The resemblance no doubt is due to the fact that they have so very much in common. Any man of us frequently has seen a woman turn in to a beast or a good facsimile thereof at any provocation. But there is only one man of my experience that saw a beast turn in to a woman. He was a French man by the name of Gaston Monet.

Lorna opened her kitchen door and called to her husband but then found him murdered, dead sprawled across the matting on the floor with a peculiar carved Corsican knife thrust into his heart and the blood that poured from that wound caused more blood to spill in the hills of Corsica.
