Speaker A:

Welcome to Power Hour where we believe it is God's will for you to be well.

Speaker A:

I'm your host, Kylie Terradez, and this podcast is created from the weekly live streams that I do every Thursday at 1pm Mountain time.

Speaker A:

Whether you tune in live or listen later, this message is something that you can receive today.

Speaker A:

Let's get started.

Speaker A:

Hello everyone.

Speaker A:

It is that time again.

Speaker A:

It is Power Hour.

Speaker A:

We're gonna pray and, and then we're going to get into this.

Speaker A:

This is what the Lord has been speaking to me about.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

So Father, that I just thank you.

Speaker A:

You're here with us today.

Speaker A:

No matter where we are, no matter where we're watching from, no matter what surrounds us, that Lord, you're right there.

Speaker A:

In the midst of every circumstance, you're right there close to us.

Speaker A:

That you never leave us, that you never forsake us.

Speaker A:

I hear, I hear the Lord saying right now, just hold on.

Speaker A:

Just hold on and watch this thing turn around.

Speaker A:

Just hold on.

Speaker A:

Just don't give up.

Speaker A:

He's holding on to you.

Speaker A:

He has a grip on you.

Speaker A:

Father God, I thank you that you give us ears to hear this message today.

Speaker A:

Thank you Holy Spirit, that you give us and the ability to hear and to understand and to apply your word in our life today.

Speaker A:

Let it be unto us, Lord, according to your word.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Grab your Bibles.

Speaker A:

We're going to start in Luke chapter one.

Speaker A:

You know, we often read these passages at Christmas time.

Speaker A:

And this, this we're going to jump in here.

Speaker A:

This is, that is talking about the, the birth of actually John the Baptist.

Speaker A:

We're going to look at a couple of different people here that had angelic encounters.

Speaker A:

And you know, there's, there's more written about angelic encounters during the times when Jesus walked the earth than any other time.

Speaker A:

And I don't think there's any coincidence with that that angels surrounded Jesus.

Speaker A:

He.

Speaker A:

He walked and legions of angels surrounded him.

Speaker A:

At any time he could have called upon them to deliver him, to bring him to aid even on the cross.

Speaker A:

He could, he could have called legions of angels to come and deliver him in that moment rather than going to the cross.

Speaker A:

But you know, all of the power that surrounded him, all of the forces of the armies of heaven that were at his commandment, you know, he would just have to.

Speaker A:

Had to say the word and they would have jumped to it, you know, but even though he had all that power, He.

Speaker A:

He still went to the cross for us.

Speaker A:

That kind of, to me, that kind of just.

Speaker A:

It hit me this morning, like Jesus, you had all of this, all these supernatural abilities and celestial beings at your disposal.

Speaker A:

And yet here you are, you know, being born in a manger and sacrificing yourself on the cross for us, you decided to do that for us.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

That's powerful.

Speaker A:

You know, angels were the ones that declared the Lord's birth.

Speaker A:

They declared to John, to.

Speaker A:

To John's dad, Zechariah.

Speaker A:

We're going to jump in here to Luke, chapter one, that he was going to have a child and that he was going to be the way maker.

Speaker A:

He was going to be the one that made the way for the Lord to come.

Speaker A:

This was an angel, angelic encounter.

Speaker A:

It says in verse five.

Speaker A:

There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judah, a certain priest named Zechariah.

Speaker A:

His wife was one of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.

Speaker A:

They were both righteous before God, walking in the commandments and, and the ordinances of the Lord blamelessly.

Speaker A:

But they had no child because Elizabeth was barren.

Speaker A:

And they both were now well advanced in years, so probably past the ability, the childbearing years is what he's saying now why he served as a priest before God when the division was on.

Speaker A:

When his division was on duty, according to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense.

Speaker A:

And when he went, you know, it was his.

Speaker A:

His turn.

Speaker A:

Basically, he went into the temple and the whole crowd of people were praying outside during the hour of incense.

Speaker A:

Now look at what happened in verse 11.

Speaker A:

The angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense.

Speaker A:

Now, when Zechariah saw him, he was troubled and fear fell upon him.

Speaker A:

Now this is kind of, you know, angels didn't just appear, right?

Speaker A:

So when angels appeared in the scripture, they were formidable fools.

Speaker A:

It says when the angel said to him, do not fear, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard.

Speaker A:

And your wife, and you and your wife Elizabeth, will bear you a son and you should call his name John.

Speaker A:

So here he is, an angel appearing to Zechariah the priest and telling him, you know, you're going to have a.

Speaker A:

You're going to have a child, even though it seems impossible.

Speaker A:

And when he's born, this is what his name is going to be.

Speaker A:

You're going to have great joy and gladness and many are going to rejoice.

Speaker A:

And for he will be great in the sight of the Lord.

Speaker A:

He should.

Speaker A:

And it goes on to describe what's going to happen right now.

Speaker A:

Zechariah obviously overwhelmed by this experience.

Speaker A:

He says Zechariah said to the angel in verse 18, and how shall I know this?

Speaker A:

Now, there's a whole description that's going on here from the angel.

Speaker A:

He's going to turn many from the sons of Israel to the Lord God.

Speaker A:

He's going to go before him in spirit and the power of Elijah, turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and he's going to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Speaker A:

But Zechariah's first response to this angel, how shall I know this?

Speaker A:

For I'm an old man and my wife is well advanced in years.

Speaker A:

So he struggled in this area.

Speaker A:

I mean, you think about, you've just put it in yourself, in Zachariah's position for just a moment.

Speaker A:

And you're in, you're in the inner temple here.

Speaker A:

You're making your, your sacrifices and things and burning incense.

Speaker A:

And this, this angel appears to you and starts telling you, oh, what you've been praying for has been answered.

Speaker A:

Your wife, who's well past it, is going to have a son.

Speaker A:

This is overwhelming information.

Speaker A:

And the first thing that comes up is, how shall I know that?

Speaker A:

He struggled to believe what the angel was telling him.

Speaker A:

He struggled to believe what the angel was telling him.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

He says, because I'm an old man and my wife is well advanced in years.

Speaker A:

In other words, he could have said, I just don't see how this is possible.

Speaker A:

I don't see how this is going to work.

Speaker A:

You know, we are, we've been praying for this for a long time.

Speaker A:

Yes, but you know, like, like now, like we're old.

Speaker A:

How is this going to happen?

Speaker A:

Well, the angel answered him and said, I am Gabriel who stands in the presence of God.

Speaker A:

In other words, you better know who you're talking to.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

I'm, I'm Gabriel who stands in the presence of God.

Speaker A:

And I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.

Speaker A:

You know, something hit me this morning.

Speaker A:

Angels are created celestial beings and they were, you know, they were around before the earth was created, before mankind was created.

Speaker A:

Angels were there.

Speaker A:

You know, this Gabriel who we read about in the scripture, he's the same Gabriel that's present on the earth today.

Speaker A:

He's the same Gabriel that stands before the Lord today and receives a.

Speaker A:

Orders and, and moves at God's word.

Speaker A:

He's the same angel Gabriel that appears to people today.

Speaker A:

You know, when we talk about, often we, we, we read the scriptures and, you know, we read about the people that are in the scriptures.

Speaker A:

And we realize that they're human people that lived long ago and they're dead.

Speaker A:

And we're going to see them one day in heaven, but they're dead now.

Speaker A:

Well, when we read about angels and their named, understand this.

Speaker A:

They're just as alive today as they were when this was written.

Speaker A:

That blew my mind.

Speaker A:

It's the same angel.

Speaker A:

Gabriel is the same angel that is present today and moves at the command of God's word today as he was written here, standing before Zechariah.

Speaker A:

That's phenomenal to me.

Speaker A:

He said to me, I am, I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I've come here to give you a message from him.

Speaker A:

You know, kind of like, don't question what I'm saying.

Speaker A:

I was sent to speak to you and bring you the good news.

Speaker A:

And now you will be silent.

Speaker A:

Now you will be silent, he says, and unable to speak until the day that these things happen.

