Shownotes

Guided by questions from children and young people, the three people to have held the role of Children and Young People's Commissioner for Scotland discuss their experiences in the post.

The CYPCS role has turned 18 - so Professor Kathleen Marshall, Tam Baillie and current commissioner Bruce Adamson have come together to discuss their shared challenge as Children's Commissioners, and the role's strengths as an independent champion for children’s rights.

This third and final episode focuses on what it's like to come to the end of a Children's Commissioner's fixed term, to have unfinished business, and to hand over to a successor to take on your work.

The series was co-produced by John, one of the office’s young advisers. Music was created by young people working with Big Noise, Sistema Scotland. It was produced by Bespoken Media's Amanda Hargreaves with sound design by Joel Cox.
