Shownotes
In this episode, we explore the tenet of vulnerability and trust in discipleship groups. This is where things get real. Growth doesn’t happen without it.
We define vulnerability as honest openness—about both struggles and successes—and connect it directly to humility. You can’t go deep while guarding your image. At some point, someone has to go first and take the risk of being known.
That’s where trust begins. When vulnerability is met with care, it builds trust. And over time, that cycle deepens relationships and creates real brotherhood.
We also acknowledge the cost. Vulnerability can hurt. But avoiding it leads to a different kind of pain—one marked by isolation and stalled growth. The kind we’re talking about leads to healing.
At the core, this is essential: no vulnerability, no growth. And no trust, no depth in discipleship.