Speaker A:

Because why you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their season.

Speaker A:

Now, the story of this goes that he was mute when he went back home.

Speaker A:

He had to go back out the temple.

Speaker A:

He was mute.

Speaker A:

He was not able to speak again until the, the moment of John's birth.

Speaker A:

They went that to name him eight days old.

Speaker A:

And they was going to name him after Zachariah as there was the custom.

Speaker A:

But you know, Elizabeth said, no, he's going to be named John.

Speaker A:

And, and that's when his mouth was open, says, no, he's his.

Speaker A:

His name shall be John.

Speaker A:

And so he wasn't able to speak this whole time.

Speaker A:

He had to be still and listen and observe.

Speaker A:

And, and this was really because he would not believe the word of the Lord which was spoken to him.

Speaker A:

That was a pretty formidable contrast right there.

Speaker A:

You know, covers.

Speaker A:

Is it such a contrast between Zechariah and Abraham?

Speaker A:

Absolutely.

Speaker A:

I want to show you another one here.

Speaker A:

This is another angelic encounter.

Speaker A:

Now remember, Elizabeth is the sister of Mary.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

And the.

Speaker A:

And I just think it's really interesting that an angel appeared to Zechariah and prophesied the birth of, of John.

Speaker A:

And then an angel has appeared to Mary and prophesied the birth of Jesus.

Speaker A:

And an angel also appeared to Joseph and told him, you know, Mary's going to get pregnant.

Speaker A:

It's going to be an immaculate conception.

Speaker A:

This is of the Lord.

Speaker A:

You're going to have a son and he's going to be the savior of the world.

Speaker A:

Angels had the privilege and the honor.

Speaker A:

These angelic encounters were there to.

Speaker A:

To be Basically a God with.

Speaker A:

A God with skin on something physic.

Speaker A:

A physical manifestation that people could see in order to help them believe the word of the Lord, the command of the Lord that was spoken.

Speaker A:

The angels are messengers of God sent by his word to deliver and do his bidding.

Speaker A:

So they are.

Speaker A:

They.

Speaker A:

They don't have free will in the sense that we have free will.

Speaker A:

They are there.

Speaker A:

They are created for a purpose, to deliver the word of God, to carry out the mission of God on the earth.

Speaker A:

And angels administered to Jesus when he was taken away.

Speaker A:

And at the.

Speaker A:

At the Mount of Temptation there, he says, angels ministered to Jesus.

Speaker A:

They have a ministry position they don't have.

Speaker A:

And they have a lot of authority.

Speaker A:

They're not the author, not the same kind of authority that we've been given as, as representations of Jesus on the, on the earth.

Speaker A:

They don't have the same authority that we have.

Speaker A:

Look at this.

Speaker A:

Going over it just.

Speaker A:

Well, I'm saying, going over a page, you might.

Speaker A:

You might be scrolling, depending what kind of Bible you use.

Speaker A:

It says, in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God, now this time to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph of the house of David, and the virgin's name was Mary.

Speaker A:

And the angel came to her and said in verse 28, Here, Luke 1, verse 28, greetings to you who are highly favored.

Speaker A:

The Lord is with you.

Speaker A:

Blessed are you among women.

Speaker A:

You know, this is one of the only times that this is.

Speaker A:

This word favor is used in this, in this way.

Speaker A:

The other time is in the first chapter of Ephesians, okay?

Speaker A:

But it says, blessed are you who are highly favored.

Speaker A:

And it's.

Speaker A:

It means chorito.

Speaker A:

This is the word we get, charis or grace from.

Speaker A:

You have been graced.

Speaker A:

This is grace.

Speaker A:

Grace has come to you.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Blessed are you who are highly favored.

Speaker A:

Love to the Lord.

Speaker A:

The Lord is with you.

Speaker A:

Blessed are you among women.

Speaker A:

Now, when she saw him, you know, the angel appearing again.

Speaker A:

This is.

Speaker A:

This is kind of a formidable thing.

Speaker A:

When she saw him, she was troubled by his words.

Speaker A:

And he considered in her mind, what kind of greeting is this going to be?

Speaker A:

You know what's going on here.

Speaker A:

This is, you know what's going to happen next.

Speaker A:

And so it says here.

Speaker A:

But the angel said to her, do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor.

Speaker A:

Chirito, grace with God says, listen, for you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and his name shall be Jesus, and he will be Great.

Speaker A:

And he will be called the son of the highest.

Speaker A:

And the Lord will give him the throne of his father, David.

Speaker A:

And he'll reign over the house of Jacob forever.

Speaker A:

And of his kingdom, there will be no end.

Speaker A:

Now, this time, look at the response of Mary.

Speaker A:

This is quite different for Zechariah.

Speaker A:

She says, how can this be since I do not know a man?

Speaker A:

Now, it's a similar.

Speaker A:

Quite similar statement that Zechariah made, but the intention behind it is different.

Speaker A:

She was trying to figure out, you know, Zechariah asked, you know, how can this be since I'm, you know, really, really old and so is my wife, and how can we possibly have a child?

Speaker A:

Mary's saying a similar thing.

Speaker A:

How can this be since I do not know a man?

Speaker A:

You know, I've never been with a man.

Speaker A:

How physically, how is this gonna.

Speaker A:

How is this gonna transpire?

Speaker A:

But the heart was different.

Speaker A:

The heart was not full of doubt.

Speaker A:

The heart here was a questioning, okay, how is this gonna work out?

Speaker A:

And that's quite different.

Speaker A:

Sometimes we get discouraged because we hear that the Lord has healing for us.

Speaker A:

He has promises for us.

Speaker A:

He has benefits for us.

Speaker A:

And then when we look at our life, our.

Speaker A:

Our life doesn't always reflect what the Word of God says that we can have or who the Word of God says that we are.

Speaker A:

And it can be tempting if we just look at the natural circumstances to become discouraged and think, I don't know how this is ever going to work out.

Speaker A:

You know, this should give you a little bit of confidence here.

Speaker A:

We don't need to figure out how it's all going to work out.

Speaker A:

We just need to take the Word.

Speaker A:

You know, he sent His Word and healed us, Psalm 107, 20, and believe it.

Speaker A:

Because God needs us to put our faith behind His Word.

Speaker A:

You know, in Hebrews 2, it says, the word of God not did not profit them, because it was not mixed with faith in those who heard it.

Speaker A:

Man, that's a huge statement right there.

Speaker A:

The Word the Lord needs us to put our trust.

Speaker A:

That's our faith.

Speaker A:

Faith is trust and confidence.

Speaker A:

To put our trust and our confidence behind His Word so that he can move that promise from a spiritual realm into a physical realm.

Speaker A:

This is what was happening right here.

Speaker A:

The Holy Spirit, his angel says, the Holy Spirit is going to come upon you.

Speaker A:

This is how it's going to work is what he was saying to her.

Speaker A:

The Holy Spirit is going to come upon you, and the power of the highest will overshadow you.

Speaker A:

And therefore the Holy One who will be born, will be called the Son of God.

Speaker A:

Now listen to your.

Speaker A:

Listen.

Speaker A:

Your cousin Elizabeth has also conceived a son.

Speaker A:

They're not close to each other.

Speaker A:

They're in different towns.

Speaker A:

There wasn't a phone.

Speaker A:

Then they couldn't go on Facebook.

Speaker A:

They couldn't text each other.

Speaker A:

I didn't know the news hadn't traveled yet.

Speaker A:

And this is the sixth month of with her who is declared barren.

Speaker A:

She's six months pregnant by this point.

Speaker A:

This is six months later after the first angelic encounter.

Speaker A:

For with God, nothing will be impossible.

Speaker A:

Now, I like what it says in the amplified and the amplified.

Speaker A:

Luke 1:37, which is what I'm reading now, is he puts it this way.

Speaker A:

He says, for with God nothing is ever impossible.

Speaker A:

And no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.

Speaker A:

Oh, I like that.

Speaker A:

You need to.

Speaker A:

You need to write that one down, okay?

