If you keep repeating the same money patterns, it may not be a discipline problem. It may be your nervous system.
In this episode, I’m exploring how subconscious beliefs, nervous-system patterns, and the people around you shape how you earn, spend, receive, and hold wealth. After more than 20 years of doing this work, and through my own experience paying off more than $70,000 in debt while scaling a multiple six-figure business, I’ve seen just how deeply our relationship with money can be wired into us.
I’ll walk you through how your subconscious mind and reticular activating system, or RAS, can reinforce old beliefs about what is possible for you. When your brain constantly looks for evidence that money is scarce, difficult, or “for other people,” you may miss opportunities already sitting right in front of you.
We’ll also look at the nervous system’s role in your money patterns through four common archetypes: the Hoarder, the Rebel, the Avoider, and the Over-Giver. These patterns can influence how you save, spend, avoid, undercharge, over-give, or react to financial stress.
But awareness is only the beginning. Lasting change takes both a meaningful shift and a consistent rhythm that lets a new pattern take root. That’s exactly why I created Rooted in Wealth, a 90-day experience designed to help you shift scarcity beliefs, create more safety around money, and build habits that support a new financial identity.
And finally, we’re talking about one of the most overlooked parts of wealth creation: your environment. The people you spend time with help shape what feels normal, possible, and available to you. When you enter spaces where meaningful wealth, creativity, purpose, and possibility are part of the conversation, your own sense of what is possible begins to expand too.
If “I can’t afford it” has been making decisions about your business, your art, your healing work, your community, or the dreams sitting on your heart, this episode is an invitation to look beneath that story and begin writing a new one.
