Um, hello, I'm Siobhan Daniels, and this is retirement rebel life after 60. This isn't just a podcast. It's a journey, a rebellion, and a promise. And I'm here to share all of that with you. Let's start with the raw truth. There was a time when I felt at rock bottom. I was in my late 50s when I lost two of my siblings. At 53 to can answer, my daughter had left home after years of me being a single mother.

I was struggling with the menopause, and having spent a lifetime in journalism chasing stories, deadlines and success, I was feeling underappreciated, isolated, and, frankly, a bit lost. It was like standing at a crossroads, with the traditional path of retirement looming ahead, a path that felt more like a resignation than a liberation. But something inside me awakened. Call it the spirit of adventure. A refusal to accept that this was all that life had to offer me post 60. I wasn't ready to fade quietly into the background. No, I was ready to make a statement, to live boldly. So I did something some might call crazy.

I gave up my home, packed my existence into a motorhome, and set off on an adventure to rediscover life, joy, and myself.