Speaker A:

Because it changes things.

Speaker A:

We can.

Speaker A:

When we look back at our circumstance that we're in today and we start writing this scripture over the top of it, it changes things.

Speaker A:

You have a word from God.

Speaker A:

Maybe this is a sickness.

Speaker A:

Maybe this is a doctor's report that you are facing down right now.

Speaker A:

You write this scripture over the top of it.

Speaker A:

Okay?

Speaker A:

I'm going to read this again.

Speaker A:

Luke 1:37.

Speaker A:

Read it in the amplified.

Speaker A:

It says, for with God, nothing is ever impossible.

Speaker A:

And no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.

Speaker A:

All the power we need to accomplish every word from God is contained within that same word.

Speaker A:

It's like a seed.

Speaker A:

You know, all of the potential for a seed is contained within that seed, that whole tree.

Speaker A:

You think you take an apple seed, you know, not.

Speaker A:

Maybe.

Speaker A:

Maybe you've been eating an apple for lunch or something, right?

Speaker A:

Get a seed out of the core of that apple.

Speaker A:

They're not particularly big seeds, but yet, you know, the tree that produced that came from a seed.

Speaker A:

When you see an apple seed, you might just see that one seed, but you know, inside that seed is tree growing potential.

Speaker A:

You have tree growing potential on the inside of you.

Speaker A:

You have miracle producing potential.

Speaker A:

On the inside of you.

Speaker A:

You might not look like it.

Speaker A:

On the outside, you might be a pretty small package, right?

Speaker A:

But on the inside of you is more power and more potential than it looks at f. Like, at face value, that's impossible, right?

Speaker A:

You know, from the outside, you might think that's impossible.

Speaker A:

And an apple tree could never fit inside a seed.

Speaker A:

Well, that's the miracle of life.

Speaker A:

There's a miracle of life that all life comes from a seed that's how God set it up.

Speaker A:

It starts with a seed.

Speaker A:

This is why faith is described as a seed, a mustard seed of faith.

Speaker A:

Just a little bit of faith mixed with the word of God.

Speaker A:

Just.

Speaker A:

I, I think God is roaming.

Speaker A:

He says in the scriptures that God is roaming around this earth looking to and fro for people that will believe him.

Speaker A:

I don't know about you, but I'm one of those people that is.

Speaker A:

I believe you, God.

Speaker A:

I will believe you, God.

Speaker A:

I don't care what it looks like, I don't care what it sounds like, I don't care what it smells like.

Speaker A:

I will believe you.

Speaker A:

I'll believe the word that you spoke to me.

Speaker A:

I'll believe this book of promises, this Bible full of promises that you gave to me.

Speaker A:

I'm going to believe them above the circumstances.

Speaker A:

I'm going to believe them about the doctor's report.

Speaker A:

I'm going to believe them above my, my bank balance.

Speaker A:

You know, just the other day I was thinking about, we have an event coming up in January, the Abundant Life event in Phoenix.

Speaker A:

You need to register for that.

Speaker A:

It's about six weeks away.

Speaker A:

And you know, we have hotel, you have the conference center, we have the av.

Speaker A:

You know, we have some big bills coming in for that.

Speaker A:

And I was literally just thinking, lord, this seems impossible.

Speaker A:

How is this going to happen?

Speaker A:

How are we going to pay for this?

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

And then I remembered, I don't have to worry about that because it's.

Speaker A:

The Lord's got a bill.

Speaker A:

The.

Speaker A:

It was his idea.

Speaker A:

He told us to do it.

Speaker A:

He told, and he's going to pay for it.

Speaker A:

And guess what?

Speaker A:

Literally five minutes later, I get an email from somebody that says that they're donating $20,000 towards the cost of that event.

Speaker A:

That was a quick answer to prayer.

Speaker A:

And, but it didn't even happen because I said, lord, please will you provide for this?

Speaker A:

Please, will you, will you, will you show me that you're in this and you're covering the cost?

Speaker A:

No, it happened because I like took the word of God and says, I know you got it covered.

Speaker A:

I believe what you said.

Speaker A:

I don't believe for a deficit.

Speaker A:

I'm not believing for a bill.

Speaker A:

I'm believing for an abundance.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

It's going to be just as you said, man.

Speaker A:

He's got it covered.

Speaker A:

We can write these promises over the top of the diagnosis.

Speaker A:

Look at what Mary said in verse 38.

Speaker A:

I am the servant of the Lord.

Speaker A:

This is in response to what the angel said.

Speaker A:

She says, I am the servant of the Lord.

Speaker A:

May it be unto me.

Speaker A:

Unto me according to your word.

Speaker A:

And the angel departed from her.

Speaker A:

You know, in The Amplified verse 38, puts it this way, it says, then Mary said, behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord.

Speaker A:

Let it be done unto me according to your word, according to what you have said, according to what you have said.

Speaker A:

Let it work its way out in my life according to what you have said.

Speaker A:

Man.

Speaker A:

We need to know what God has said about us.

Speaker A:

We need to know what God says about us.

Speaker A:

We need to know who God says that we are.

Speaker A:

We need to know what God has called us to do, to accomplish.

Speaker A:

We need to know his heart on our situation, right?

Speaker A:

Because when we do, when we know what he has said, then we can come into agreement with that above our circumstances and say, I agree with what you said.

Speaker A:

I like what you said, man.

Speaker A:

Our words are hugely powerful and they need to get on the same side.

Speaker A:

We need to get them on the same side as the word of God to start using our words.

Speaker A:

I read a story yesterday actually, in a book I'm reading, and it was a.

Speaker A:

back in, I think it was like:

Speaker A:

And actually it's not a healing book, but it has a healing testimony and it's a financial book that has a healing testimony.

Speaker A:

And this man's son was born without any ears.

Speaker A:

He just didn't have any openings.

Speaker A:

There was no way.

Speaker A:

They did examinations when he was born and he was completely deaf.

Speaker A:

There was no openings, there was no physical ears.

Speaker A:

There were.

Speaker A:

It was just skin.

Speaker A:

There was no way for the sound from the outside to get to his brain.

Speaker A:

So he was born deaf.

Speaker A:

So they said to the dad, the author of this book, you know, he's just going to be deaf.

Speaker A:

He's going to have to learn how to live as a deaf person in this world.

Speaker A:

But the father knew something else.

Speaker A:

He knew that there was another appalling and he refused.

Speaker A:

I mean, he heard what they said, but he refused to allow that to happen.

Speaker A:

He knew that hearing was, was, was the plan for his son, that, that, that this was, was not normal.

Speaker A:

And he refused to accept it.

Speaker A:

And he says every day he would get down with his lips really close to right, right on the side of his infant son, son's face there.

Speaker A:

And he would speak into his ears.

Speaker A:

Well, he didn't have any ears, but he'd speak into his brain and he'd tell him, you, you know, you have hearing, and this is going to be an asset for you, this is going to be an asset for you.

Speaker A:

This is.

Speaker A:

You have hearing, you can hear.

Speaker A:

You have ears that hear.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

And this is going to be an asset for you.

Speaker A:

And he did that over and over again.

Speaker A:

And every time, he would read him bedtime stories and he'd get close to him and he'd speak to him, and he started treating me.

Speaker A:

In fact, him and his wife refused to treat their child like he had an infirmity, like he had a disability.

Speaker A:

They would.

Speaker A:

And he overcome adversity.

Speaker A:

And you know what happened when he started to hear?

Speaker A:

One day, they realized he's starting to respond from things.

Speaker A:

Now, on the outside, there was no ears, right?

Speaker A:

But they started to realize the very words that the father had been speaking of the child started to come to pass.

Speaker A:

Their child was hearing noises.

Speaker A:

They'd put records on the record player, and immediately he'd run over to the record player and he'd.

Speaker A:

He'd lean on top of the record player.

Speaker A:

He could feel the vibrations.

Speaker A:

He.

Speaker A:

He knew he started to hear and understand and was able to respond and started to speak words.

