Shownotes

In this episode, I'm sharing the secret to having triple the amount of success stories, testimonials, and client results on your sales pages without having to revamp your curriculum or constantly chase clients for testimonials. Let's dive into how you can effortlessly showcase the results your clients are achieving.

Key Points:

The Importance of Tracking Client Results:

  • My clients are experts at getting results, but they often struggle with tracking those results.
  • Without a tracking system, it's easy to doubt your program's effectiveness and miss out on showcasing client successes.
  • Most clients won’t voluntarily share their wins unless prompted and incentivized.

Mindset Shift:

  • Believe that your clients are getting results, even if they aren't vocal about it.
  • The lack of testimonials often stems from not having a system to collect them, not from the program's ineffectiveness.

Steps to Setting Up a Client Results Tracking System:

A. Have a Measurable Program Promise:

  • Ensure your program promise is specific and measurable.
  • For example, a dating program could promise "helping clients find a relationship" or "getting a boyfriend in 90 days."

B. Reverse Engineer Your Onboarding Form:

  • Collect baseline data to measure progress accurately.
  • Ask specific questions to capture clients’ starting points, such as their current rates or recent achievements.

C. Create an Engaging Tracking System:

  • Develop a tracking form that clients are motivated to fill out.
  • Use Airtable to automate data collection and provide immediate feedback to clients.
  • For instance, when a client books a wedding package, they receive an automated email summarizing their progress and celebrating their achievements.

The Benefits of a Client Results Tracking System:

  • It helps you gather more success stories for your sales pages.
  • Clients feel seen and appreciated, enhancing their experience.
  • You can identify and celebrate your star students, even the quiet ones.

Actionable Steps for You:

  • If you don’t have a client results tracking system, set it up before considering any curriculum overhaul.
  • Track data to see how clients are progressing through your program.
  • Use the collected data to validate your program's effectiveness and showcase it on your sales pages.

How We Can Help:

  • In my group program, Systems Over Stress, we help you set up effective client results tracking systems.
  • We also offer a done-for-you service to set up these systems tailored to your needs.

Speaker:

MacBook Pro Microphone-23: And this

episode, I'm going to share with you

2

:

the secret to having triple the amount

of success stories, testimonials client

3

:

results on your sales pages without

having to totally revamp your curriculum

4

:

without having to tear down your offer.

5

:

And without having to go crawling to

your clients every time you're about

6

:

to have a launch and ask them for

testimonials, because you realize

7

:

you haven't, you haven't collected

anything since your last launch.

8

:

So my clients are experts at getting their

clients results, but the thing that they

9

:

are not so great at is actually tracking

the results that they get their clients.

10

:

And that is literally

all that you have to do.

11

:

To get more client success stories

is just have a tracking system.

12

:

This sounds so straightforward and

so silly, but it is shocking to me.

13

:

Like you would be surprised and if you've

ever felt like this, you're not alone.

14

:

This feeling of feeling like your

slack channels, a little quiet lately.

15

:

So like, are people getting

results in the program?

16

:

Are people mad at you?

17

:

Does everybody hate you?

18

:

Is nothing happening in the program?

19

:

Like, do you need to revamp the curriculum

because no, one's getting results.

20

:

People spit out that their

program isn't good enough.

21

:

When really their program is totally fine.

22

:

They're just not tracking the data

that they need in order to prove

23

:

that their program is working.

24

:

So if you do not have a client

results tracking system, you're

25

:

just working harder than you need

to, and you are letting gold, like

26

:

slip through your fingers because

your clients more likely than not.

27

:

I promise you are quietly

getting results in your program.

28

:

But you don't have an incentivized way

for them to share those results with you.

29

:

So they're just not going to the

majority of your clients are not going

30

:

to shower you with compliments inside

of your slack channel or randomly

31

:

email you glowing testimonials.

32

:

That's not how it works all the time.

33

:

Yes.

34

:

We love those clients that do that.

35

:

They exist and they're amazing, but

they are definitely not the majority.

36

:

And really, if you don't have a client

results tracking system, you're just

37

:

missing out on opportunities to collect

more wins from some of those quieter

38

:

clients, , I promise you're getting

more client results than you realize.

39

:

That is the mindset that I choose to

embody and believe because so much of the

40

:

narrative in the online business world

is like, People are scamming you like all

41

:

these big promises and in businesses and

they don't have anything to back it up.

