10

modern world, then this is for you.

11

:

Welcome to ever be.

12

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746: Yes.

13

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747:

back to ever Be everybody.

14

:

I have two incredible

ladies on the podcast today.

15

:

You may know them as everything Krause.

16

:

We have Isabelle and Kateri today.

17

:

Welcome.

18

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

Hey, thank you.

19

:

Thank you Mari, so much for having us.

20

:

We're so happy to be here.

21

:

So excited to be here.

22

:

I think this might be our first

ever podcast interview together.

23

:

Yes, we've done 'em

24

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Yeah.

25

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

just about different topics in general,

26

:

but this is our first one together.

27

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: That's awesome,

and you guys are sisters, right?

28

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746: Yes.

29

:

Kari is, how old are you?

30

:

Three years older.

31

:

Som years older than, I'm 27.

32

:

Yeah.

33

:

Mm-hmm.

34

:

And I'm, I'm 23 right now.

35

:

A lot of people flop that.

36

:

They're like, oh, Kari, you look younger.

37

:

And I'm like, one day I'm

gonna love that compliment.

38

:

But am.

39

:

I am three years older,

but it's basically, I feel

40

:

like we're twins, honestly.

41

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747:

Girl, I am 28 and my sister is

42

:

22,

43

:

and people all the time

think she's older than me.

44

:

Like, I dunno what it's, but

I get that people think I'm

45

:

like 16, like all the time

46

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

yeah,

47

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: and I hate it.

48

:

But the closer I get to 30 the

more I'm like, yeah, whatever.

49

:

It's fine.

50

:

Like you can think I look young.

51

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

Exactly, yeah.

52

:

I'm still 21.

53

:

That's

54

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Yeah, like one

day I'm gonna get to be like 40 or 50

55

:

and people are gonna be like, are you 25?

56

:

And I'm gonna be like, yeah,

57

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

exactly.

58

:

They're, yeah,

59

:

Then the, then the younger

60

:

sisters are gonna be like, okay, yeah,

I don't like that compliment anymore.

61

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: exactly.

62

:

Well, thanks for coming on here.

63

:

You guys.

64

:

Can you share just a little bit

about what you guys do online line?

65

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

Yes, definitely.

66

:

So we are, as Mari said, everything,

Krause, which is just like the

67

:

name of our brand that we created.

68

:

Basically we're centered on health,

wellness, faith, really bringing.

69

:

What we like to say, health and God

back to our generation and showing that

70

:

they're not two separate things, but two

things that go hand in hand together.

71

:

So we post a lot about clean eating,

a lot about non-toxic living.

72

:

Um, we're Catholic in particular, so

we post a lot about our Catholic faith

73

:

journey and growing in our spiritual life.

74

:

Um, but we mainly just share

everything lifestyle as well.

75

:

Like we said, we're sisters, but

we're also best friends journeying

76

:

through this life together.

77

:

So.

78

:

We like to share things that are relatable

and real, rather than almost teaching

79

:

people because we're we're not teachers.

80

:

You know, we're, we're growing through

life as we go, and we want you to, we

81

:

want all of you to really grow with us.

82

:

We like to say

83

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: That's awesome.

84

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

said.

85

:

No notes, no notes on that one, sis.

86

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Amazing.

87

:

I love it.

88

:

I'm excited to dive into all things

healthy living, how you got into this

89

:

clean lifestyle, how you integrate

it with your faith, um, and just how

90

:

you grow in these different virtues.

91

:

So before we jump in, let's

do our ever be moments today.

92

:

Do you guys have any,

93

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

Yes, I'll start.

94

:

Yes, go ahead.

95

:

Okay.

96

:

So my ever be moment, it's

actually a small one, but I feel

97

:

like it's in the smallest moments

that God really reveals himself.

98

:

So, as I said, we are content creators,

and there was one day where I was just

99

:

really in my head about our platform.

100

:

I started comparing myself to other

creators almost in a way though of.

101

:

we making an impact?

102

:

God, are we doing

103

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Hmm.

104

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

us to do?

105

:

Are we resonating with people?

106

:

Is our message even

really affecting people?

107

:

Like, or am I just posting

into the void like it was this

108

:

really weird, negative thought

109

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Mm-hmm.

110

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

into and I was just crying in the middle

111

:

of my prayer saying this to all of

them being like, I trust in you, Lord.

112

:

Just like, please guide me and.

113

:

Course, whenever I, whenever

I bring that to prayer, I'm

114

:

like, I know not to compare.

115

:

Like I know that you made me

uniquely me and I need to remember

116

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: It's okay.

117

:

I've been.

118

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

I, yeah.

119

:

So when I got home from that walk and

that prayer, I picked up my phone and I

120

:

was like, lemme go read a few comments, a

few dms, make sure I answer some people.

121

:

And I had gotten a DM like two minutes

ago from this girl who told us that she

122

:

originally followed us for health and

wellness content, but she's a Protestant

123

:

Christian and she has been so inspired

by our, by our Catholic post and started

124

:

going to mass and it's just like super.

125

:

Diving in for something deeper and

she's converting to Catholicism, which

126

:

I just thought was like so special

because I don't know, it was in that

127

:

moment that I was like, I like looked

into the sky and I was like, thank you

128

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Hmm.

129

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

thank you for showing that our

130

:

content does really make an impact.

131

:

There are people behind

132

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Yeah.

133

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

that are reading our captions, that

134

:

are reading our stories, and I'm

not just posting into the void.

135

:

I'm doing what you're calling me to do,

and it was just such a small moment,

136

:

but such reassurance that I needed that.

137

:

I was like, I can put that

thought behind me for good Now.

138

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: I love that.

139

:

That's so beautiful that you got to see

that reassurance right then and there.

140

:

Um, I'm sure a moment will come

back where, where you're gonna need

141

:

that reassurance again and the Lord

will keep giving you those breadcrumbs.

142

:

But that's beautiful that

you answered that prayer.

143

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

Thank you.

144

:

Oh, I always say Isabel's

prayers are very powerful too.

145

:

So when she told me that,

I'm like, I'm not surprised.

146

:

He answered you literally five

minutes later with that DM like that.

147

:

He was like, I got you, my child.

148

:

Don't worry.

149

:

Like truthfully.

150

:

Yeah.

151

:

So I, and I love hearing that obviously

as her partner and all this, I'm

152

:

like, okay, re reassures me that.

153

:

It feels like we're

truly on the right path.

154

:

Um, kind of going off of that

my ever be moment again, going

155

:

along with like the path of things.

156

:

So another thing that I do and

another on the other side of

157

:

things is I'm a fitness instructor.

158

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Yeah.

159

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

a lot of Pilates classes, a lot

160

:

of sculpt classes, which is very

fun, very passionate about it.

161

:

I recently became a

Lululemon ambassador, which

162

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Yeah.

163

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

a very exciting thing.

164

:

Um, but obviously what Isabel and I post

a lot about is non-toxic, clean living,

165

:

all these different areas of life.

166

:

But we always tell people we're not

perfect in that active wear is one of

167

:

those areas where we're not perfect.

168

:

And when I was driving in the car,

like a little bit after I found

169

:

out that I got it, I was just

like, how am I gonna bridge this?

170

:

opportunity with a brand that I looked

up to literally since I was in grade

171

:

school, like wanting to buy their, you

know, their zip up jackets and being

172

:

like the girl in Lululemon, right?

173

:

Like literally in grade school.

174

:

And how can I bridge this now

with what is well, and I do.

175

:

And I just, had just gotten done

praying the rosary and I feel like I

176

:

just had this moment come to me of.

177

:

This is the opportunity that

you can make maybe even a bigger

178

:

impact in such a big space.

179

:

Like talk about like

little fish in a big pond.

180

:

That's how I feel in terms of being

in partnership with Lululemon.

181

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Wow.

182

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

an amazing opportunity, and I feel

183

:

like I have all these fun ideas that

are now of coming to fruition in a

184

:

way, or just coming to me about how

God's like, listen, you can make a

185

:

massive impact here, bringing this

non-toxic living, this healthier.

186

:

Lifestyle for women's fertility men,

like all these things that we talk about

187

:

with clothing and non-toxic living and

bring that to this massive company.

188

:

And even if I move the needle like half

an inch, I think that's even amazing.

189

:

So I feel like, you know, questioning

like, oh, is this right for me?

190

:

Like I was questioning, right?

191

:

There was a time when I was like,

God, is this really meant for me?

192

:

Or is this something that's

gonna throw me off of?

193

:

I think like the path that we're on

together too, because obviously, you know,

194

:

like that's something that I'm a part of.

195

:

But of course Isabelle is a

part of my life, so I'm like,

196

:

I have to think about that.

197

:

And I feel like in that moment

God was like, is a part of your

198

:

plan in some way, but you have to

kind of have the guts to do it.

199

:

And even if, even if they tell

you no a thousand times, like

200

:

try and get one yes in that door.

201

:

So who's ever listened to this podcast?

202

:

You're hearing it here first.

203

:

We're we're pushing for that non-toxic

204

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Yes.

205

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

big, big brands here.

206

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: would

be like, so life changing,

207

:

honestly.

208

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

Yeah.

209

:

No, I know,

210

:

I know.

211

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: So

212

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746: I

213

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: life changing.

214

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

your products out.

215

:

I will be your Guinea pig.

216

:

Like,

217

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Yeah.

218

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

me do it.

219

:

If anyone from Lululemon is

listening, I promise we will get this

220

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747:

Call her please now.

221

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

Yeah.

222

:

Yes, exactly.

223

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: That's awesome.

224

:

I love it.

225

:

Thanks for sharing that.

226

:

Um, for me, my ever be moment, so

yesterday in my morning prayer time,

227

:

I decided to open up some old prayer

journals that I've had, like since I

228

:

started prayer journaling back in 2018.

229

:

And so I literally started with

the first one, which was like.

230

:

Old and I was just so inspired by

seeing the ways the Lord has answered

231

:

little prayers and even the way the

Lord has like even used those old

232

:

prayer journals to speak to me now and.

