Shownotes
You're carrying something — a secret sin, a private compromise, a thing you've never said out loud. And a very old, very powerful teaching says you must bring it to a priest to be forgiven and absolved. But on the day Jesus died, God tore the temple curtain in two, from top to bottom — from his side, not ours. This message walks straight at the two verses that teaching is built on, John 20 and Matthew 16, and asks the only question that matters: when you finally kneel with that heavy thing in your hands, who has the authority to say "it is forgiven, go free"?
Confession is gloriously biblical — to God, and to one another. The wall built in front of it is not. Attack the error, love the person, and come boldly to the throne.
