Hello, I’m Earnest Mann! This episode is all about examining how political debates often miss the real concerns of the average American. From unemployment to the high cost of food and housing, we tackle what really matters. I also explore why presidential debates are more about political theater than addressing serious issues.
I started by showing a news clip from a presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. At first glance, it seemed like a standard political discourse, but my aim was to reveal how it is nothing more than distraction. They discuss topics like immigration, abortion, and foreign policy, yet ignore the pressing concerns: jobs, food prices, and affordable housing.
While politicians bicker over hot-button issues, I ask: Why aren't they talking about the things that matter to everyday Americans, like job security, the ability to afford groceries, or even just owning a home without fear of losing it to the bank?
I highlight that both Trump and Harris seem more interested in political posturing than offering real solutions. Harris leans on her "middle-class background," but does that really resonate with voters? Meanwhile, Trump's approach, while brash, is at least consistent—if you’re going to get messed over, at least he’s upfront about it.

I'm a deep thinking contrarian, a very pragmatic idiocythrope. I believe that function determines desirability and legitimacy. I don't like the superficial and/or pretentious, nor the shallow. I speak the truth as best as I know it, as a professor of tautology.
With friends, I desire quality over quantity. I know some very important life truths I'm just waiting for you to ask about. I have found in life, many people talk about happiness, but are unwilling to pay the price, or believe they shouldn't have to, because they are entitled to it, but I know with absolute certainty, that such beliefs are always due to stupidity, Insanity, or some degree of both.
This is not just another YouTube channel; I'm seeking to build a community of Intelligent thinkers daring to discuss, - and say - what the hell really needs to be said, so do the right thing, leave your thoughts, for me and others to possibly learn from, and subscribe, and tell everyone else in the world you know about me, and you'll stand a really good chance, of me remembering you, in my will!
I believe we really can change the current status quo of an idiotic and fucked up purposeless treadmill existence, and actually improve this world, but it requires intelligence, honesty, and BALLS, all three of which are currently in short supply, especially the balls.
Thank you for taking the time, to read this, and remember to avoid anything or anyone stupid, as much as possible, your life will be far better for it.
Please consider, that by visiting my website and/or donating to this show, you're supporting an actual person, not some mega corporation, that wouldn't know human compassion if it hit them over the head!
I look forward to hearing from you, and until next Monday or Friday remember, the world may be misinformed and batshit crazy, but YOU, don’t have to be!

0:00
ever heard the old saying who is the
0:02
greater fool the fool or the one who
0:04
follows the fool I like that saying
0:07
because it summarizes the stupidity you
0:09
see in many people but often people
0:12
don't say anything worried that they'll
0:14
offend someone well fortunately for you
0:17
dear listener I don't possess such
0:20
concerns if I think someone's a
0:22
idiot I let them know without the least
0:25
bit of hesitation least they continue to
0:27
spread their stupidity like the in inous
0:30
disease it truly
0:32
is if you work for a living why do you
0:36
kill yourself
0:39
working
0:41
hello thank you for being here if you're
0:45
like me and you actually have even a
0:49
little bit of a masochistic streak in
0:51
you then you're going to enjoy this
0:56
episode this may seem a little unusual
0:59
on but I'm going to start this out with
1:01
a small two-minute video when you watch
1:05
this video of course you're going to be
1:08
thinking well this is about
1:11
politics and maybe go to click the
1:13
remote no no please don't
1:17
no because that is the entire point of
1:20
you seeing this video is that I'm going
1:22
to
1:23
illustrate that it is not about politics
1:26
at all okay okay it's about learning to
1:32
be
1:33
spoonfed incredibly large amounts of
1:37
total and complete
1:41
so just sit back relax watch
1:45
this and then at the end I'll take it
1:48
from there okay here we go turning to
1:52
Commitment:1:54
that matter to Americans were brought up
1:56
during tonight's presidential debate
1:58
between former president Donald Trump
2:00
and vice president kamla Harris KCCI
2:03
Chief political reporter Amanda Rooker
2:05
and our political analyst Dennis
2:06
goldford join us again with the big
2:08
takeaways from tonight's debate right
2:11
there was a lot of issues they sparred
2:13
over things like immigration foreign
2:15
policy abortion but Dennis we are less
2:19
than two months away from the election