233

:

I fell on some notes from SEEK

conferences, like the first seek

234

:

conference I went to back in 2018

and there was this whole page that

235

:

I drew from Sarah Swofford talk that

said, live life with open hands.

236

:

And it was just like, we just tend

to grasp so much for what we want

237

:

or our plan or our time or whatever.

238

:

And I just, it all came flooding back.

239

:

She was just like, why live like this?

240

:

Like when you can live like

this and how much more like.

241

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

that.

242

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Joyful

and free and fulfilling, and even

243

:

just like peaceful, is it to be

like this instead of like gripped

244

:

knuckles, you know what I mean?

245

:

And the Lord can work so much

more when we are like this.

246

:

So that was just a good encouragement

for me and hopefully to anyone

247

:

who needed to hear that today.

248

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

Yeah, no, that's, which I love that.

249

:

That's beautiful.

250

:

And it's, even being able to

visualize that, I feel like it's,

251

:

it's so easy to go through life with

252

:

that grip of feeling like I'm in

control and I need to control it.

253

:

Like, what do I want?

254

:

What do I, I, I,

255

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Yeah.

256

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

so often we, you know, hearing that

257

:

I'm like, that is, that's beautiful.

258

:

I, know that's gonna be something

that's gonna stick with us for sure.

259

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Good.

260

:

I love it.

261

:

Well, let's jump into it.

262

:

I wanna start off by

bringing up your guys' bio.

263

:

'cause I thought it was just

so fun and catchy and yet like

264

:

communicated such a message.

265

:

It's

266

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

thank you.

267

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: living

non-toxic, moving our bodies,

268

:

growing our minds, and serving God.

269

:

So I kind of wanna know like were

these values that you guys have always

270

:

had throughout your life, or how did

you really grow into this lifestyle?

271

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

Mm-hmm.

272

:

I feel like all those values have, like

you said, they have always been a part

273

:

of our life in some way, especially like

faith, for example, we born and raised

274

:

Catholic, so we had very faithful parents

still to this day, very, very faithful.

275

:

Great examples for us.

276

:

Our nana was, you know, walked

around with rosaries in our hand,

277

:

fell asleep every night, praying.

278

:

Our rosaries was always just,

you know, went to daily mass.

279

:

So we had this inspiration

around us all the time.

280

:

It's funny because when even hearing

you talk about it, I feel like all

281

:

these things have so naturally been

embedded in our life, but have grown so

282

:

much, especially through this account

and through all the people we meet and

283

:

just in growing in our own journeys.

284

:

I feel like if you had asked us

when we started our account Ways

285

:

and ways ago in 2017, if that would

be our bio, we've probably been

286

:

like, why is all that included?

287

:

Why isn't fashion on there?

288

:

Or like lifestyle trends?

289

:

Why, you know, I feel like it

would've been confusing, so.

290

:

As much as it's always been a part

of our life, there's definitely

291

:

areas that have grown so much in the

past few years of like deepening our

292

:

faith and especially in the non-toxic

293

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Mm-hmm.

294

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

we weren't always paying attention to

295

:

what we were putting in our bodies,

296

:

what we were wearing, what we were

eating and drinking, things like that.

297

:

Like that is a newer thing for us

in the past few years for sure.

298

:

Mm-hmm.

299

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: Mm-hmm.

300

:

squadcaster-b37c_1_04-14-2026_123746:

really cool to see it all come together.

301

:

I think like hearing it now, I'm

like, wow, it really did all come

302

:

full circle for us in a way, and

we're still growing in all of that.

303

:

Working on that bio

and growing it as well.

304

:

I think the, the foundation of it that has

always been there, like Tiri said, really

305

:

was the faith aspect and the fitness

aspect, I would say for our entire lives.

306

:

You know, we watched our mom and our aunt.

307

:

Run every single weekend down the shore.

308

:

They ran marathon after marathon.

309

:

So we were constantly surrounded

by adults who moved to their body.

310

:

Mm-hmm.

311

:

So for us, when we started working

out, it wasn't like something that

312

:

was like, oh, I'm going to the gym.

313

:

It was like a natural born thing to do.

314

:

And I think that with our faith were

the two foundational pillars that

315

:

like grew us to where we are today

and almost allowed us to evolve.

316

:

I think if we didn't have those pillars.

317

:

You probably wouldn't be the same people.

318

:

Mm-hmm.

319

:

So those values were maybe there,

and I think because of those values,

320

:

the other ones fell into place and

that's why we were even passionate

321

:

enough to dig into them eventually.

322

:

Mm-hmm.

323

:

mcw_1_04-14-2026_103747: That's awesome.

324

:

I love it.

325

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Alright, let's

chat a little bit about non-toxic living,

326

:

because I feel like it's been on the

rise the past couple years, and yet

327

:

it's still very new to a lot of people.

328

:

So I'm curious to know a little

bit more about your guys' journey.

329

:

What were some of the wake

up calls maybe that put you.

330

:

That made you start actually caring

about what you put on your body, in

331

:

your body, in your home, all the things.

332

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

Wanna go.

333

:

So I think our journey really started

with clean eating and non-toxic living

334

:

came from that we, we kind of tackled

one beast before tackling another.

335

:

Um, and I would say it was

in, I think it was year:

336

:

Our mom was diagnosed with ms,

which is multiple sclerosis.

337

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yep.

338

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

it's an autoimmune disease.

339

:

And when she was in the hospital,

they told her like, you're gonna

340

:

be in a wheelchair within a month.

341

:

And if you heard me earlier in the

podcast, like she was running marathons.

342

:

She worked out every single day.

343

:

She was an active woman.

344

:

So like in our mind, she was

the healthiest person that

345

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

346

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

Yeah.

347

:

Mm-hmm.

348

:

So to us, we were like, what do you

mean she's gonna be in a wheelchair?

349

:

Like, she couldn't even comprehend

that idea and she really

350

:

refused to accept that idea.

351

:

So.

352

:

When she heard that, they immediately

told her like, get on medicine,

353

:

here's your pills, et cetera.

354

:

And she kind of was like, I'm

not accepting this reality.

355

:

I'm not accepting this as my fate.

356

:

I'm gonna do everything in

my power to change my future.

357

:

And that's when she kind of contacted

our cousin, who was super, his

358

:

name's Evan, he's super into health

and wellness, holistic living.

359

:

And he recommended Dr.

360

:

Terry Walls who wrote a whole book about.

361

:

Autoimmune diseases and the paleo

diet, which was, you know, no carbs, no

362

:

sugars, like it was very restrictive.

363

:

No tomatoes, no nightshade vegetables,

like very anti-inflammatory,

364

:

like to the max mm-hmm.

365

:

To the

366

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Got it

367

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

could be in terms of relating it

368

:

to, um, an autoimmune disease.

369

:

Yeah.

370

:

In a

371

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: right.

372

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

it, it was for a good reason, right?

373

:

Mm-hmm.

374

:

Because autoimmune diseases are

inflammation in the body, so the

375

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yep.

376

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

thing to do for your body is

377

:

to lower that inflammation.

378

:

So.

379

:

the diet was really focused on that.

380

:

So she was like, I'm gonna try it.

381

:

I'm gonna try this diet.

382

:

I'm gonna go strict.

383

:

I'm not gonna break it.

384

:

I'm just gonna see what it

385

:

does.

386

:

So she went paleo for, I would

say a good, I don't know, year.

387

:

Yeah,

388

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Wow.

389

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605: And

she was in the best shape of her life.

390

:

She was so unbelievably healthy.

391

:

She didn't have any flareups of MS.

392

:

Comeback.

393

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Wow.

394

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

was really, yeah.

395

:

Mm-hmm.

396

:

So that was all changed simply by

her diet, and that was a huge wake

397

:

up call for us because we were like.

398

:

Hold on.

399

:

They told us you were gonna be in a

wheelchair in a month and here you

400

:

are going on a 10 mile run with us.

401

:

What happened here?

402

:

Like what changed your future?

403

:

We obviously, you know, had the

idea, okay, clearly it was your diet.

404

:

How does that affect us?

405

:

Like, we're ahead of the game right now.

406

:

We don't have ms, but

maybe that's in our future.

407

:

We need to take accountability now and

kind of take control of our lives and

408

:

really start fueling our bodies properly.

409

:

Paying attention to the food that

we're going in, in, into our bodies.

410

:

'cause if it's having that

big of an impact on you.

411

:

doing stuff to us right now, even if

we're not experiencing the negative

412

:

effects of the food yet, it's happening

internally that we don't see yet.

413

:

And I would say that was probably

the biggest wake up call to

414

:

you put in your body matters.

415

:

Mm-hmm.

416

:

And then eventually after, you know,

years of researching that, I think

417

:

we were like, oh, what goes on?

418

:

Your body matters too.

419

:

Mm-hmm.

420

:

Exactly.

421

:

And I feel like we give a lot of

credit, our family does to our

422

:

cousin Evan, because he was very

ahead of the game in terms of.

423

:

He's the one that told us, you know,

plastic cutting boards aren't good.

424

:

You're eating shreds of plastic.

425

:

Like all these things

that we were like, what?

426

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

427

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

we have to get rid of these.

428

:

Yeah.

429

:

All these little things.

430

:

And like as well said, I think just one

thing spiral to the next, and the more

431

:

you know, the more you start to realize

like, okay, if I am like eating plastic,

432

:

I'm probably putting things on my body

or you know, I'm, my skin is my biggest

433

:

organ while I'm putting on lotions.

434

:

Mm-hmm.

435

:

And deodorants that have

sense and then I've.

436

:

It just, it spiraled

437

:

into knowing so much, and

that can be very overwhelming.

438

:

But like, as I said, that started

back in:

439

:

So it's been 10 years of kind of going

on this journey and learning more.

440

:

But I feel like starting with.

441

:

Cleaning up your food is definitely

like the best place to start.

442

:

Mm-hmm.

443

:

So yeah, we were for, I mean, before

our mom was diagnosed, I don't

444

:

think I even heard of the word

inflammation in terms of food before.