Speaker A:

Now, it was delayed speech, as you can imagine, it was a little bit more challenging.

Speaker A:

But he started to be able to receive hearing.

Speaker A:

Hearing things.

Speaker A:

Actually hearing things.

Speaker A:

And his son grew up to be able to go to regular school.

Speaker A:

They never put him in a deaf school.

Speaker A:

And he went to college, and he graduated college, and he started working with an organization that started to produce hearing aids.

Speaker A:

Massive breakthrough for people in the deaf community.

Speaker A:

And it started because his father refused to receive the word of the doctors, refused to just take the physical circumstances at face value.

Speaker A:

And he said he knew what the word said, and he started speaking that over his son.

Speaker A:

Man, that is just so powerful.

Speaker A:

So powerful.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

You know, now, that boy never had physical ears grow on the outside of his head, but his hearing was restored to him.

Speaker A:

He began to hear.

Speaker A:

I just thought that that was such a neat story.

Speaker A:

He believed the word of God over the word of the doctor, over the.

Speaker A:

Over what he could even see with his own eyes.

Speaker A:

Let Mary's.

Speaker A:

Just like Mary said, I'm your handmaiden of the Lord.

Speaker A:

Let it be done unto me according to your word, until according to what you have said.

Speaker A:

We have to know, what does the Lord say?

Speaker A:

Now, these angelic encounters that we're reading about, if you're just joining us, they show us a couple of different responses to the word of the Lord.

Speaker A:

You know, Zechariah, he got to observe the word of the Lord.

Speaker A:

He got to observe it Mary got to participate in it.

Speaker A:

There was the difference.

Speaker A:

She got to participate in it.

Speaker A:

Look at this.

Speaker A:

It says that Mary arose and went quickly to the hill country, to the city of Judah.

Speaker A:

She entered the house of Zechariah, greeted Elizabeth.

Speaker A:

Now, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby leapt in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.

Speaker A:

She spoke out in a loud voice.

Speaker A:

Blessed are you among women.

Speaker A:

Blessed is the fruit of your womb.

Speaker A:

And for why is this granted to me?

Speaker A:

But the mother of my Lord should come to me.

Speaker A:

She recognized immediately who this was in.

Speaker A:

Indeed, as soon as the sound of your greeting came to my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.

Speaker A:

Blessed is she.

Speaker A:

And this is my most, one of my favorite, my favorite scriptures, but very much one of my favorite scriptures.

Speaker A:

This is Luke 1, verse 45.

Speaker A:

Blessed is she who believe, for there will be a completion or a fulfillment of those things which were spiritual spoken to her by the Lord.

Speaker A:

Man, you know, when we, when we hear the word of the Lord and our soul starts to magnify the word of the Lord, our spirit starts to come alive.

Speaker A:

Our spirit starts to leap.

Speaker A:

Our baby, our spirit baby, if you like, starts to, to leap around.

Speaker A:

There's what we call the inner witness.

Speaker A:

Our spirit bears witness with what our soul is meditating on.

Speaker A:

You know, when we get our soul, that's our mind, our will and our emotions to start coming into agreement with the word of God over a circumstance.

Speaker A:

Our spirit bears witness with that.

Speaker A:

And literally there is a power release.

Speaker A:

You know, Mary was able to conceive Jesus by the spirit of God because she first believed and secondly because she said so.

Speaker A:

Think about that.

Speaker A:

There's a couple of powerful things that we need to hear here.

Speaker A:

Okay?

Speaker A:

She believed and then she said so.

Speaker A:

See, we can believe a lot of things, but if we just believe it and keep it in, nothing's going to change.

Speaker A:

She believed it and she said so.

Speaker A:

Let it be unto me according to your word.

Speaker A:

We need to say that about God's report.

Speaker A:

We need to get our, our X rays out, our blood test results, our.

Speaker A:

Our medical files out.

Speaker A:

Whatever it is that's, that's producing a false witness, get it out and say, let it be unto this report according to what you said.

Speaker A:

Lord, man, we can, we can change what is written in those reports with our very words.

Speaker A:

Man.

Speaker A:

This is powerful because he said so.

Speaker A:

Because I put more value on the word of the Lord than I do on the circumstances.

Speaker A:

More value on the word of the Lord than on the report of the doctor.

Speaker A:

We can Change things with our belief and with our words.

Speaker A:

You know, our faith, when it's mixed with the word of God, it's going to become profitable to us.

Speaker A:

We're going to profit something.

Speaker A:

This is really powerful, you know, Jesus.

Speaker A:

Let me just turn on over here.

Speaker A:

I'm going to show you something.

Speaker A:

How does this.

Speaker A:

Well, first of all, how does this apply to healing?

Speaker A:

How does this apply to healing?

Speaker A:

Well, because Jesus is the propitiation where this is talking about the birth of Jesus.

Speaker A:

Jesus was the one that was spoken into being that Mary believed that caused his.

Speaker A:

His.

Speaker A:

His birth to manifest.

Speaker A:

And then he was the one that.

Speaker A:

That died for us.

Speaker A:

So that by his stripes we were healed.

Speaker A:

That's what it says in second Peter 2.

Speaker A:

24.

Speaker A:

By his stripes, he was the sacrifice.

Speaker A:

He was the payment for us to be well and saved and healed and delivered and all of those things.

Speaker A:

There's a package deal, you know, when we understand that God is with us, this is a big deal.

Speaker A:

You know, we talk about this at Christmas.

Speaker A:

Emmanuel, Emmanuel.

Speaker A:

God is with us.

Speaker A:

But we can sing God is with us.

Speaker A:

But do we really know what it means to have God with us?

Speaker A:

You see, when this was written, when the scriptures were written, it was a different time that we're living in even now.

Speaker A:

You know, at that time, you know, they didn't know that they were going to have the spirit of God being able to live and dwell with them permanently.

Speaker A:

We have more today than the people that wrote most of the scriptures.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

Most of the scriptures.

Speaker A:

We live in a different time.

Speaker A:

We said, with God, nothing will be impossible with God.

Speaker A:

Mary was with God.

Speaker A:

We are with God.

Speaker A:

Emmanuel.

Speaker A:

Is God with us?

Speaker A:

They were with God.

Speaker A:

But today God is with us, Emmanuel.

Speaker A:

God with us.

Speaker A:

I want to show you this.

Speaker A:

In fact, I'm going to look it up on my phone.

Speaker A:

It'll be easier.

Speaker A:

But this was prophesied about.

Speaker A:

Jesus's birth was prophesied about.

Speaker A:

And this is in Isaiah 7.

Speaker A:

It says in verse 14, Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign.

Speaker A:

And behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name.

Speaker A:

Emmanuel.

Speaker A:

This is powerful.

Speaker A:

And then it goes on to describe.

Speaker A:

And actually John the Baptist, butter and honey shall he eat.

Speaker A:

And different things.

Speaker A:

Okay?

Speaker A:

But a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and he shall call his name.

Speaker A:

Emmanuel.

Speaker A:

Emmanuel.

Speaker A:

God is with us, man.

Speaker A:

You know, I remember a time this really kind of.

Speaker A:

This really kind of just played out in our life.

Speaker A:

We were actually.

Speaker A:

This isn't a healing testimony, but we were moving to Bible School.

Speaker A:

And this is after our daughter Hannah was healed.

Speaker A:

And, you know, when you're moving across the country to a town that you've never been to before, there was a lot of things that were completely unknown to us, a lot of just things in the natural.

Speaker A:

And, you know, when our children were 3, 3, 4 and 5 at the time, they all needed to be in school.

Speaker A:

Things start a little earlier in England when the kids go to school.

Speaker A:

But I didn't know anything about this area.

Speaker A:

I didn't have a place for us to live.

Speaker A:

We were going to go to college.

Speaker A:

We had a word from God to go to Bible school.

Speaker A:

God spoke to us individually and told us, this is what I want you to do.

Speaker A:

And we knew that we were supposed to go to Bible school.

Speaker A:

But in the natural, all of the circumstances looked like this was a dis.