2:21
and right now polls show a neck and neck
2:23
race between Trump and Harris we've seen
2:26
in the past debates don't usually tend
2:29
to have a huge huge impact on this race
2:31
but with the closeness to election day
2:33
and the closeness in the polls you know
2:35
could tonight's debate make a difference
2:38
well we remember that with the debate in
2:40
June with with President Biden and
2:42
former president Trump uh that was just
2:44
an astounding moment and I don't think
2:47
there was that sort of moment in this
2:49
particular debate so there maybe was
2:52
some tweaking at the margins but in a
2:54
tight marginal race if it stays that way
2:56
anything marginal could make a
2:58
difference and after that June debate
3:02
President Biden dropped out meaning that
3:04
kamla Harris has not had that much time
3:07
to introduce herself to the the American
3:09
public I noticed that right off the bat
3:11
tonight she started by saying I a child
3:13
from a middle class family really trying
3:15
to introduce herself you know how how
3:17
did that strategy play out well I think
3:20
what she wanted to do again was was give
3:22
that sense of who she is but also in
3:24
particular she wanted to show that
3:27
number one she cares about the American
3:30
people and wants to be a uniter um but
3:33
at the same time she's no pushover she's
3:35
so strength because the Republican
3:37
approach has been uh that that she's
3:39
tremendously weak um former president
3:42
Trump during this whole debate never
3:44
looked at her once and just exhibited a
3:47
barely suppressed kind of contempt for
3:50
her which was just remarkable so she
3:52
wanted to appeal to What's Left to that
3:54
broad American middle he wanted to
3:56
re-energize reactivate that make America
3:59
great again Trump core well Dennis thank
4:02
you so much for your Insight we'll send
4:04
it back to you in the
4:06
studio well what you think of
4:10
that maybe you didn't think very much
4:12
one way or the other but now here comes
4:16
the fun part because this is what we're
4:18
going to do I'm going to um play this
4:23
back in the equivalent of way back in
4:26
the day used to be known as slowmo
4:30
it won't be in slow motion but it will
4:32
be stopped so I can narrate and
4:35
periodically comment so I can
4:39
separate the truth from well the
4:43
I can tell you um yeah I'm I'm
4:48
basically going to be uh reinterpreting
4:51
it from ease until into actual
4:57
literal meaning or perhap perhaps non-
5:00
meeting if that's the case so why wait
5:03
let's get
5:05
started turning to Commitment:5:08
now many issues that matter to Americans
5:10
were brought up during tonight's
5:12
presidential debate between former
5:14
president Donald Trump and vice
5:15
president kamla Harris KCCI Chief
5:18
political reporter Amanda Rooker and our
5:20
political analyst Dennis goldford join
5:22
us again with the big takeaways from
5:24
tonight's
5:26
debate okay so the instant
5:29
aneous jumps out from Stacy's mouth so
5:33
let me break it down for you she starts
5:36
talking about um mentioning that the uh
5:40
this this whole entire thing was about
5:42
Trump and Harris talking about many of
5:46
the issues that concern
5:48
Americans that's just a straight up
5:50
lie or softer and gentler speak
5:54
a going maybe it's an end truth
6:00
what Americans care about this
6:02
is what at least if they're not brain
6:05
dead they should be caring about
6:07
okay they care about their
6:11
jobs having a job getting a job and
6:16
having a job that pays the bills
6:19
so they don't have to have two or three
6:23
jobs just a job eight hours that should
6:27
be enough that's what Americans
6:30
are concerned about also the price of
6:36
food Americans are concerned about the
6:39
price of food for
6:41
instance it shouldn't take for instance
6:43
$500 dollars to buy two bags of
6:47
groceries Stacy just thought I'd mention
6:50
that to you so they're concerned about
6:54
housing and they're concerned about the
6:57
cost of food and of course
7:00
employment but you said where they
7:04
discussed many things in America the
7:08
7:11
Stacy they talked about topical hot
7:14
button issues they talked about
7:16
immigration that's not going to be
7:17
solved tomorrow but that's not really
7:21
what is concerning most
7:24
Americans okay okay abortion yes it's
7:29
something that you know for the most
7:31
ridiculous of reasons has to be rehack
7:35
over again which is strictly for
7:39
political theater and for the purpose of
7:43
constantly distracting you about the
7:46
things that actually matter like
7:49
being able to afford to actually buy a
7:54
home and not pretending to own a home
7:57
because when you lose your job 3
8:00
to 5 years later well you're back to
8:03
square one again because the
8:05
bank comes and takes it away from you
8:07
that's not home
8:08
ownership and one last thing Stacy when
8:11
you first started this segment I have
8:14
this really corporate sounding I I
8:17
mean I've met more pleasant
8:19