445

:

Like I never knew like,

oh, food could be infl.

446

:

I didn't think like that.

447

:

And I

448

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Of course.

449

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

we like ate healthy before.

450

:

You know what I mean?

451

:

I never

452

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

453

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

we were.

454

:

Unhealthy.

455

:

Like our mom never gave us

soda or crazy drinks or cereal.

456

:

Like we were always, I feel

like the normal family.

457

:

And then it was like, oh, whoa,

there's so much to clean out here.

458

:

Like we saw how much our mom

wasn't eating and we're like,

459

:

well, we can't eat that then.

460

:

Yeah, like, but it was, it was actually

really beautiful because it wasn't

461

:

in a restrictive way, and I think

462

:

that's why our relationship with clean

eating has been so beautiful because

463

:

we saw her restriction as healing,

464

:

not as something that was restrictive.

465

:

So when we started clean

eating, it wasn't for.

466

:

Weight loss or for I wanna get rid

of my gut or anything like that.

467

:

It was for, I need to make, I need

to make sure I'm healthy internally.

468

:

So I think that that was a huge

part of our healthy mindset

469

:

around clean eating today as well.

470

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: just like really

recognizing like what is good, what

471

:

is good, and being drawn to it because

it's good, because it's good for you.

472

:

And just, and that comes with a

lot of just like knowledge too.

473

:

And I know it takes time to do the

research, to learn the things, to

474

:

learn the impacts of what foods for

which bodies and stuff like that.

475

:

And so, sounds like it was coming

definitely from like a good intention,

476

:

well researched, um, place, which

is the best place you can be.

477

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

Yeah, definitely.

478

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: And so then

you guys started kind of getting

479

:

into more just like non-toxic

like products and stuff like that.

480

:

And I, I Thank you cousin Evan.

481

:

I mean like, we all need a

cousin, Evan, in our lives.

482

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

Seriously.

483

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606:

Along that journey.

484

:

And it's so true.

485

:

You just start going down a rabbit hole

486

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

Mm-hmm.

487

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: it can be

overwhelming, but I think like the

488

:

piece of advice I always give to people

is just like, start with one thing and

489

:

then just switch out the next thing.

490

:

And when you run outta one thing,

just like do some research and.

491

:

Don't just buy the same mainstream item,

but like try and buy the non-toxic item.

492

:

And sometimes you're gonna have to

try a couple non-toxic brands before

493

:

you find them when that works because

494

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

Yeah.

495

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: people

are greenwashing and it's not

496

:

actually non-toxic and you find out

later or it doesn't work as well.

497

:

And so finding the brands that

actually work well and are

498

:

non-toxic are really hard.

499

:

So it's great when

creators like find that.

500

:

For you and then it kind of cuts

out a little bit of that research.

501

:

Um, so I'm sure you guys share some

good swaps and stuff on your page.

502

:

People can find,

503

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

Yeah, definitely.

504

:

That's why we like to be the Guinea

pigs for people in that regard.

505

:

I mean, we, we,

506

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: yeah.

507

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

we have the products that we know and

508

:

love, like you said, we know the ones

that work and we know the deodorants

509

:

that aren't cutting it for us.

510

:

You know what I

511

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yes.

512

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

We're, we're happy to share that and I.

513

:

Our mission is to be able to make

the decision easier for you of like,

514

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

515

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

needed to go get a quick swap,

516

:

go to the everything cross girls,

what are they saying for this

517

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Totally.

518

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

gonna try it out.

519

:

And it might not work for them.

520

:

Who knows?

521

:

You might have a personal preference,

522

:

but it's always, just like you

said, it's one thing at a time.

523

:

So we try and be that liaison for

people between the brands and you

524

:

know, consumer as much as we can.

525

:

Mm-hmm.

526

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: what is your

guys' wellness routine look like week to

527

:

week, and are there any non-negotiables

that you really try not to miss?

528

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605: Hmm.

529

:

It's hard 'cause I think

it changes a lot, honestly.

530

:

Yeah.

531

:

I don't think we're those classic wellness

girls that have a 15 step morning routine.

532

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Okay.

533

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

never been that.

534

:

Like

535

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

536

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

the wellness tools.

537

:

I think they are wonderful.

538

:

I love my vibration plate.

539

:

I love my red light.

540

:

I love that stuff.

541

:

But.

542

:

nongo non-negotiables to me

because I could be traveling,

543

:

I could be down the beach.

544

:

I could be somewhere where

I don't have that in my

545

:

routine.

546

:

So I don't like to hinge

health or my wellness on.

547

:

Tools that I need to have

in a certain location.

548

:

I just think that's not sustainable.

549

:

So I think our wellness routine

really comes down to, I would

550

:

say like holistic health really.

551

:

You know, like we always get

our sun in every single day.

552

:

Even in the winter, we try to go

outside for at least 10 minutes and

553

:

just stand in the sun, get that vitamin

D in first thing in the morning.

554

:

Um, we always move our bodies,

like whether it's a walk or a

555

:

workout, a lift, a workout class.

556

:

It's probably like the first

thing that we do in the morning

557

:

is move our bodies.

558

:

I think it just.

559

:

Helps us more mentally

than it does physically.

560

:

Truly.

561

:

I was gonna

562

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

563

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605: like

number one non-negotiable because you can

564

:

tell if we haven't moved in the morning,

even if it's a nice walk, we got pen up

565

:

energy and it's not always good energy.

566

:

So it's, it's definitely you can tell.

567

:

So that's something that has

just with us for so long.

568

:

We've been in such a habit of

moving our bodies that if we

569

:

don't, we crave it so much.

570

:

So that's like a hundred percent

even if we are traveling.

571

:

Mm-hmm.

572

:

Like we are the people that.

573

:

If we're going to a new

place, we like to walk around.

574

:

We like to, if there is a hotel with a

gym, can we squeeze in a little workout?

575

:

Yeah.

576

:

Not because we want to be skinny,

but because we need it for our

577

:

mental clarity and also just our

578

:

bodies grade it so much.

579

:

Like we know it makes us

better for the rest of the day.

580

:

Yeah.

581

:

Um, I also would say, which you wouldn't

really think is wellness, but Kati

582

:

and I are big believers that it's a

huge part of your wellness routine.

583

:

Prayer.

584

:

Something that we will

never miss in our day.

585

:

Recently, we've been actually

starting our day with it more than.

586

:

a workout and then coming to it.

587

:

We've kind of been finding time

in the morning for it, but we

588

:

personally think prayer is so, like

such a big part of your wellness

589

:

routine because everything in your

life stems from your spiritual life.

590

:

Like that is our big pillar.

591

:

And the workouts, what we eat, everything

is to honor God and to glorify his

592

:

name and to become the best version

of ourselves and who he has in store

593

:

for us, who he wants us to become.

594

:

And prayer is just the foundation

of that because if we're not

595

:

communicating with him, if we don't.

596

:

Talk to him.

597

:

If we're not telling him, you know, our

day to day, we kind of fall away from him.

598

:

Right?

599

:

He's

600

:

never falling away from us.

601

:

We, we place the distance between us.

602

:

So I would say that's probably like the

biggest non-negotiable to make sure we're

603

:

always in tune with what he's asking of us

and just really trying to follow his plan.

604

:

It's probably the number one thing

that helps me, like let go of my plan.

605

:

Like if I go a day without prayer,

I'm like living in my own world,

606

:

grasping, like you said, you said.

607

:

Mm-hmm.

608

:

Grasping on the things I want.

609

:

So.

610

:

I know it doesn't seem like

wellness, but it really is.

611

:

I've been starting my morning and I think

Isabel, you introduced this like very

612

:

short prayer of, Lord, just get in my

head before anything else does today.

613

:

So like I said, I'm a fitness instructor,

so a lot of the mornings I'm waking

614

:

up and I'm going right to the studio.

615

:

So a lot of the time it doesn't

feel like, oh, I have time for

616

:

my own routine in the morning.

617

:

And you know, that's just a

really funny excuse mm-hmm.

618

:

That I make for myself sometimes.

619

:

So recently I've just been

saying that quick prayer.

620

:

I've been asking him, you know,

give me the patience I need today.

621

:

Help me stay calm and present and you

know, capable and all these decisions.

622

:

That is one I have to make,

like whatever it is we're doing.

623

:

And I feel like even just saying

it takes literally like 15 seconds.

624

:

That prayer, sometimes maybe

even less, has helped me so much.

625

:

So if anyone is listening is like, I

don't know how they squeeze all that in.

626

:

I have been there and I've

even just started implementing

627

:

that and it's helped me.

628

:

Even like, see God more throughout my

day and like, see, okay, maybe he's

629

:

testing my patients in this situation.

630

:

Let me channel the strength that

he's giving me right now to stay

631

:

patient, to stay calm and not be so

reactive to this very minor situation

632

:

that doesn't need a reaction.

633

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: No, I love that.

634

:

Thank you for sharing that.

635

:

Yeah.

636

:

Were you gonna say one more time?

637

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

I, I can't leave out, like, I

638

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Bring it on?

639

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

I, how did I not mention this?

640

:

Lemon olive oil shot.

641

:

I will say that's like the one

thing I would say in our wellness

642

:

routine that we take every morning.

643

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Okay.

644

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

It's one to two tablespoons of

645

:

olive oil and then half a lemon.

646

:

One, it tastes so good.

647

:

Everyone's like, how

do you even like that?

648

:

I'm like, it taste.

649

:

If you get a good olive oil, it'll taste

650

:

amazing.

651

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: mean, all

652

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

need a good olive oil

653

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: yes.

654

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

need it to be rich in polyphenol.

655

:

So an cold pressed, extra virgin organic

olive oil is ideal, um, for you to

656

:

really receive the benefits because it's

great for inflammation, for glowy skin,

657

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Mm-hmm.

658

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

everything, like every

659

:

benefit in the book.

660

:

That's what this shot does, and it's

so simple when you just start your day

661

:

with it on an empty stomach and take

that like it's so good for your system.

662

:

would say we swear by that.

663

:

Yeah.

