In some way, we all seek to improve the lives of others through our businesses. We may be doing this as health services, business services, life services… it does not matter the form it takes. What does matter is being able to have some quantitative measures with which we can say we’re honoring and promoting human dignity.
To discuss the importance of the value of human dignity, I (Kyle) interviewed Greg Enas, Founder and Venture Catalyst of Innovatov LLC and Vice Chairman of CHORUS. Greg shared about the burden of properly handling and rendering decisions when it comes to gathered data. He related how data and science can be messy and you may find yourself doing a lot of crisis management but it’s worth it when you get the result of bettered lives. He went on to add how interdependency is a powerful catalyst and critical to any meaningful business.
“Interdependency is how we’re designed as human beings. We need each other. But the CEO needs to set the pace, right? They need to lead… If a CEO is not willing or able to receive, then they won’t be able to give, and that interdependency will be lost and the team will be ineffective.” -- Greg Enas