Speaker A:

Preposterous decision.

Speaker A:

We'd actually only about six months before, moved house anyway, bought a new house, kids had already studied, a new school.

Speaker A:

I mean, you know, Ashley for the first time had some job security.

Speaker A:

You know, it seemed like things were working out.

Speaker A:

We were settled.

Speaker A:

We were in a.

Speaker A:

In a church and everything else.

Speaker A:

And here we are about to uproot our family at what seemed like the worst possible timing, travel halfway across the country to a town that we didn't know where, we didn't have any family or friends there, and start over.

Speaker A:

I mean, it just seemed crazy.

Speaker A:

And I spent a lot of nights, kind of up at night, thinking about this, concerned about this.

Speaker A:

And then in the morning getting on the Internet, trying to, you know, research, trying to find houses to rent, trying to find.

Speaker A:

There was just so many details, a thousand details for a change like that.

Speaker A:

And in the end, I got to the end of myself and I'm like, lord, I. I know what your word says, but I don't know how to make this happen myself.

Speaker A:

And finally the Lord had me where he wanted me.

Speaker A:

He said, oh, good, now leave it to me.

Speaker A:

You see, the problem wasn't the word from the Lord.

Speaker A:

The problem was where I put my But I believe the word of the Lord, but I don't know how this is going to work out.

Speaker A:

And I'm trying to figure it out on my own and in a physical world, something that has a supernatural solution.

Speaker A:

You know, our natural minds are not capable of making a.

Speaker A:

Creating a supernatural solution.

Speaker A:

That supernatural solution has to come from the Holy Spirit.

Speaker A:

And it wasn't until I came to a place of all right, Lord, I believe your word.

Speaker A:

No buts.

Speaker A:

I'm going to Let you do this.

Speaker A:

That finally things started to fall into place and I went to bed that night and said, lord, I'm not going to.

Speaker A:

I'm not going to look at any more houses on the Internet.

Speaker A:

I'm not going to trawl through any more pages on the websites and, you know, relative lists and everything else.

Speaker A:

I'm not going to look for any more schools for my kids.

Speaker A:

I'm not doing any more research.

Speaker A:

I'm not doing any more.

Speaker A:

I'm done.

Speaker A:

I'm at the end of myself.

Speaker A:

Over to you.

Speaker A:

I believe your word.

Speaker A:

Period.

Speaker A:

End of story.

Speaker A:

That's it.

Speaker A:

And I went to sleep.

Speaker A:

Well, in the middle of the night I woke up.

Speaker A:

It says middle of the night.

Speaker A:

It was early hours of the morning.

Speaker A:

I woke up and out of my mouth, I sat bolt upright in bed and I just came.

Speaker A:

Out of my mouth came the word Emmanuel.

Speaker A:

Emmanuel.

Speaker A:

And, and I think I was so loud, I woke Ashley up too.

Speaker A:

He's like, amen, God is with us.

Speaker A:

I mean, it was the middle of the night.

Speaker A:

Amen, God is with us.

Speaker A:

Oh, yay, honey, that's really nice.

Speaker A:

No, no, no, you don't understand.

Speaker A:

The Lord has given me an answer.

Speaker A:

The word is Emmanuel.

Speaker A:

Emmanuel.

Speaker A:

I thought so.

Speaker A:

Now I knew it was my time God had spoken.

Speaker A:

So I went back down onto the computer and I opened a tab, one I'd never seen before, and I typed in the word Emmanuel.

Speaker A:

Well, what popped up was the name of a, of a elementary school, a primary school, and it happened to be a Christian school in the town that we were moving to.

Speaker A:

Now there aren't many Christian schools in England.

Speaker A:

It's not as common as in, you know, in America maybe.

Speaker A:

And this was a private school.

Speaker A:

Now, usually private schools in England are super, super, super, super expensive.

Speaker A:

Really, only rich people, elite, you know, the aristocracy could send their kids to private school.

Speaker A:

Okay?

Speaker A:

The average person couldn't afford to do that.

Speaker A:

And I thought, well, Lord, this is a Christian school and it's a private school.

Speaker A:

Where could it possibly be?

Speaker A:

Oh, it happened to be in the very town, very close to the Bible college that we were moving to.

Speaker A:

Suddenly I realized, ah, God actually has a plan.

Speaker A:

Then I started to say, okay, now I know the school that you're going to and Lord, I don't know how we're going to pay for it.

Speaker A:

Well, it turned out it was means tested.

Speaker A:

It didn't run like a regular school.

Speaker A:

Private school ran.

Speaker A:

It was based on income and we were going to be students.

Speaker A:

So that was going to be very affordable.

Speaker A:

And then I said, lord, okay, I really.

Speaker A:

I believe your word.

Speaker A:

I believe your word.

Speaker A:

Is there a house?

Speaker A:

Is it?

Speaker A:

Okay, I want you to look for a house.

Speaker A:

This time I was doing it differently.

Speaker A:

So I opened a new tab on the website, and right there I've been trolling.

Speaker A:

But for days I had been trolling and trawling and trawling, looking for a house for our family, looking for a school for our kids, and nothing had come up.

Speaker A:

All of a sudden, I get the word of the Lord, just let him do it.

Speaker A:

And things start to fall into place.

Speaker A:

You know, where there has been, oh, this is impossible.

Speaker A:

Where there has been roadblocks, where there has been no after, no after, no closed door after closed door, dead end after dead end.

Speaker A:

You know what, with man, things are impossible, but not so with God.

Speaker A:

With God, nothing is impossible.

Speaker A:

This time I was with God.

Speaker A:

This time I approached the same situation with God, rather than Carly in her own flesh trying to help God out.

Speaker A:

And when I, when I opened that, that, that, that tab there, and I put in, you know, in the search bar what I was looking for, what kind of house I was looking for, right at the top, the very first house that came up on the list was a bright pink house, an old Victorian house.

Speaker A:

And I looked at it and it was a big house with lots of bedrooms, more than we had been looking for.

Speaker A:

And it was really close, in the same vicinity of where we needed to be.

Speaker A:

And like, wow, Lord, you know, you're sorting this out.

Speaker A:

He says, yeah, call them up, call them up.

Speaker A:

I thought, and even the price was a good price.

Speaker A:

It was half the price of houses that I had been looking at and surround.

Speaker A:

It seemed way cheap for the rest of the neighborhood.

Speaker A:

And I looked on the pictures online.

Speaker A:

This just seemed too good to be true.

Speaker A:

So I called them up.

Speaker A:

Now, this was in the, this is probably in, I know, maybe may time.

Speaker A:

Maybe May, May, June time or something.

Speaker A:

And I didn't need that house for a couple of months, right?

Speaker A:

And all of the houses that I'd been looking for, they were like, available now.

Speaker A:

Available now, right?

Speaker A:

And I couldn't, it was too soon.

Speaker A:

I couldn't, I couldn't get when the timing wasn't going to work out.

Speaker A:

So I phoned them up and, and they, I said to her, I want to inquire about this house on this road, Broadway North.

Speaker A:

And they said, you know, okay, well, when are you looking to move in?

Speaker A:

And I explained our timeline and, you know, everything that was going on.

Speaker A:

And, and they said, oh, yeah, no, that house Is not available.

Speaker A:

I said, that house is not available.

Speaker A:

No, that's not.

Speaker A:

That's not available.

Speaker A:

But I said, but it's on your website.

Speaker A:

And I stopped short of saying, but the Lord told me to phone you.

Speaker A:

And he said, no, we're sorry.

Speaker A:

That house is not available to rent anymore.

Speaker A:

And they hung up on me.

Speaker A:

They put the phone down, and I was so shocked.

Speaker A:

I'm like, but, Lord, this is the house that you told me to phone up about?

Speaker A:

He says, yes, it hasn't changed.

Speaker A:

I'm like, but they hung up on me.

Speaker A:

They told me this house was not available.

Speaker A:

But you said, he says, yes, call them back.

Speaker A:

I said, but, Lord, I've just put the phone down.