42

:

And like, I'm just tired of

that narrative and just kind of

43

:

like dogging on the industry.

44

:

Because I really believe that , You

were all getting our clients results.

45

:

We could be better at

getting a client results.

46

:

We can get our clients results

faster if we're tracking them.

47

:

But if you don't have a client results

tracking system, you're just letting

48

:

gold slip through your fingers.

49

:

You're a sales page really

could have triple the amount

50

:

of success stories on it.

51

:

If you simply had an incentivized process.

52

:

For your clients to track the results.

53

:

You do not have to completely

rerecord your curriculum to get

54

:

your clients better results.

55

:

All you need to do is have a simple

system to track the results that

56

:

you're already getting our clients.

57

:

So, if you do not have a client

results tracker for your group program

58

:

or your one-on-one coaching, That's

specifically what I do in my work.

59

:

As I help you set that up, we have like

an amazing system, amazing framework,

60

:

amazing processes to get all that set up.

61

:

But I wanted to walk you through

specifically kind of what.

62

:

What it looks like and what an actual

client tracking and results system.

63

:

Consists of.

64

:

So first up, you've got to have

a measurable program promise.

65

:

We have other podcast episodes about it.

66

:

But really before you start to even

build or think about a client results

67

:

tracking system, you have to make sure

that the result that you want to track

68

:

is really the result that you are like

wanting to go all in, on, in your program.

69

:

So many times people have tracking forms

or accountability forms, and they're

70

:

just kind of, they don't have an actual.

71

:

Strategy behind exactly what

they want to be tracking.

72

:

So if you have a program that is a

dating program, is your result that

73

:

you help people find their right

relationship or is your result.

74

:

You help them get a boyfriend in 90 days.

75

:

Like there, those are two different,

two different results, right?

76

:

One is like fine.

77

:

The PR like find your forever person

can be your result that you track.

78

:

The other one could be.

79

:

Get a boyfriend in 30 days.

80

:

How you structure your program

based on that promise is going

81

:

to be very, very different.

82

:

So we want to make sure that you really

understand exactly what you're wanting to.

83

:

You want to be tracking.

84

:

Because if you say we help you

find like the forever relationship.

85

:

You might not care that those people

take a year to find that for a

86

:

relationship instead of like 30 days to

getting a boyfriend and being happy in

87

:

that, , that's a very specific example.

88

:

But we really want to make sure that you

have a measurable program promise that

89

:

is aligned to the result that you want

to track with your, with your clients.

90

:

MacBook Pro Microphone-24: A good way to

think about this is close your eyes and

91

:

think about like, what is the wall of wins

that you want to have in your sales page?

92

:

So is it.

93

:

Ashley was able to increase her wedding

photography prices from 1,500 to 4,000.

94

:

The average students in our program

are able to sell $10,000 packages or

95

:

the average person books, a sales call

within 15 days of joining the program.

96

:

Like what are those data points

that you want to be able to like.

97

:

Use to stand behind your

program and your results.

98

:

And want to really clear on what you

want to track then creating the tracking

99

:

system is pretty straightforward and easy.

100

:

MacBook Pro Microphone-25: So that's the

first thing is making sure that you have

101

:

a promise that you can track and that

can honestly feel hard because especially

102

:

if you're a life coach or have like more,

quote unquote, unmeasurable promise,

103

:

promise you every single program promise

can be measurable and it really should be.

104

:

Anything that you're selling.

105

:

You should be able to have a

result that you can measure.

106

:

It can feel hard to figure that out,

but once you figure that out and that's

107

:

something I help my clients with as we

have a client results cleanup session

108

:

when they first get started with us.

109

:

And just the clarity alone in that

can help you have so much confidence

110

:

in your curriculum and the tweaks

that you need to make, if you

111

:

need to make any tweaks at all.

112

:

But like I said, oftentimes, people

don't actually have to make tweaks.

113

:

They just have to track what they're

already doing for their clients.

114

:

So after you have your measurable

program promise figured out, then

115

:

what you do is you need to reverse

engineer your onboarding form to

116

:

make sure that you're getting good

baseline data about your clients.

117

:

So if you.

118

:

You help wedding photographers raise

their rates to $10,000, $5,000, whatever.

119

:

You want to know what are they

starting with in the program?

120

:

So you need to make sure that your

onboarding form has very specific,

121

:

measurable questions that gets

that baseline data beforehand.

122

:

So you need to ask them.