664

:

Another thing that we now crave in

the morning, which it sounds crazy

665

:

to crave olive oil first thing

in the morning, but it is one of

666

:

those things that I love doing.

667

:

It's like, Hmm.

668

:

Nice little, like kick to the morning.

669

:

Yeah.

670

:

That's our type of shot.

671

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: I love it.

672

:

I'm definitely gonna try that.

673

:

I saw that on your guys' page, so I was

hoping you guys were gonna bring that up.

674

:

I'm like, this seems to be

like the thing they stand on.

675

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

Yeah.

676

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: so

677

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605: It

really is, and I'm happy that I'm seeing.

678

:

Yeah, I'm having them seeing

people talk about too.

679

:

'cause I'm

680

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: yeah.

681

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

this isn't one of those wellness,

682

:

at least for me personally.

683

:

Like I truly love it.

684

:

So

685

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

686

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

happy to see other people post it.

687

:

'cause whenever I do, I'm like,

guys, they're not lying to you.

688

:

They're speaking the truth.

689

:

It is.

690

:

Mm-hmm.

691

:

Very beneficial.

692

:

And it's amazing.

693

:

So, well,

694

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

695

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

things you can do.

696

:

I feel like everyone, you know, they're so

busy in their days, like, how can I level

697

:

up my health in such like a 32nd thing?

698

:

Lemon olive oil shot.

699

:

It's

700

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Easy.

701

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

complex.

702

:

You can even, like, literally, I

don't know, buy lemon juice if you

703

:

don't even wanna squeeze lemon.

704

:

I was say, it's not like it's $500.

705

:

It's cost per like, effective here.

706

:

It's

707

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yes.

708

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

Um, other things, other things I think

709

:

that we do just like a few other things.

710

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

711

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

plate.

712

:

We do do that every single day.

713

:

Um, we're big fans of it just for

recovery in a terms of workout.

714

:

Like the way that it, you

know, what is it called

715

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: What does it do?

716

:

I, I dunno, anything about it?

717

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605: so

basically when you get on it, it's just

718

:

like a, a small vibration, which like,

I know it looks like you're just like

719

:

shaking your body, but it's actually the.

720

:

Smallness of the vibration that

allows your lymphatic system to

721

:

really wake up and like move the

blood throughout your system.

722

:

So it's really good for dep puffing

and lymphatic drainage just because

723

:

the micro movements of the vibration

on your feet travel all throughout your

724

:

body and really stimulate everything

like up to your armpits underneath the.

725

:

lymph nodes right there.

726

:

So it's really, really good for that.

727

:

It's really great for muscle recovery

and rest just because your muscles are

728

:

constantly, especially when you go to the

gym a lot like you're, you're constantly

729

:

straining them.

730

:

When you're on the vibration plate, you're

not doing any movements that are exactly.

731

:

You know, working your muscles, but

it's kind of a tiny workout for like

732

:

your calfs that you don't even realize.

733

:

So it just loosens them,

like shakes everything out.

734

:

Feels like, it's a great way to put it.

735

:

It shakes everything out.

736

:

So I love doing it like right when we

get home from the gym or even before

737

:

the gym to like wake up my body,

especially if I'm doing a leg day,

738

:

just because it stimulates everything.

739

:

And I honestly, when we first read

about it, I thought it was a scam.

740

:

I was like, there's no way.

741

:

There's no way this plate works.

742

:

Like what is a vibration plate?

743

:

And then we used it for, we did like this

trial, we used it for 30 days and we were

744

:

like, wait, I feel so much different.

745

:

Mm-hmm.

746

:

I feel so much more

like even clear minded.

747

:

I just felt like I didn't know if

it was one of those things that I

748

:

was playing a mental effect on me.

749

:

But I

750

:

just loved it.

751

:

And then I went down the shore

for a week and I didn't have

752

:

it, and I felt so much more.

753

:

like my rings weren't fitting.

754

:

I was like, oh my gosh, why

am I so puffy right now?

755

:

I feel

756

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Whoa.

757

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

And I was like, that's the only thing

758

:

in my routine that changed was that

I didn't have the vibration plate.

759

:

So I feel like we kind

760

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Dang.

761

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

it now too.

762

:

Mm-hmm.

763

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: That's awesome.

764

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

But you can do a natural thing where

765

:

you just, like, we don't do the natural

alternative because I can't just stand

766

:

there for like 10 minutes and jump.

767

:

I, I just don't have the up.

768

:

Yeah.

769

:

Like people, you know, like

jump, they like swing their

770

:

arms around, which is great.

771

:

I'm like, listen, if you don't wanna

invest in one, they can be expensive.

772

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah,

773

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605: like

not looking for another tool in your home,

774

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: sure.

775

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

can find natural ways to do it.

776

:

Mm-hmm.

777

:

And I feel like that's is one's

philosophy always is like.

778

:

You can invest in products that

can help and that's amazing.

779

:

But if you're not looking to invest or

you don't have the money for it, it can

780

:

be very cost prohibitive, a lot of things.

781

:

can you find natural ways to

make it something that like,

782

:

okay, if I was traveling I can

shake out my body and do it.

783

:

And you know, you gotta, like you

were saying, even with the non-toxic

784

:

living, like you have to take

these things one day, one step,

785

:

one day at a time with all of it.

786

:

You can't just overwhelm yourself.

787

:

Take all 15 different things

and throw it in your morning.

788

:

'cause your morning will

be chaotic and it's awful.

789

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

790

:

No, totally.

791

:

Well, thanks for sharing all those.

792

:

I definitely am going to look

it up because that, that's

793

:

like pretty hard evidence.

794

:

So I've been seeing it on my Instagram.

795

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

I know.

796

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: I really wonder

like what people's experiences with it.

797

:

So it was so cool to hear.

798

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

Yeah.

799

:

Yeah,

800

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: So you guys

mentioned a little bit about like, okay,

801

:

you know, when you're buying the olive

oil, it's cold press, it's organic,

802

:

it's, you know, all these things.

803

:

And you're like, yeah, it does cost

a little bit more, but it's worth it.

804

:

So talk to me about your approach to clean

eating, because I know cost constraints

805

:

are a lot of people's, um, hesitation

when it comes to buying good food,

806

:

organic products or the healthier brands.

807

:

What's your guys' approach or philosophy

when it comes to clean eating?

808

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605: I

think even just going off of everything

809

:

we just said, when we look at our

health and everything that we have

810

:

to not have to, but get to invest

in, comes from a place of investment.

811

:

We don't look at it as.

812

:

I look at it as an exchange, right?

813

:

Like if I am investing in organic

produce, it's an exchange for

814

:

my health for the long term.

815

:

It's an exchange for a healthier future.

816

:

I either invest now or I pay later

at the doctors when I'm 60, 70, 80

817

:

years old, and I don't wanna be that.

818

:

And you know, we've, we've been around

so many people, like our grandmother

819

:

was in and outta the hospital, the

doctors, when she got older, and

820

:

we saw what that was like, I don't

wanna be in that position, not.

821

:

Dissing on that, but we were lucky

to have an example of maybe what

822

:

we don't want for our future.

823

:

And I think it can be really hard.

824

:

'cause you know, you go to the store and

it's like when I buy all the organic, or

825

:

like you said, even the healthier brands

of deodorant and skincare, they are more

826

:

expensive.

827

:

And then you go to check out

and you're like, goodness, it

828

:

would be so much cheaper if I

just didn't buy organic grapes.

829

:

Mm-hmm.

830

:

It's literally like a

$3 difference, right?

831

:

And it's like, is this really important?

832

:

But then we go back to all the

knowledge that we've learned about.

833

:

If you don't buy organic, the

pesticides, the just what that's doing

834

:

in your body, and it's a reminder

of like, I'm not wasting money.

835

:

I'm investing money.

836

:

Like, I truthfully feel like

we look at it as if I was

837

:

investing into the stock market.

838

:

Yeah.

839

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

840

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

food.

841

:

Yeah.

842

:

And with the products we buy.

843

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

844

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

I mean, it's, it's definitely not,

845

:

it's not easy, it's not cheap.

846

:

But we also know, okay, I need

to allocate more money for these

847

:

preferences that I have in terms

of the lifestyle I wanna live.

848

:

Can't spend money every

weekend going to the bar.

849

:

So I spend money here instead

into that type of situation.

850

:

And also feel like you can

approach it in a way of like, I

851

:

don't need to buy it all either.

852

:

You know what I mean?

853

:

Like you can make a lot of things at home.

854

:

Like for example, peanut butter

healthier or organic, peanut

855

:

butter is more expensive.

856

:

The jars, sometimes I go

and I'm like, this is crazy.

857

:

I can buy a bag of organic peanuts.

858

:

Roast them myself if I want to,

or just blend them in a blender.

859

:

And I feel like you, once you realize

you can do a lot yourself too,

860

:

it all, it makes it more

manageable in terms of money.

861

:

I mean, I know it's hard, it's also

very like person specific, but I get it.

862

:

It's just that like flip of the

script in your mind of, is this

863

:

worthy investment for my future?

864

:

I really have to put my

future self into perspective.

865

:

Mm-hmm.

866

:

Because you're not gonna

see the benefits right now.

867

:

Like, I think that's the hardest thing to

get over is you're spending more money,

868

:

but you're not gonna see the, the result

of that money being spent right now.

869

:

You'll see it in the future when you

are healthy, when you can pick up your

870

:

grandchildren, when you can go on 10 mile

walks like that is really where it shows.

871

:

So it's almost like putting

aside that instantly gratifying

872

:

solution and really delaying the

gratification for the long term.

873

:

Future is what I like to say.

874

:

And just making it a priority, I

feel like, which always kind of

875

:

sounds harsh because you know, I

don't know everyone's circumstances,

876

:

but really making it a priority.

877

:

Where are you spending your money?

878

:

You know, can you afford to get

your nails done this month, but you

879

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Right.

880

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

nice groceries.

881

:

I know that sounds really

harsh, but it's like

882

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: No.

883

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

to ask myself

884

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah,

885

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

If I'm getting my

886

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: I.