Speaker A:

He says, yes, call them back.

Speaker A:

I'm like, okay, they're gonna think I'm absolutely crazy.

Speaker A:

But sure enough, I picked the phone up, dialed the number, and I called them back.

Speaker A:

I said, hello, it's me again.

Speaker A:

I'm calling about this house, Broadway north.

Speaker A:

And they said, oh, yes, we can help you with that.

Speaker A:

It was so weird.

Speaker A:

It was the same person on the phone.

Speaker A:

I could tell by the voice it was the same address.

Speaker A:

Nothing had changed.

Speaker A:

But this time, oh, no.

Speaker A:

Everything was A yes.

Speaker A:

Whereas 30 seconds later, earlier, everything was a no.

Speaker A:

It was almost like this person had just morphed into somebody else.

Speaker A:

He said, oh, yes, that's fine.

Speaker A:

I said, so it's available, but I won't need.

Speaker A:

It's available now, but I don't need to move into it for two months.

Speaker A:

Is that a problem?

Speaker A:

Oh, no, don't worry about.

Speaker A:

We'll hold it for you.

Speaker A:

You'll hold it for me?

Speaker A:

She was so nice on the phone that, I mean, I just.

Speaker A:

I just couldn't get my.

Speaker A:

My mind around it.

Speaker A:

Everything that was a yes.

Speaker A:

Everything that was impossible.

Speaker A:

No, absolutely not.

Speaker A:

Suddenly had turned around into, oh, yeah, no problem.

Speaker A:

We can do that.

Speaker A:

Anything else that you need, man, that is a testimony.

Speaker A:

We moved into that house.

Speaker A:

Everything that the children had been believing for, even down to the color of paint on the bedroom walls, was what they were believing for, man.

Speaker A:

It was.

Speaker A:

It was such a fun house.

Speaker A:

The whole.

Speaker A:

The time that we were at Bible college and then they went to Emmanuel Christian School.

Speaker A:

It was so funny.

Speaker A:

We went for the interview at the school, you know, the parent onboarding thing, and they're like, can we just ask you, how did you hear about the school?

Speaker A:

Was it a radio ad?

Speaker A:

Was it an advert in the newspaper?

Speaker A:

You know, we see that you've come, you know, quite a long distance.

Speaker A:

The other side of the country.

Speaker A:

How did you hear about us?

Speaker A:

Was it word of mouth?

Speaker A:

Do you know someone at the school?

Speaker A:

And I'm like, no, it was the Holy Spirit.

Speaker A:

And then when they looked and their mouths hit the floor, like, what do you mean?

Speaker A:

It was the Holy Spirit says, the Holy Spirit gave me a dream.

Speaker A:

The Lord told me the name of the school.

Speaker A:

I just looked you up and here you are.

Speaker A:

They said, well, we need to add a category here on our marketing questionnaire.

Speaker A:

Holy Spirit, yes, you know what?

Speaker A:

You're doing something good if the Holy Spirit recommends you.

Speaker A:

Man, God wants to work.

Speaker A:

He wants to turn your life around.

Speaker A:

But he needs you to hear his report first and then choose to believe it.

Speaker A:

He needs your agreement.

Speaker A:

He's already said his word.

Speaker A:

The question is, will you hear his word today and say, I believe it.

Speaker A:

I believe it.

Speaker A:

You know, angels have already been dispatched on your behalf to minister to you, to, to make a way for you.

Speaker A:

I'm telling you, there is more going on behind the scenes than you are aware of.

Speaker A:

We, we, we have a mighty God who's making things possible where everyone else says there's impossible.

Speaker A:

You know, my last angel story, because it's too good not to tell.

Speaker A:

You know, sometimes we get to see angels.

Speaker A:

We're talking about angelic encounters today.

Speaker A:

If you haven't, if you haven't seen.

Speaker A:

If you just joined in, rather.

Speaker A:

But, you know, sometimes we get to see angels, sometimes we don't.

Speaker A:

It's really not a big deal.

Speaker A:

They're just out there doing the Lord's work.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

They don't need a whole lot of recognition.

Speaker A:

But occasionally we may be able to see into a realm where we can, we can actually see them with their own eyes.

Speaker A:

And I've seen angels three times, maybe four times in my entire life.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

So not, not a whole lot and not when I'm looking for them.

Speaker A:

I never go around, you know, it's not like train spotting, angel spotting.

Speaker A:

I'm not asking the Lord to show me them.

Speaker A:

It's not important.

Speaker A:

It's almost like it's just a cherry on the cake.

Speaker A:

That's all it is.

Speaker A:

But this was an interesting one, so I'm going to share it with you.

Speaker A:

There's.

Speaker A:

There's all, like I was saying, there's always more going on.

Speaker A:

There's always more, more on your side.

Speaker A:

There's always, you know, you've got God on your side.

Speaker A:

There's always greater power on your side than there is.

Speaker A:

That's against you.

Speaker A:

It's just a matter of perception and what you can see whether you can see it or not.

Speaker A:

Well, one time I'm at home, I'm at home and our kids were just babies.

Speaker A:

Hannah was literally a newborn and then we had two toddlers.

Speaker A:

You know, we had kids a year apart.

Speaker A:

So we had a one year old, a two year old and a newborn.

Speaker A:

It was a really busy season.

Speaker A:

But as I'm at home there and have the worship music playing in the kitchen.

Speaker A:

We had an employee of our company back then who had stolen cars from us.

Speaker A:

We had a car dealership and he'd stolen cars from us.

Speaker A:

And it was a whole long story, but we had to fire him.

Speaker A:

And so he did not take that very well and started to cause as much trouble as he could.

Speaker A:

Write letters, you know, tell lies about us.

Speaker A:

I mean, you know, he was trying to ruin our reputation and just to inspite.

Speaker A:

To really get back for being fired for the fact that he stole cars from us.

Speaker A:

But, you know, through all that, the Lord was with us.

Speaker A:

And we walked honorably and especially Ashley loved this guy and just walked out with such grace.

Speaker A:

Um, but that, I think it was honestly just eating this man up.

Speaker A:

But one of the things that he did, he was in a lot of trouble with some debt collectors that were pretty.

Speaker A:

These weren't like, yeah, you know, your, your banks, right?

Speaker A:

These weren't legitimate loans.

Speaker A:

These were loans from, from pretty.

Speaker A:

From the, the criminal underworld put it like that.

Speaker A:

And so when the debt became due, they came to collect it from him and he didn't have the money.

Speaker A:

And they were, you know, these were violent people.

Speaker A:

And so they threatened him.

Speaker A:

So he said, I don't have the money, but you go to this address and they have your money.

Speaker A:

That's where your money is at.

Speaker A:

So he passed on our details for them to come and collect on the debt.

Speaker A:

Well, that happened to be our address, our home address.

Speaker A:

So when Ashley was at work, this man came round to collect on his debt and he started beating on the front door of our house.

Speaker A:

Now the only people at home are me and the three babies and I've got the worship music and I'm playing.

Speaker A:

We're just praising the Lord.

Speaker A:

And all of a sudden the door sounds like it's going to be beaten down.

Speaker A:

I go to the, to the front door and I'm telling you, in that moment, the peace of God was evident in my hallway.

Speaker A:

It was evident in my kitchen.

Speaker A:

Now when I think back, you know, opening the door to somebody that's trying to aggressively beat the door down and break in violently into your Home.

Speaker A:

And who's shouting and screaming terrible things about what they're going to do to you probably isn't the most natural response in the world.

Speaker A:

But you know, when, when you're in the spirit with things, when your mind is stayed upon the word of God, you know, in a moment of crisis, he'll direct you and into acting in a way that is contrary to the.

Speaker A:

To the world.

Speaker A:

So I opened the door and out came my mouth.

Speaker A:

Words of boldness.

Speaker A:

Because this man did not have authority over me.

Speaker A:

This man was an advice of the enemy that was seeking to kill, steal and destroy.

Speaker A:

But here's something that we need to understand about the enemy.