123

:

How much is your average wedding package?

124

:

What is your lowest wedding package?

125

:

What your highest wedding package,

what was the average of your

126

:

last three wedding packages?

127

:

There's a lot of different ways you can

structure it, but you need a number.

128

:

So you can say.

129

:

On average, our clients come into us.

130

:

Selling their packages at $750.

131

:

That's really, really

important data to have.

132

:

And a lot of us have onboarding forms,

but you would be surprised at how

133

:

often those forums are just so fluffy.

134

:

And aren't actually asking that

really important baseline data.

135

:

So that's something to check out is,

go check your onboarding form and see

136

:

if it's catching that baseline data.

137

:

That's the main point

of your onboarding form.

138

:

And then after that, you need to create

a client results tracking system and form

139

:

that people actually want to fill out.

140

:

So we have a whole process with our

clients to make sure that you're creating

141

:

a culture of submitting client results.

142

:

So people are excited to fill it

out because it doesn't matter if you

143

:

create a beautiful client results

tracking system and none of your

144

:

clients actually fill it out or use it.

145

:

So it's this delicate balance of making

sure you're collecting enough data.

146

:

At an average frequency, that feels good.

147

:

So you can understand that

people are getting results,

148

:

but not overwhelming them.

149

:

So they don't want to fill it out.

150

:

There's so many different ways to do this.

151

:

But one of the biggest ways

is to make sure that you have

152

:

automated systems in place.

153

:

Air table is really the

only way to do this.

154

:

Where, when they fill out your tracking

form, they get this positive feedback loop

155

:

that shows how much they've submitted.

156

:

Let's say let's go back to the

wedding photography example.

157

:

You help people book 10 K packages.

158

:

So what you would have most likely.

159

:

I would recommend is

any time someone books.

160

:

A wedding package.

161

:

It makes a client sale.

162

:

They would fill out a form with you and

why they want to fill out that form.

163

:

It's not so they can help you.

164

:

And so you can tell them, Hey, when

you fill this out, you are going

165

:

to get an automated email and say,

here's how many sales you've made.

166

:

Here's your average rate

of your wedding packages.

167

:

So it's like, Hey Ashley, amazing.

168

:

You just submitted a $7,500 wedding

package that you still just sold.

169

:

We're so proud of you.

170

:

As a reminder, you started at X

amount of dollars and yours packages.

171

:

You started at seven 50.

172

:

That is a X amount increase.

173

:

You did it.

174

:

You achieved the program promise.

175

:

We're so stoked for you.

176

:

Keep submitting winds.

177

:

You see you.

178

:

Sold over a hundred thousand dollars

in the wedding packages, whatever

179

:

it is, air table helps you pull

those numbers automatically without

180

:

any, like there's no delay, it goes

right to the client right away.

181

:

And so you're keeping track for them.

182

:

And that can feel really

motivating for clients.

183

:

It makes them feel really

seen and taken care of.

184

:

And like there's a really

high touch experience.

185

:

So you need to have a client

results that you're tracking.

186

:

That's very clear.

187

:

You have an onboarding form that

is asking them the baseline data.

188

:

And then you need to have a.

189

:

Result tracking form.

190

:

That people want to fill out.

191

:

And that has automated emails

that gives people their progress.

192

:

If you have those three things.

193

:

Then you are going to have so many more

success stories on your sales page.

194

:

So much more client data, and

you're also going to be able

195

:

to see your star students.

196

:

Like I said, there are people

who are, you are sleeping on.

197

:

You, you think that

they hate your program.

198

:

They don't, they're just quietly

cruising through because they

199

:

have no incentive to tell you that

they're doing well, other than like

200

:

inflating your ego, which is nice.

201

:

People like to do that sometimes.

202

:

But that's, we want to make sure

that we're capturing everybody

203

:

because it's so important for

us to track our client results.

204

:

So, if you do not have a client result

tracking system for your group program

205

:

or your one-on-one coaching offer.

206

:

I really, really want you to

set that up before you start to

207

:

revamp your curriculum before you

think of tearing down your offer.

208

:

Let's get data and let's see how

clients are going through your program.

209

:

So we help you set this up in my

grip program systems over stress,

210

:

or we also have a done for you

offer where we set this up for you.

211

to show how you can work with us.

212

:

you need, you need, you need

213

:

client results, tracking systems.

214

:

you can shoot me a DM.

215