887

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605: done

like that is my priority over my health.

888

:

Mm-hmm.

889

:

I need to really start respecting and

honoring this body God gave me by fueling

890

:

it properly, by caring about what I put in

then rather than focusing on my physical

891

:

appearance and the external world and,

and what I wanna look like in this world.

892

:

So I just feel like really honing

in on what is your true priority and

893

:

focusing your attention there also

allows you to almost make that investment

894

:

a little bit easier when you give

yourself that hard truth, at least.

895

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah, totally.

896

:

And I think that it is an absolutely valid

question to ask because there are so many,

897

:

just like al already, like consumeristic

standards that our culture has already.

898

:

And so it's like, yeah, we're spending

a hundred bucks on yoga pants, we're

899

:

spending, you know, 80 bucks on getting

our nails done every month or hundreds

900

:

of dollars on our hair or whatever.

901

:

And so when you really ask yourself

like, okay, what are the priorities.

902

:

And view it as an investment as you're

saying, like, then you really start to

903

:

make some decisions there and it starts

to make sense why you're gonna put your

904

:

dollars there versus somewhere else.

905

:

Um, if you had to pick and choose,

one thing my dad always said was like,

906

:

you're either going to spend the money

on good food or you're going to spend

907

:

the money in medical bills later.

908

:

Like you, you pick.

909

:

And our, especially American

society, I think like really

910

:

proves that, um, given just like.

911

:

All the disease that we have in

our country, so super important.

912

:

Hopefully that's encouraging to people,

although I know it's sometimes kind

913

:

of like a, like a hard truth to hear.

914

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

Yeah, yeah, exactly.

915

:

And it doesn't make it easy,

easier knowing that too, but it's

916

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

917

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

reminding yourself and just take

918

:

it like, like we keep saying,

919

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

920

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

thing at a time.

921

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Mm-hmm.

922

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

You don't have to have the perfect

923

:

grocery hall every single time.

924

:

Take it one product at a time,

make the swap one thing at a time,

925

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

926

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

it just becomes such second nature

927

:

that becomes a non-negotiable for you.

928

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

929

:

So what about like ingredient labels?

930

:

What are some of the red flag

ingredients you guys look for on food

931

:

labels and recommend avoiding, so our

listeners can just kind of walk away

932

:

with a couple things to look for.

933

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

Yeah, I would say the number one

934

:

thing that we like see right away and

935

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: I.

936

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

product down immediately is seed oils.

937

:

I know that one's talked

about a lot, but they are just

938

:

absolutely terrible for your body.

939

:

Like there is not one

beneficial seed oil out there.

940

:

They are so high in Omega six fats, which.

941

:

Too much like your body needs

omega six fats, but when you have

942

:

too much of them, it causes an

intense amount of inflammation,

943

:

which leads to thing like diseases.

944

:

That was the leading

cause of our mom's ms.

945

:

Right?

946

:

So when we intake too much of those

fats, we're putting our body into.

947

:

Really a fight or flight mode

into inflammation mode, into just

948

:

like an unhealthy way to live.

949

:

So anytime we see those in an, in

a, on a label, just an immediately

950

:

put down, because they're highly

processed with high temperatures and

951

:

a high vat, like we don't need that.

952

:

Our mom always reminds us that

canola oils existed for car engines.

953

:

Literally she's, she's

like, this became a thing.

954

:

Forever ago to be used for car engines

and now we're putting it in our food.

955

:

Mm-hmm.

956

:

you're not digesting, that, your

body's not getting rid of that.

957

:

So that's like our number one.

958

:

And I feel like that even

started like reading labels.

959

:

It started with seed oils for us.

960

:

Yeah.

961

:

So I always say that can be a very

simple thing if you don't know

962

:

what anything else is, that's okay.

963

:

Names can be crazy on labels.

964

:

It's like, wait, what the heck is that?

965

:

If you see anything that's a

seed oil, just put it down.

966

:

That's canola oil.

967

:

Sunflower oil, safflower oil.

968

:

Peanut oil.

969

:

Soybean oil.

970

:

Yeah.

971

:

So try and stick to

avocado, oil, vegetable.

972

:

Yeah, that's bad.

973

:

Um, so try and stick to avocado oil

or extra virgin olive oil, coconut

974

:

oil, beef towel, things like that.

975

:

In,

976

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah.

977

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

the better are definitely much better.

978

:

And a lot of people will say that

those are higher in calories or higher

979

:

in fats, but they're fats that your

body wants is what I always say.

980

:

Mm-hmm.

981

:

You can't really pay attention.

982

:

It's, it's more important to

drop the weight of calories.

983

:

Like if you're, if you're,

you know what I mean?

984

:

Like, if you're, okay, I want a lower

calorie item, but it's worse ingredients,

985

:

what's the, what's even the benefit there?

986

:

Mm-hmm.

987

:

mcw_2_04-14-2026_110606: Yeah,

988

:

squadcaster-b37c_2_04-14-2026_130605:

more calories for better ingredients

989

:

because that's, that's more optimal

for my health and my body's function.

990

:

So I always stand by that too.

991

:

I would say another ingredient is.

992

:

Artificial.

993

:

No, not artificial flavors.

994

:

What is it?

995

:

Yeah, food dies.

996

:

Food dies.

997

:

Food dies.

998

:

gonna say artificial

flavors, those are bad too.

999

:

Um, but food dies really just because

that is pretty much in everything.

:

00:36:01,744 --> 00:36:01,964

-:

:

00:36:02,034 --> 00:36:04,734

-:

Yellow five, red 40, blue 40, all

:

00:36:04,734 --> 00:36:08,874

these dyes that are think of it as

like a chemical bomb for your stomach.

:

00:36:08,874 --> 00:36:08,934

So.

:

00:36:10,419 --> 00:36:13,659

A food could be healthy and then it has

that die, it's immediately unhealthy,

:

00:36:13,659 --> 00:36:15,339

like it's just really bad for you.

:

00:36:15,579 --> 00:36:18,999

Um, they, they also have like a ton of

side effects on your brain and mental

:

00:36:18,999 --> 00:36:21,639

health in children, especially, I

say especially in children, like

:

00:36:21,639 --> 00:36:23,169

you see children eating Skittles

:

00:36:23,319 --> 00:36:25,549

and there'll be, uh, one, like one kid.

:

00:36:26,289 --> 00:36:29,049

Before then they eat the Skittles and

they're like a completely different child.

:

00:36:29,139 --> 00:36:29,289

And

:

00:36:29,349 --> 00:36:29,769

-:

:

00:36:29,829 --> 00:36:30,789

-:

food dyes are sending

:

00:36:30,789 --> 00:36:32,169

them in a complete spiral.

:

00:36:32,169 --> 00:36:34,479

Their brain doesn't even

know how to comprehend it.

:

00:36:34,479 --> 00:36:35,709

Their body can't function.

:

00:36:35,859 --> 00:36:37,329

So it's really scary.

:

00:36:37,329 --> 00:36:39,699

Like food dyes are, are

genuinely really scary.

:

00:36:39,699 --> 00:36:42,819

And they're so easy to avoid because

there's a lot of things out there that you

:

00:36:42,819 --> 00:36:46,209

just don't need it colored, you know, like

you don't need colored icing on your cake.

:

00:36:46,419 --> 00:36:49,929

Just have white, just have a,

a classic, um, buttercream.

:

00:36:50,109 --> 00:36:52,809

Um, and there's also things like

spirulina or even just like.

:

00:36:53,094 --> 00:36:56,034

Freeze dried strawberries that

people use to color stuff these days.

:

00:36:56,044 --> 00:36:56,304

So there's

:

00:36:56,344 --> 00:36:56,634

-:

:

00:36:56,634 --> 00:36:58,104

-:

lot of alternatives out there for

:

00:36:58,104 --> 00:36:58,374

that.

:

00:36:58,374 --> 00:37:02,804

Um, I even feel like there, this is

becoming, like with RFK, I feel like food

:

00:37:03,104 --> 00:37:03,524

-:

:

00:37:03,564 --> 00:37:05,154

-:

number one thing he tackled.

:

00:37:05,214 --> 00:37:09,924

So I'm seeing so many movements even in

big brands that do use them, like not

:

00:37:09,924 --> 00:37:11,454

putting it in their cereals anymore.

:

00:37:11,454 --> 00:37:12,954

And it's really cool to see that.

:

00:37:13,134 --> 00:37:15,309

So now I feel like we're finally making.

:

00:37:15,609 --> 00:37:15,884

-:

:

00:37:16,184 --> 00:37:17,469

-:

good strides in this area.

:

00:37:17,469 --> 00:37:17,559

Mm-hmm.

:

00:37:17,799 --> 00:37:20,349

And you know, like the other day we

were using sprinkles for one of our

:

00:37:20,349 --> 00:37:23,769

Easter traditions of decorating these,

you know, Easter dolls that we make.

:

00:37:24,129 --> 00:37:28,269

And we got ones from Whole Foods that they

were, the green ones had spirulina and the

:

00:37:28,269 --> 00:37:30,579

red ones had like, red, had beet powder.

:

00:37:30,579 --> 00:37:31,539

And you don't taste it at all.

:

00:37:31,569 --> 00:37:32,379

It tastes like a sprinkle.

:

00:37:32,379 --> 00:37:33,699

They're so sugar in it.

:

00:37:33,969 --> 00:37:35,529

But it was looked just as beautiful.

:

00:37:35,529 --> 00:37:39,579

And I feel like, like as well said, when

you realize that there are alternatives,

:

00:37:39,579 --> 00:37:43,269

it's just, make the alternative, try

and make the switch where you can.

:

00:37:43,989 --> 00:37:49,269

One more ingredient I wanna call out

is Caran, just because that is a really

:

00:37:49,269 --> 00:37:53,769

gut disturbing ingredient that is

actually in a lot of healthy foods.

:

00:37:53,769 --> 00:37:57,339

So like it's probably in your milk, it's

probably in your cream cheese or your

:

00:37:57,339 --> 00:37:59,329

butter because it's an emulsifier it.