Speaker A:

When he comes to attack us, he is trying to convince us that we do not have the authority that we possess because he actually wants our authority.

Speaker A:

He's trying to.

Speaker A:

Intimidation tactics.

Speaker A:

This is what this man was doing.

Speaker A:

He was trying intimidation tactics.

Speaker A:

But with me, there was far more with me in, in the Lord than there was on the side of this man that was trying to break into a home and do destructive, terrible things.

Speaker A:

And so as I opened the door, out of my mouth came words of boldness.

Speaker A:

And I just remember saying, who do you think you are knocking on my door like that?

Speaker A:

Who do you think you are coming to my house?

Speaker A:

I just started speaking to him and telling him what to do and where to go.

Speaker A:

I mean, it was the authority of the Lord.

Speaker A:

With every word that came out of my mouth, you would have thought I'd have taken a swung and hit at this man.

Speaker A:

He stumbled backwards.

Speaker A:

His head was flinging to the left and the right like I was swinging punches.

Speaker A:

But I never hit him, I never touched him.

Speaker A:

And he stumbled backwards until he was right at the end of the garden path.

Speaker A:

And he was literally hanging on to the gate post of our garden to hold himself up for support.

Speaker A:

And as he looked at me, he looked to the left and to the right and he had terror in his eyes.

Speaker A:

He had seen something that other people could not see.

Speaker A:

What I believe he saw was the angels of the Lord that were either side of me.

Speaker A:

He took a last look and he took off running down the street.

Speaker A:

We never saw or heard from that man again.

Speaker A:

But when the police came round, they told us what kind of man that he was and that he was a wanted.

Speaker A:

A wanted criminal.

Speaker A:

Now, you know, they.

Speaker A:

Even the world, even the world, even demons can see the presence of God.

Speaker A:

That's on us and in us, even that's evident to people.

Speaker A:

What we need to be able to do is see it for ourselves.

Speaker A:

And we do.

Speaker A:

And that begins with understanding the word of God, knowing what the Lord says to us, esteeming that more highly than the circumstances, and affirming that with.

Speaker A:

With our words.

Speaker A:

You know, when Mary met that angel, the reason it was a different outcome even from when Zechariah talked to the angel was because she believed it and she confirmed it.

Speaker A:

She believed it and she confirmed it.

Speaker A:

Lord, I believe.

Speaker A:

Let it be unto me according to your word.

Speaker A:

Not according to my natural circumstances, not according to my limited belief system, not according to other people's opinions or circumstances.

Speaker A:

Lord, let it be unto me according to your word.

Speaker A:

Now, I believe that same word is in effect in you today.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

He's already sent his word.

Speaker A:

He's Emmanuel.

Speaker A:

God with us.

Speaker A:

You know, this isn't just for Christmas.

Speaker A:

I think it's funny, you know, when we.

Speaker A:

When I was a little girl, I didn't grow up to be a. I didn't grow up in a Christian home.

Speaker A:

And we used to have school nativity plays in our school.

Speaker A:

And, you know, I always thought that there was the reason that there was no room at the inn and Jesus had to be born in a stable in a manger was because it was busy season.

Speaker A:

You know, it was Christmas.

Speaker A:

All the hotels are busy at Christmas, right?

Speaker A:

You know, God is with us.

Speaker A:

Not just for Christmas, right?

Speaker A:

Not just.

Speaker A:

Not just for this season of the year.

Speaker A:

He's always with us.

Speaker A:

God is with you today.

Speaker A:

He's with you in your circumstances.

Speaker A:

He's with you in your.

Speaker A:

In your hospital room.

Speaker A:

He's with you as you go about your daily business, as you take your kids to school, as you sit at your office desk, as you sit on your sofa at night, as you drive in your car, Right?

Speaker A:

As you.

Speaker A:

As you hold your sick child.

Speaker A:

He's with you.

Speaker A:

He's with you in your distress, in your discomfort, in your despair.

Speaker A:

He's with you in your happy moments, your sad moments, your best moments.

Speaker A:

He's with you.

Speaker A:

We don't need to figure it out.

Speaker A:

Let me help you here.

Speaker A:

Quit trying to figure it out.

Speaker A:

That's a word for someone right now.

Speaker A:

Quit trying to figure it out.

Speaker A:

Bless me.

Speaker A:

Quit trying to figure it out.

Speaker A:

God's got you.

Speaker A:

He's got you.

Speaker A:

Just take him at his word.

Speaker A:

He can be trusted.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

And then that scripture.

Speaker A:

I'm encourage you to do this.

Speaker A:

If you have a problem, if you have a circumstance, you might want to write it on a.

Speaker A:

On a piece of paper.

Speaker A:

And then over the top of it, write that scripture.

Speaker A:

Psalm 1.

Speaker A:

Not Psalm Luke 1:37 in the Amplified.

Speaker A:

I read that to you.

Speaker A:

Luke 1:37 in the Amplned.

Speaker A:

You know, so powerful we need to be taking the word of God and literally applying our words to it.

Speaker A:

Let those things come off our.

Speaker A:

Our lips.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker A:

Luke 137 in Amplified.

Speaker A:

We start with this.

Speaker A:

We'll finish with this.

Speaker A:

For with God nothing is ever impossible.

Speaker A:

No word from God shall ever be without power or impossible of fulfillment.

Speaker A:

No word from God is ever going to be without power or without or impossible or no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.

Speaker A:

In every word of God is all of the power that is necessary to fulfill it.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Jesus.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord, that you've sent your word to us today.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord, that you love us in spite of who we are.

Speaker A:

Even that we don't, even though we.

Speaker A:

We mess up.

Speaker A:

That we don't do things perfectly.

Speaker A:

That we don't have it all down.

Speaker A:

That we, that we are in doubt sometimes and unbelief sometimes.

Speaker A:

And that we.

Speaker A:

We don't give you the time and attention that you deserve.

Speaker A:

Lord, you know, we don't do things perfectly.

Speaker A:

But Lord, thank you that you have.

Speaker A:

You say to us blessed and highly favored ones that your grace is with us in spite of us.

Speaker A:

That your word will work the moment that we choose to believe it.

Speaker A:

The moment that we choose to let it come out of our mouth.

Speaker A:

And right now, today, Lord, we say, let it be unto us according to your word.

Speaker A:

Let it be unto me according to your word.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

We believe and we receive your healing power in our body today.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Let's begin to pray in the spirit and then we'll pray for your progress.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Thank you.

Speaker A:

Thank you.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord, that your power is flowing through us.

Speaker A:

That it is flowing through us.

Speaker A:

There are people right now that I sense you have real turmoil in your soul.

Speaker A:

There's real turmoil in the soul.

Speaker A:

But the Lord wants you to be people of peace.

Speaker A:

He wants you to be at rest.

Speaker A:

He wants you to know that you have authority even over your thought life.

Speaker A:

You know, Proverbs says, as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

Speaker A:

Proverbs 23:7.

Speaker A:

As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

Speaker A:

Think on things that glorify God.

Speaker A:

Think on things that are of good virtue, that are.

Speaker A:

That are noble, that are lovely.

Speaker A:

Think on things that are praiseworthy.

Speaker A:

Thank you.

Speaker A:

As you start to think on those things, I tell you, the enemy hates a peaceful believer.

Speaker A:

He just doesn't know what to do with you when you refuse to be moved from a position of peace.

Speaker A:

When your mind is stayed on him, your mind is kept in perfect peace.

Speaker A:

That's Isaiah 26.

Speaker A:

3.

Speaker A:

He who keeps his mind stayed upon the Lord is kept in perfect peace.

Speaker A:

There's no demonic power in hell that can influence a believer that is in a position of peace.

Speaker A:

It's almost like the.

Speaker A:

It's almost like you're a Teflon pan and the enemy just can't stick to you.

Speaker A:

He just.

Speaker A:

You become that and you become unstickable.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Refuse to be moved from.

Speaker A:

From a position of peace.

Speaker A:

Refuse to be moved.

Speaker A:

Say, lord, I thank you that you're with me.

