the 11th, 2021 with yet
Speaker:another Podcast Pontifications.
Speaker:Cheers!