:

00:38:00,699 --> 00:38:02,769

Elongates shelf life

for a lot of products.

:

00:38:02,769 --> 00:38:06,039

So, you know, your milk doesn't go

bad because it has that carine in it.

:

00:38:06,279 --> 00:38:09,729

Versus if you're drinking an A two

a two whole milk that's low temp

:

00:38:09,729 --> 00:38:12,429

pasteurized, it's not gonna have that,

which means it's probably gonna spoil

:

00:38:12,429 --> 00:38:14,169

a little bit quicker in your fridge.

:

00:38:14,169 --> 00:38:15,159

So you have to consume it.

:

00:38:15,159 --> 00:38:16,329

And, and people don't like doing that.

:

00:38:16,329 --> 00:38:19,179

You know, they wanna buy milk for

two weeks and have it last, but it,

:

00:38:19,239 --> 00:38:24,159

it has that carne in it that is just

a really gut disrupting chemical

:

00:38:24,249 --> 00:38:25,239

that you're putting into your body.

:

00:38:25,239 --> 00:38:26,979

And like anytime you disrupt your gut.

:

00:38:27,009 --> 00:38:30,279

If your gut is directly linked to

your brain, so if your gut health is

:

00:38:30,279 --> 00:38:32,749

bad, your brain health is bad, and

I think a lot of times people think.

:

00:38:33,474 --> 00:38:36,744

is a little bit of a side tangent, but

you know, they think their anxiety or

:

00:38:36,744 --> 00:38:40,464

their depression or you know, their

stress levels, they think it comes from

:

00:38:40,644 --> 00:38:44,754

the things happening in their life, but

it's really enabled by their gut health

:

00:38:44,754 --> 00:38:49,014

because they're handling the things of

this world a lot worse because of the

:

00:38:49,014 --> 00:38:51,714

ingredients that they're putting into

their body that are actually affecting

:

00:38:51,894 --> 00:38:53,784

how their brain responds to things.

:

00:38:53,904 --> 00:38:57,264

And it's things like car

milk, in our butter, that.

:

00:38:57,764 --> 00:39:01,304

You know, disturbs our gut and allows us

to react in a negative way, to see the

:

00:39:01,304 --> 00:39:05,564

bad, to focus on the depressing aspects

of life instead of seeing the good, which

:

00:39:05,564 --> 00:39:08,624

I know sounds so crazy, but if you look

it up in a textbook, they're directly

:

00:39:08,624 --> 00:39:09,944

connected, your brain and your gut.

:

00:39:09,944 --> 00:39:10,034

Mm-hmm.

:

00:39:10,274 --> 00:39:12,734

So it's like the number one thing to

take care of is your gut, and that's

:

00:39:12,734 --> 00:39:16,634

why all the ingredients matter,

because your gut stems from what

:

00:39:16,634 --> 00:39:17,564

you're putting into it, obviously.

:

00:39:17,564 --> 00:39:17,654

Mm-hmm.

:

00:39:17,894 --> 00:39:20,714

So you wanna make sure you're

prioritizing that health above any other

:

00:39:20,714 --> 00:39:22,034

health healthy aspect of your body.

:

00:39:22,794 --> 00:39:25,944

just the number one thing when

you're in the grocery store, we can't

:

00:39:25,944 --> 00:39:27,324

trust these food brands like you.

:

00:39:27,324 --> 00:39:30,924

Really, even some of the healthier

ones, you know, they switch up

:

00:39:30,924 --> 00:39:32,304

once they get big and we've.

:

00:39:32,679 --> 00:39:36,189

Come across brands that we were using,

and then all of a sudden they changed

:

00:39:36,189 --> 00:39:40,539

from extra virgin olive oil to a seed oil

because it's more cost prohibitive for

:

00:39:40,559 --> 00:39:40,909

-:

:

00:39:41,209 --> 00:39:43,269

-:

just remember, you can't trust anything.

:

00:39:43,299 --> 00:39:44,949

Just flip it over and read it.

:

00:39:45,069 --> 00:39:45,189

Mm-hmm.

:

00:39:45,609 --> 00:39:47,409

You might spend more time

in the grocery store.

:

00:39:47,409 --> 00:39:51,099

We, in the beginning, we, I felt like I

was there for hours reading every labels.

:

00:39:51,099 --> 00:39:52,569

I felt like an insane person.

:

00:39:52,809 --> 00:39:54,939

Now it's just such second nature.

:

00:39:55,089 --> 00:39:56,469

Also like stick to the perimeters.

:

00:39:56,469 --> 00:39:59,619

Nine times outta 10, you won't even have

a label to read, which is beautiful.

:

00:39:59,859 --> 00:40:01,449

But if you're gonna read a label.

:

00:40:02,649 --> 00:40:07,359

just those three things are definitely

the, I feel like our biggest immediate,

:

00:40:07,359 --> 00:40:09,129

I don't even read the rest of the label.

:

00:40:09,129 --> 00:40:11,259

I immediately put it down

if I see any of those.

:

00:40:12,174 --> 00:40:12,624

-:

:

00:40:12,669 --> 00:40:14,529

-:

do have a post on our, on our Instagram

:

00:40:14,529 --> 00:40:17,859

too, just of like other ingredients that

we, I feel like we could touch on it for

:

00:40:17,859 --> 00:40:20,739

like hours, so I'm like, if you guys need

more reference from it, we post a lot

:

00:40:20,739 --> 00:40:22,089

of that stuff on our Instagram as well.

:

00:40:22,779 --> 00:40:23,379

-:

:

00:40:23,559 --> 00:40:25,479

That was such good insight you guys.

:

00:40:25,479 --> 00:40:28,899

Thank you for sharing

like such helpful things.

:

00:40:28,899 --> 00:40:30,339

I love the little call out there.

:

00:40:30,339 --> 00:40:34,599

Stay on the perimeter of the grocery store

and you'll be a little bit safer there.

:

00:40:34,599 --> 00:40:36,039

That's so, that's so true.

:

00:40:36,369 --> 00:40:38,229

And then even just those

couple ingredients.

:

00:40:39,219 --> 00:40:42,669

Hearing you guys say that, I'm like,

that is so easy because those are

:

00:40:42,669 --> 00:40:45,729

so widely used in so many products.

:

00:40:45,729 --> 00:40:49,059

And so I mean it, it's gonna suck

at first because you're gonna turn

:

00:40:49,059 --> 00:40:52,869

every product over that you probably

already know and eat and love,

:

00:40:52,922 --> 00:40:54,159

and you're gonna be like, shoot.

:

00:40:54,459 --> 00:40:58,059

But what it does is that it helps

you start to learn how much is

:

00:40:58,059 --> 00:41:00,639

actually canceled out instead of.

:

00:41:00,694 --> 00:41:04,714

Like looking for something that's like

hard to find and it kind of just reminds

:

00:41:04,714 --> 00:41:07,594

me like when it comes to non-toxic

products, like for your home and for

:

00:41:07,594 --> 00:41:10,534

your body, like personal care products,

my number one thing is fragrance.

:

00:41:10,534 --> 00:41:12,814

Like if it says fragrance, don't use it.

:

00:41:12,814 --> 00:41:17,884

And 99% of things, I swear that we

all used to have in our house, but

:

00:41:17,884 --> 00:41:20,584

that fragrance in it, and so it

just makes it a really easy thing.

:

00:41:20,664 --> 00:41:22,114

-:

like the candle queen,

:

00:41:22,414 --> 00:41:22,774

-:

:

00:41:22,859 --> 00:41:22,979

-:

:

00:41:23,074 --> 00:41:23,644

-:

:

00:41:23,664 --> 00:41:25,974

-:

candle queen over here, I,

:

00:41:25,974 --> 00:41:27,594

and I had to sacrifice it.

:

00:41:27,664 --> 00:41:28,474

-:

:

00:41:28,554 --> 00:41:28,974

-:

was so

:

00:41:28,989 --> 00:41:29,189

-:

:

00:41:29,544 --> 00:41:30,234

-:

to put down.

:

00:41:30,234 --> 00:41:30,834

But once I read

:

00:41:30,834 --> 00:41:31,284

-:

:

00:41:31,464 --> 00:41:32,064

-:

I was like, get

:

00:41:32,124 --> 00:41:32,664

-:

:

00:41:32,699 --> 00:41:33,264

-:

here, outta here.

:

00:41:33,264 --> 00:41:35,574

Now if we smell a candle,

I get an instant headache

:

00:41:35,934 --> 00:41:36,684

-:

:

00:41:36,804 --> 00:41:37,374

-:

wild.

:

00:41:37,379 --> 00:41:37,459

Mm-hmm.

:

00:41:38,124 --> 00:41:39,714

-:

non-toxic candles are a little bit

:

00:41:39,714 --> 00:41:44,214

more expensive, so I, I used to

love candles too, and I very slowly

:

00:41:44,214 --> 00:41:45,984

invest in non-toxic candles now

:

00:41:46,204 --> 00:41:46,419

-:

Yeah.

:

00:41:46,419 --> 00:41:46,854

-:

:

00:41:46,989 --> 00:41:48,459

-:

we don't burn them as often.

:

00:41:48,459 --> 00:41:50,619

We definitely pull back

from light in that wick.

:

00:41:50,654 --> 00:41:50,874

Yes.

:

00:41:51,174 --> 00:41:51,654

-:

:

00:41:51,654 --> 00:41:52,344

Exactly.

:

00:41:52,674 --> 00:41:53,484

Well, okay.

:

00:41:53,484 --> 00:41:57,444

One thing I kind of just wanna wrap

up our conversation with is just a

:

00:41:57,444 --> 00:42:02,784

conversation about discipline, because

in the end, making all these decisions

:

00:42:02,784 --> 00:42:04,314

and changing your lifestyle takes.

:

00:42:05,079 --> 00:42:08,979

Discipline and I was, I was

looking through your guys' content.

:

00:42:08,979 --> 00:42:14,379

I feel like that, uh, virtue just kind

of is a theme in what you guys are doing.