prison guards okay commitment
8:25
2024
8:27
commitment what the a commitment
8:30
like in a relationship like somebody
8:33
that you're wanting to get together and
8:36
bang or something like that okay that's
8:39
being committed not this
8:43
I'll tell you something Stacy
8:45
my personal opinion as far as commitment
8:48
is concerned the only thing here that
8:50
should be committed is you to a funny
8:54
farm let's go
8:57
on right there was a lot lot of issues
9:00
they sparred over things like
9:01
immigration foreign policy abortion but
9:04
Dennis we are less than two months away
9:07
from the election and right now polls
9:09
show a neck and neck race between Trump
9:12
and Harris we've seen in the past
9:14
debates don't usually tend to have a
9:17
huge impact on this race but with the
9:19
closeness to election day and the
9:20
closeness in the polls you know could
9:23
tonight toate Make a Difference excuse
9:25
me corporate shill I mean Dennis
9:29
um shortest possible answer Amanda no it
9:33
doesn't matter it doesn't matter
9:36
whatsoever and as far as the contestants
9:40
being so neck and neck are
9:42
concerned we're only talking a
9:45
difference in reality here of Coke and
9:48
Pepsi on the real issues if you examine
9:52
the real issues both of them have
9:56
virtually nothing to say about about the
10:00
things that I previously mentioned that
10:03
really matters because they have no real
10:07
clue about how to address those
10:10
issues so again the very short answer
10:13
Amanda is no it doesn't matter whatso
10:18
ever
10:21
next well we remember that with the
10:24
debate in June with with President Biden
10:26
and former president Trump uh that was
10:29
just an astounding moment and I don't
10:31
think there was that sort of moment in
10:33
this particular debate so there maybe
10:36
was some tweaking at the margins but in
10:38
a tight marginal race if it stays that
10:40
way anything marginal could make a
10:43
difference are you kidding me Dennis get
10:46
the out of here astounding anything
10:49
between Trump and Biden
10:53
astounding you've got to be what
10:55
Kool-Aid are you on Dennis boy they must
10:59
pay this corporate shill a lot of
11:01
Buu bucks to dish out this
11:04
premium top grade now if you
11:08
really want to see something astounding
11:11
you really want to witness something
11:13
special closeup video of snails having
11:17
sex that is
11:20
astounding let's move
11:23
on and after that June debate President
11:27
Biden dropped out meaning that kamla
11:29
Harris has not had that much time to
11:31
introduce herself to the the American
11:33
public I noticed that right off the bat
11:35
tonight she started by saying I am a
11:37
child from a middle class family really
11:39
trying to introduce herself you know how
11:41
how did that strategy play out while
11:44
Stacy I have to say you read your
11:47
corporate Q cards very well as far as
11:51
getting to know Harris is concerned are
11:54
you again are you kidding
11:57
me I haven't had that much long to get
12:00
to know how much how long does
12:03
it take we know who camell Harris is
12:07
Stacy it doesn't take uh four five 6 7 8
12:11
10 12 years to figure it out we
12:14
basically know who she is what she did
12:17
and what she's about but then again I'm
12:20
not looking for Celebrity Status here
12:23
Stacy and the other thing is too it's
12:26
like he wants to get to know people I
12:28
actually come from very humble
12:31
beginnings and middle class background
12:34
Stacy I don't give a if she was the
12:37
loved child of the Pope and the cleaning
12:40
lady at the Vatican it's
12:42
completely
12:44
irrelevant
12:46
Christ all right let's hear some
12:49
more well I think what she wanted to do
12:52
again was was give that sense of who she
12:54
is but also in particular she wanted to
12:57
show that number one she cares about the
13:00
American people and wants to be a uniter
13:03
um but at the same time she's no
13:05
pushover she's so strength because the
13:08
Republican approach has been uh that
13:10
that she's tremendously weak um former
13:13
president Trump during this whole debate
13:15
never looked at her once and just
13:18
exhibited a barely suppressed kind of
13:20
contempt for her which was just
13:22
remarkable so she wanted to appeal to
13:25
What's Left of that broad American
13:26
middle he wanted to re-energize
13:29
reactivate that make America great again
13:31
Trump core well Dennis thank you so much
13:34
for your Insight we'll send it back to
13:36
you in the studio I have to you have to
13:39
stand in a you have to stand back in
13:42
absolute a Dennis thank you for
13:45
you saved the very best serving of
13:51
for the very end it's a it's
13:54
amazing I I just I I I don't know what
13:57
to say I'm I'm I'm I'm and
13:59
speechless because this whole the the
14:03
the the Trope dentist and the the
14:04
delivery the delivery
14:07
dentist I mean perfect please
14:11
allow me just a few moments as a pause
14:14
for the cause I know it's a real
14:16