:

00:42:14,379 --> 00:42:17,529

Whether you outwardly try to put it

out there or not, it comes across

:

00:42:17,529 --> 00:42:19,599

very well and it's very inspiring.

:

00:42:19,599 --> 00:42:24,789

So what do you guys have to share about,

like, how do you build up discipline?

:

00:42:24,969 --> 00:42:27,339

'cause it's something that a

lot of people struggle with.

:

00:42:27,774 --> 00:42:28,194

-:

:

00:42:28,614 --> 00:42:29,664

Uh, first of all, thank you.

:

00:42:29,754 --> 00:42:30,504

Yeah, I appreciate that.

:

00:42:30,504 --> 00:42:32,034

I'm very happy that that comes across and.

:

00:42:33,144 --> 00:42:37,224

Because it's so naturally in our life,

it naturally comes out in our content,

:

00:42:37,524 --> 00:42:37,814

-:

:

00:42:38,114 --> 00:42:40,404

-:

but it was not always that way.

:

00:42:40,404 --> 00:42:44,034

I think some people think, oh, I

just need to be disciplined and

:

00:42:44,034 --> 00:42:45,474

then everything will be okay.

:

00:42:45,924 --> 00:42:49,974

Discipline is a constant decision

that you make every single day.

:

00:42:50,334 --> 00:42:51,624

It's not an easy decision.

:

00:42:51,684 --> 00:42:55,074

Nine times outta 10, it doesn't

matter how much I work out.

:

00:42:55,074 --> 00:42:56,879

There are still mornings

where I wake up and I'm like.

:

00:42:58,149 --> 00:43:01,449

I really don't feel like doing it, but

I know it's gonna be better in the end.

:

00:43:01,449 --> 00:43:05,019

I never regret a workout, but it

takes a lot for me to get outta bed

:

00:43:05,019 --> 00:43:06,549

sometimes and be able to wanna do that.

:

00:43:06,549 --> 00:43:11,049

It takes that discipline, but is one, I

always say we feel our most confident.

:

00:43:11,049 --> 00:43:15,219

We feel our best in our bodies,

in our mind, just in life when we

:

00:43:15,219 --> 00:43:16,989

are disciplined because we know.

:

00:43:17,619 --> 00:43:19,869

It's translating to all these other areas.

:

00:43:19,869 --> 00:43:24,934

So it's not just being disciplined in

the gym, it's what does that bleed into?

:

00:43:25,047 --> 00:43:25,254

Mm-hmm.

:

00:43:25,334 --> 00:43:29,319

And that when I am working out and

I'm taking care of my body physically,

:

00:43:29,529 --> 00:43:30,969

well, I want to eat healthy too.

:

00:43:30,969 --> 00:43:34,629

And then when I'm eating healthy,

I want to, it just translates,

:

00:43:34,629 --> 00:43:35,499

oh, I wanna be more active.

:

00:43:35,499 --> 00:43:37,269

And then I'm, all of a sudden

I'm paying attention to the

:

00:43:37,269 --> 00:43:39,459

products I'm putting on my body.

:

00:43:39,489 --> 00:43:42,159

'cause I'm like, well, why would I wear

perfume or, and light these candles

:

00:43:42,159 --> 00:43:45,339

if I'm buying the non-organic grapes?

:

00:43:45,339 --> 00:43:46,689

Like what it, it feels.

:

00:43:47,394 --> 00:43:48,084

Counterintuitive.

:

00:43:48,084 --> 00:43:49,524

I'm like, it doesn't

make sense to do this.

:

00:43:49,524 --> 00:43:52,614

So I feel like we just start

in one area and then it,

:

00:43:52,614 --> 00:43:54,684

because it impacts everything.

:

00:43:54,684 --> 00:43:56,334

Like then it impacts our faith and

:

00:43:56,814 --> 00:43:58,404

going on a prayer walk every day.

:

00:43:58,404 --> 00:44:00,954

There's a lot of times when I don't

feel like praying when I put my

:

00:44:00,954 --> 00:44:03,594

head on the pillow at night and

I'm like, oh, I didn't, I didn't

:

00:44:03,594 --> 00:44:05,244

like, have my long in-depth prayer.

:

00:44:05,244 --> 00:44:07,404

And I'm like, discipline.

:

00:44:07,404 --> 00:44:08,979

Discipline needs to kick in right now,

:

00:44:09,279 --> 00:44:09,519

-:

:

00:44:09,624 --> 00:44:10,704

-:

a five minute prayer.

:

00:44:11,094 --> 00:44:12,444

You won't regret praying to God.

:

00:44:12,444 --> 00:44:14,064

You won't regret this

conversation with him.

:

00:44:14,064 --> 00:44:14,874

So just do it.

:

00:44:14,874 --> 00:44:15,744

And you know what?

:

00:44:15,804 --> 00:44:19,224

I even hate saying that sometimes, that

sometimes I don't wanna do it, but it

:

00:44:19,419 --> 00:44:19,509

-:

:

00:44:19,734 --> 00:44:20,454

-:

I'm only human.

:

00:44:20,454 --> 00:44:20,994

I'm tired.

:

00:44:20,994 --> 00:44:21,804

I wanna go to bed.

:

00:44:23,019 --> 00:44:24,429

it takes five minutes.

:

00:44:24,429 --> 00:44:25,869

It doesn't even, it could take one minute.

:

00:44:25,869 --> 00:44:29,259

And I just feel like you need to

get in the habit of making the hard

:

00:44:29,259 --> 00:44:31,179

decision to make your life easier.

:

00:44:31,239 --> 00:44:31,764

Yeah, and

:

00:44:31,789 --> 00:44:31,909

-:

:

00:44:32,019 --> 00:44:33,279

-:

and one thing I would really add

:

00:44:33,279 --> 00:44:37,089

to that is I think it's really

important to have a strong why

:

00:44:37,119 --> 00:44:39,519

behind why you're being disciplined.

:

00:44:39,699 --> 00:44:40,124

Like if you are.

:

00:44:40,934 --> 00:44:44,534

You wanna start being disciplined with the

gym and you want to go, but your why is I

:

00:44:44,534 --> 00:44:46,184

wanna look good in a bikini this summer.

:

00:44:46,364 --> 00:44:46,994

I dunno about you.

:

00:44:46,994 --> 00:44:48,134

That's not strong enough for me.

:

00:44:48,164 --> 00:44:50,294

That's not a reason that's gonna

get me out of the door in the

:

00:44:50,294 --> 00:44:52,784

morning when I hinge my why on God.

:

00:44:52,784 --> 00:44:54,914

And I say, you know, God gave

me this temple of a body.

:

00:44:55,779 --> 00:44:57,699

give it to me to sit

and sit still all day.

:

00:44:57,759 --> 00:45:00,669

He gave it to me to go move to

fuel properly to take care of.

:

00:45:00,849 --> 00:45:03,609

That's a really strong why for me

because I don't wanna let God down.

:

00:45:03,609 --> 00:45:06,429

So you know, I'm getting my butt out

of the door that morning and I'm going

:

00:45:06,429 --> 00:45:07,924

to the gym and I'm going on that walk.

:

00:45:07,959 --> 00:45:11,949

So I just feel like

establishing a true, real why.

:

00:45:11,949 --> 00:45:14,019

Maybe your why is you do

wanna lose a few pounds.

:

00:45:14,019 --> 00:45:16,449

I'm not not judging you for

that, of course, but you just

:

00:45:16,449 --> 00:45:17,509

need to make sure your why is.

:

00:45:17,979 --> 00:45:21,909

True and accurate, and you're being honest

with yourself about it, and you remind

:

00:45:21,909 --> 00:45:25,209

yourself of that on the mornings that you

don't wanna be disciplined in any moment,

:

00:45:25,209 --> 00:45:26,319

that you don't wanna be disciplined.

:

00:45:26,619 --> 00:45:28,329

I always like to say the

devil hates discipline.

:

00:45:28,509 --> 00:45:31,959

Like he hates discipline because

it's, it's you pushing yourself

:

00:45:31,959 --> 00:45:35,349

past this instantly gratifying

option and choosing the hard road.

:

00:45:35,349 --> 00:45:39,039

And the hard road always pays

off hard now, easy later.

:

00:45:39,159 --> 00:45:42,369

And I just remind myself of that in every

single difficult moment because it's

:

00:45:42,369 --> 00:45:43,719

what gets me through the door and it's.

:

00:45:44,124 --> 00:45:45,444

Ultimately so rewarding.

:

00:45:45,444 --> 00:45:46,854

Like it feels so good when

:

00:45:46,939 --> 00:45:47,229

-:

:

00:45:47,874 --> 00:45:48,684

-:

that you didn't wanna do.

:

00:45:48,684 --> 00:45:50,004

It feels so good when you do something.

:

00:45:50,009 --> 00:45:50,994

That's how you build confidence.

:

00:45:50,994 --> 00:45:53,634

Yeah, it's, it's so hard, but it's

like there's so much beauty in how

:

00:45:53,634 --> 00:45:55,284

hard it is and then achieving it's.

:

00:45:56,019 --> 00:45:57,789

feel on top of the

world, you feel amazing.

:

00:45:57,789 --> 00:46:00,759

You're like, thank you, God, for giving

me the ability and the discipline

:

00:46:00,759 --> 00:46:02,409

and the perseverance to do this.

:

00:46:02,529 --> 00:46:05,912

So it's something you actually, it

may be really hard in the beginning

:

00:46:06,129 --> 00:46:07,359

to start practicing discipline.

:

00:46:07,359 --> 00:46:08,439

Like I don't think it's gonna be easy.

:

00:46:08,439 --> 00:46:10,689

I think people are just like, I

wanna be disciplined, and they

:

00:46:10,689 --> 00:46:11,979

expect it to come naturally.

:

00:46:12,069 --> 00:46:13,449

It's gonna be really

hard in the beginning.

:

00:46:13,449 --> 00:46:17,799

It's gonna stink, but eventually,

after repetition and repetition, you're

:

00:46:17,799 --> 00:46:20,649

gonna look forward to being disciplined

because you're gonna associate it with.

:

00:46:20,959 --> 00:46:23,479

Feeling your best and showing

up when you don't wanna show up.

:

00:46:23,479 --> 00:46:26,449

And that's a really good feeling,

and it's what I remind myself of.

:

00:46:27,594 --> 00:46:27,924

-:

:

00:46:27,984 --> 00:46:28,644

That's so good.

:

00:46:28,644 --> 00:46:32,334

I love that you were saying like choose

a hard thing now because it makes your

:

00:46:32,334 --> 00:46:34,614

life easier or it makes your life better.

:

00:46:34,794 --> 00:46:36,714

And I think that is the key to discipline.

:

00:46:36,714 --> 00:46:41,004

Like choosing discipline in the

moment feels sucky, but what feels

:

00:46:41,004 --> 00:46:42,954

more sucky is not choosing it.

:

00:46:43,044 --> 00:46:47,754

Like when you give into that like sloth or

when you give into the like, I just don't

:

00:46:47,754 --> 00:46:49,374

feel like it, or it's just like too hard.

:

00:46:49,734 --> 00:46:52,554

You don't walk away feeling proud

of yourself for not choosing it.

:

00:46:52,674 --> 00:46:54,024

-:

you like beat yourself up all day.

:

00:46:54,024 --> 00:46:55,584

It's, it's that feeling.

:

00:46:55,884 --> 00:46:59,214

I dread that more than getting up out

of bed in the morning to my alarm.

:

00:46:59,214 --> 00:46:59,484

Like

:

00:46:59,679 --> 00:47:00,159

-:

:

00:47:00,234 --> 00:47:01,554

-:

I have to put myself sometimes

:

00:47:01,554 --> 00:47:04,794

in those shoes of what is my

future self and my future.

:

00:47:05,104 --> 00:47:05,324

-:

:

00:47:05,364 --> 00:47:06,774

-:

just myself an hour from

:

00:47:06,774 --> 00:47:07,134

now.

:

00:47:07,539 --> 00:47:11,049

Going to be saying to this girl that's

still in bed, that's snoozing her alarm.

:

00:47:11,049 --> 00:47:14,199

Like, I, I keep using that

example 'cause that's when is the

:

00:47:14,504 --> 00:47:16,084

-:

what's hardest for me too.

:

00:47:16,239 --> 00:47:16,719

-:

yeah.

:

00:47:16,719 --> 00:47:18,159

And it's like the classic, like snooze.

:

00:47:18,159 --> 00:47:19,059

I'll do it later.

:

00:47:19,059 --> 00:47:20,229

I, I'll just skip today.

:

00:47:20,229 --> 00:47:21,699

Whatever it is that, whatever

:

00:47:21,699 --> 00:47:25,359

that voice is telling you, it's

like I really have to ask myself.

:

00:47:26,019 --> 00:47:27,999

What did I tell myself last

night before going to bed?

:

00:47:27,999 --> 00:47:31,299

And what is my future self going

to say to this version of me?

:

00:47:31,569 --> 00:47:33,539

And I wanna make that future

version of myself proud.

:

00:47:33,669 --> 00:47:35,529

I wanna start showing up as her more.

:

00:47:35,859 --> 00:47:38,319

You're not going to achieve all

these different goals and these,

:

00:47:38,649 --> 00:47:41,619

you know, you're not going to live

in accordance with God's plan for

:

00:47:41,619 --> 00:47:44,589

you if you're staying that person.

:

00:47:44,589 --> 00:47:47,859

That denies discipline, that denies

yourself, the confidence in all of

:

00:47:47,994 --> 00:47:48,324

-:

:

00:47:48,399 --> 00:47:49,629

-:

like it's hard.

:

00:47:49,629 --> 00:47:51,909

It's about having these hard

conversations with yourself.

:

00:47:52,759 --> 00:47:56,124

okay if you're not like mean to yourself,

but in a way of like, no, I need to

:

00:47:56,244 --> 00:47:56,754

-:

:

00:47:56,964 --> 00:47:58,074

-:

a little tough conversation.

:

00:47:58,074 --> 00:47:58,134

Yeah.

:

00:47:58,164 --> 00:48:01,404

Tough love right now to get my

butt out of bed and that's okay.

:

00:48:01,404 --> 00:48:05,304

I feel like people, when we're too

soft with ourselves, we tend to

:

00:48:05,304 --> 00:48:07,884

really fall back and it's like you're

allowed to give yourself tough love

:

00:48:07,884 --> 00:48:12,294

because the love will grow so much when

you do give yourself that tough love.

:

00:48:12,294 --> 00:48:13,314

Mm-hmm.

:

00:48:13,344 --> 00:48:13,614

So I

:

00:48:13,614 --> 00:48:14,574

-:

That was beautifully said.

:

00:48:14,574 --> 00:48:16,164

-:

approach and it's never easy.

:

00:48:16,164 --> 00:48:18,444

It's always hard, but think

about your future self.

:

00:48:18,729 --> 00:48:22,029

Think about who God is calling you to

be and it's hard to deny yourself that

:

00:48:22,029 --> 00:48:23,619

when you put that into perspective.

:

00:48:24,219 --> 00:48:28,449

-:

and on that note, I hope everybody has a

:

00:48:28,569 --> 00:48:30,804

fire lit in their butt right now and has.

:

00:48:31,869 --> 00:48:36,969

Encouragement to get after their

goals, whether that be health or food

:

00:48:36,969 --> 00:48:40,689

or spiritual, whatever it is that

you feel like is on your heart, that

:

00:48:40,689 --> 00:48:43,749

you're like, gosh, like the Lord's

calling me to grow in this area, but

:

00:48:43,749 --> 00:48:45,279

it's just hard for me to choose it.

:

00:48:45,279 --> 00:48:47,769

I hope this conversation was

just that extra nudge that

:

00:48:47,769 --> 00:48:49,479

you needed to get after it.

:

00:48:49,479 --> 00:48:51,639

So thank you so much

for coming on you guys.

:

00:48:51,639 --> 00:48:54,489

Where can we find more of

you guys and your content?

:

00:48:55,454 --> 00:48:57,104

-:

So you can follow us at

:

00:48:57,104 --> 00:48:59,174

everything Kraus on Instagram.

:

00:48:59,174 --> 00:49:01,994

That is, I would say our primary,

like primary, what is it?

:

00:49:01,994 --> 00:49:02,654

What's the word?

:

00:49:03,344 --> 00:49:03,764

Source?

:

00:49:03,764 --> 00:49:03,944

I don't know.

:

00:49:04,034 --> 00:49:04,814

Yeah, primary source.

:

00:49:05,084 --> 00:49:06,974

Um, where you can find most of our page.

:

00:49:06,974 --> 00:49:09,569

We also have a podcast called

the No Sugar Podcast, which.

:

00:49:10,464 --> 00:49:12,414

it is not about not eating sugar.

:

00:49:12,414 --> 00:49:13,944

It is about no sugarcoating.

:

00:49:14,154 --> 00:49:18,504

And really having real raw conversations

and sharing these hard truths that you

:

00:49:18,504 --> 00:49:21,024

may need to, to hear in order to grow.

:

00:49:21,024 --> 00:49:22,974

That's what the main

purpose of the podcast is.

:

00:49:23,154 --> 00:49:24,684

Um, and then Kari's Fitness Page.

:

00:49:24,864 --> 00:49:28,404

Fitness page is at sculpted with

Kari, and that is where she posts all

:

00:49:28,404 --> 00:49:30,114

of our, mainly our fitness content.

:

00:49:30,114 --> 00:49:32,364

So I would say those are

our three big platforms.

:

00:49:32,424 --> 00:49:32,814

Um.

:

00:49:33,579 --> 00:49:37,269

at Kraus and at Isabelle Kraus are

our personal handle handles, which

:

00:49:37,269 --> 00:49:39,999

we're growing, like little personal

brands trying to live out this mission

:

00:49:39,999 --> 00:49:43,419

and also our daily lives, and kind of

showcasing that to the world as well.

:

00:49:44,139 --> 00:49:46,089

thing about us is we have

a lot of Instagram pages.

:

00:49:47,754 --> 00:49:48,234

-:

:

00:49:48,294 --> 00:49:51,174

Well, we'll make sure to link them

all in the show notes so y'all

:

00:49:51,174 --> 00:49:52,674

don't have to memorize all of that.

:

00:49:52,674 --> 00:49:55,404

You can just go and click it

and get more of these girls,

:

00:49:55,404 --> 00:49:56,964

because they were so amazing.

:

00:49:56,964 --> 00:49:57,894

Thanks so much you guys.

:

00:49:59,109 --> 00:49:59,824

-:

Thank you much.

:

00:49:59,824 --> 00:50:00,699

Thank you, Molly, for having us.

:

00:50:00,699 --> 00:50:03,789

Seriously, this was so fun and it

has been a pleasure to chat with you.

:

00:50:03,789 --> 00:50:05,229

I feel like I could talk to you for hours.

:

00:50:05,229 --> 00:50:05,349

Really.

:

00:50:05,439 --> 00:50:07,659

So this has been literally

the best day ever.

:

00:50:08,244 --> 00:50:09,084

-:

:

00:50:09,084 --> 00:50:10,044

Where do you guys live?

:

00:50:10,779 --> 00:50:12,639

-:

Um, we live like 45 minutes outside

:

00:50:12,639 --> 00:50:14,259

of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania.

:

00:50:14,559 --> 00:50:15,264

-:

:

00:50:15,294 --> 00:50:15,624

Okay.

:

00:50:15,624 --> 00:50:19,854

Well I'm, I'm not over there

very much, but next time I am, we

:

00:50:19,854 --> 00:50:21,684

definitely gotta set up a coffee date.

:

00:50:22,029 --> 00:50:22,929

-:

Yes, for sure.

:

00:50:22,934 --> 00:50:23,114

Definitely.

:

00:50:23,821 --> 00:50:24,091

-:

:

00:50:24,091 --> 00:50:24,481

Awesome.