struggle bringing home the bacon times
14:19
are tough you don't have to tell me
14:21
twice so if you enjoy what I do here on
14:25
the earnest man show would you please
14:27
consider a donation
14:29
I could really use some dough to keep
14:31
things going on around here and by
14:34
clicking on my co-i donation Link in the
14:37
description below even just a cup of
14:40
coffee would be very earnestly
14:43
appreciated thank you now back to the
14:48
episode I almost fell out of my chair
14:51
laughing the very first time I heard
14:53
this this about Chamilia caring
14:57
about people
14:59
let's make something perfectly clear as
15:01
I finish this up either Harris or Trump
15:05
either one of them don't give a
15:08
whatsoever in any way shape or form
15:11
other than getting elected um about the
15:14
American people none zero they're
15:18
they're in the big club and well you me
15:21
and a whole hell of a lot of other
15:22
people or not so if you drink that
15:25
Kool-Aid well I've got some Lakefront
15:28
proper
15:29
in Arizona if you'd like to
15:32
contact me that I'd love to sell you um
15:35
if I had anything to say like I said as
15:38
I finish this up and I know I've I've
15:39
worn your ear or your eyes off for 15
15:42
minutes or so now um you know if there's
15:46
there's two basic different ways of that
15:49
they're trying to worm and squirm their
15:51
way back onto the public Dole because
15:54
that's what this is really all about and
15:57
if you want to know in a future video
15:59
I'll go into that into depth to explain
16:02
where I'm coming from okay
16:04
okay um neither one of them give a
16:07
about the American people it's about
16:09
getting into office any way they can and
16:12
they'll say and just about do anything
16:15
to do that but in summary here's what I
16:18
would have to say about this um two
16:21
different approaches to trying to
16:23
accomplish the same thing okay
16:26
um Harris is using the old old Democrat
16:30
tried and true technique basically it's
16:33
with an attitude of her constant her
16:36
constant cackling laughing it's like
16:39
permanent and the smirk that virtually
16:42
never leaves her face okay and I
16:45
personally find that really annoying but
16:48
that's that's just me but um yeah you
16:51
don't you don't get much more patently
16:56
disingenuous than than Kamal Harris
16:59
god um not to mention the fact yeah
17:02
except for in a very thieving and
17:04
conniving way uh yeah it's not a whole
17:08
lot of like a saucer there's no depth
17:10
there on anything so she doesn't go off
17:12
of prompters and she doesn't talk about
17:16
you know what's been called you know
17:17
meat and potato on the table the dinner
17:20
issues because she doesn't have any real
17:23
plan there is none the only plan
17:27
is any way she can to get into office
17:30
that's that's the plan but it's the same
17:32
old you notice the platitudes of you
17:35
know getting rid of the um the
17:39
divisiveness and this they've been
17:42
saying this same old tired Trope about
17:45
we need to come together and unify and
17:48
all this horseshit for the last 40 years
17:51
that I've been listening to this
17:53
horeshit and she has a very what I'd say
17:56
is rainbows unicorns and puppy dogs
18:00
approach to this you know to this
18:04
election whereas Trump is different
18:07
Trump is a whole different Critter that
18:10
appeals to a different segment of
18:12
thought Trump comes in he come in and
18:15
say he'd have a date or something like
18:18
that this is all you know this is all
18:20
figuratively speaking of course but I'm
18:23
saying if it was a beautiful if America
18:25
was and its people were a beautiful
18:28
woman she would come in and soon as she
18:30
got into his apartment he'd kind of
18:33
unceremoniously rip her clothes off slap
18:36
her across the face and throw her in the
18:40
bedroom and say I'll be in in 5 minutes
18:42
you're getting
18:44
that's
18:47
Trump but the thing that appeals to
18:51
people about
18:52
that at least he's
18:55
honest yep if anybody's going to get
18:57
and if you're going to get
18:59
fck at least he's honest just one other
19:03
quick side note I want to make a
19:04
prediction here again this is not
19:08
partisan I'm not wishing one creature
19:11
over the other and right now they're
19:14
both really bad as far as I'm
19:17
concerned but having said that I'm can
19:21
predict and I think with a a very good
19:23
degree of
19:24
certainty Trump's going to win Trump
19:29
however you feel whether that brings you
19:31
know pleasant thoughts or whatever or
19:34
just hell on Earth to your mind
19:37
I really sincerely don't believe the
19:40
numbers that I see and what and what I
19:42
know in the final analysis there are a
19:45
number of states um there are four or
19:48
five
19:50
Bedrock uh fence sitting borderline
19:53
States but they're really in a pinch
19:56
they're going to roll Republican
19:58
and if she doesn't win minimum a minimum
20:03
of four of those
20:05
States mathematically she's out that's