Speaker A:

I thank you that you're with me.

Speaker A:

I thank you that he that is in me is greater than he that is in the world.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

That.

Speaker A:

No, there's.

Speaker A:

Right now, there's.

Speaker A:

There are some accusations that have been flung around, but I hear the Lord saying, they're just not going to stick.

Speaker A:

They're not going to stick.

Speaker A:

There's lies that have been spoken about you by people that.

Speaker A:

That you love.

Speaker A:

But I hear the Lord saying, they're just not going to stick.

Speaker A:

It's going to be.

Speaker A:

You know what today's news is?

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

Is.

Speaker A:

Is tomorrow's trash.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

Tomorrow.

Speaker A:

In England, we used to say, today's news is tomorrow's chip papers.

Speaker A:

That's because they used to write wrap fish and chips in yesterday's newspapers.

Speaker A:

In other words, it's good for nothing.

Speaker A:

It's just.

Speaker A:

It's just to be discarded.

Speaker A:

What is so big today is going to be old news tomorrow.

Speaker A:

It just won't stick.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord, that you're with us.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord, that you're for us.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Thank you.

Speaker A:

I really feel like there are some people that you've been focused so much on what the enemy is doing.

Speaker A:

Then it's almost like the power of the enemy has become stronger in your mindset than the power of God that's on the inside of you.

Speaker A:

And you know, we know the enemy is.

Speaker A:

Is real.

Speaker A:

He roams around as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

Speaker A:

But there's a balance.

Speaker A:

And the more attention that you give to him, the enemy and what he's doing, the bigger that he becomes.

Speaker A:

It's almost like a magnifying glass.

Speaker A:

Whenever you take a magnifying glass and you hover over something, it makes that image bigger.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

Whatever you magnify becomes bigger in your estimation.

Speaker A:

Quit making the plans.

Speaker A:

Of the enemy and the actions of the enemy bigger than they really are.

Speaker A:

Quit magnifying them.

Speaker A:

Quit giving them so much attention.

Speaker A:

Quit giving them so much of your thought life, even your prayer life.

Speaker A:

Oh, gosh, that's for somebody.

Speaker A:

You've been spending more time rebuking the enemy than you have praising the Lord.

Speaker A:

That's a problem, right?

Speaker A:

You're actually, it's counterproductive.

Speaker A:

You're empowering the thing that you want to destroy.

Speaker A:

You know, and part of that really is because we don't believe that that's a defeated foe.

Speaker A:

You know, if something came against us.

Speaker A:

I'll give you an example.

Speaker A:

Okay.

Speaker A:

I was in.

Speaker A:

I was on a mission trip one time in Russia, and there was a situation I got woken up to deal with in the middle of the night and somebody was sick.

Speaker A:

And I went.

Speaker A:

And as I went into the.

Speaker A:

The room there to pray for the.

Speaker A:

It was a baby that was sick.

Speaker A:

As I went into the room there to pray for the baby that was sick, the Lord spoke to me and I could feel coldness in there.

Speaker A:

And the Lord says, this is demonic.

Speaker A:

This is not.

Speaker A:

This is not physical.

Speaker A:

This is demonic.

Speaker A:

And the baby was screeching and screeching and screeching.

Speaker A:

It just wouldn't stop.

Speaker A:

And so, you know, we, the Lord instructed me, just pray.

Speaker A:

It didn't say, didn't say, speak to the devil, command it to go, speak to the demon and command it to leave.

Speaker A:

Because they kind of like the attention.

Speaker A:

He said, read Psalm 91.

Speaker A:

So I got Psalm 91 out.

Speaker A:

I read it out in that room, their baby went to sleep.

Speaker A:

The problem was solved.

Speaker A:

I went back to my room.

Speaker A:

And as I went back into my room, suddenly my room felt very dark and very cold.

Speaker A:

Whatever was in that room I went in had shifted now into my room.

Speaker A:

I'm like, oh, I see your game.

Speaker A:

I get down under my covers.

Speaker A:

It's very, very cold in there now.

Speaker A:

And it's so dark.

Speaker A:

It is much, much darker than it was before.

Speaker A:

Couldn't even see my hand in front of my face.

Speaker A:

And suddenly as I'm laying there in a cold, pitch dark room, fear started to creep over me like a wave.

Speaker A:

I'm like, I recognize this.

Speaker A:

This is an intimidation tactic.

Speaker A:

This is no different from that man that was trying to beat my door down.

Speaker A:

It's just, it has a different appearance, same manifesto, different manifestation.

Speaker A:

And so I remember I said to the Lord, what is this?

Speaker A:

What is this darkness?

Speaker A:

What is this fear?

Speaker A:

What is this cold?

Speaker A:

He says, don't worry, it's just A demon.

Speaker A:

It's just a demon.

Speaker A:

So I said that out my life.

Speaker A:

You know, the best thing you can do is speak out your mouth.

Speaker A:

Oh, it's just, it's just.

Speaker A:

Let's, let's make, let's, let's minimize it.

Speaker A:

It's just a demon.

Speaker A:

And I rolled over, pulled the COVID up to my, my neck and I went to sleep.

Speaker A:

I didn't spend all night binding and loosing and, and take.

Speaker A:

Trying to take down the powers of darkness and go through a rosary of incantations.

Speaker A:

I just said, oh, it's just a demon.

Speaker A:

Is that all you've got?

Speaker A:

Really?

Speaker A:

I'm going to sleep.

Speaker A:

What an absolute insult to the enemy.

Speaker A:

When not only do you fail to give him the attention and the estimation that he's looking for, you just blatantly ignore him and go to sleep.

Speaker A:

I encourage you spend more time focusing on what the Lord is doing than you do on what the enemy is trying to get you to focus on.

Speaker A:

Father God, I thank you that you've given us all authority.

Speaker A:

Right now in Jesus name, I take authority over the lies of the enemy.

Speaker A:

That they will be brought to light and disseminated.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name.

Speaker A:

We just command those.

Speaker A:

There's almost like a fog in somebody's house.

Speaker A:

I literally see a fog in somebody's house.

Speaker A:

In somebody's house right now.

Speaker A:

We command that to leave.

Speaker A:

We command that out of there in Jesus name.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Thank you Lord.

Speaker A:

Thank you Lord.

Speaker A:

Open the ears of the, of the heart of hearing, Lord.

Speaker A:

Thank you Lord.

Speaker A:

Right now we command hearing to be restored to people.

Speaker A:

We command ears to be open.

Speaker A:

Ears to hear in Jesus name.

Speaker A:

Ears to hear.

Speaker A:

I thank you Lord.

Speaker A:

The ears here is.

Speaker A:

You are created to hear.

Speaker A:

Now.

Speaker A:

Here, here, right now.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker A:

Anastasia says they had some stuff manifesting in their house and their husband said, oh, well, it's just a demon.

Speaker A:

Has to go now, off to bed and ignore it.

Speaker A:

I love that.

Speaker A:

See, it's just.

Speaker A:

Kishina Basuda.

Speaker A:

Thank you.

Speaker A:

Thank you Lord for giving us clarity.

Speaker A:

Thank you Holy Spirit, for helping us to see what.

Speaker A:

What See through the lies of the enemy.

Speaker A:

To see him for who he is.

Speaker A:

And nothing.

Speaker A:

He's a.

Speaker A:

You know, our mentor Andrew Wommack says he's a, he's a.

Speaker A:

A zero with the rim knocked off.

Speaker A:

Thank you Lord.

Speaker A:

You know, Isaiah describes the enemy and I forget where it is now, but he, he, he has a conversation.

Speaker A:

He says, oh, are you the one?

Speaker A:

Is that it?

Speaker A:

Are you it?

Speaker A:

That little thing there, that's it.

Speaker A:

You're the enemy that start trying to.

Speaker A:

Been tormenting me, man, you know, he's way smaller, maybe more pathetic than we give him credit for.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

You're so much bigger.

Speaker A:

So much bigger.

Speaker A:

Right now.

Speaker A:

I speak over joints, over bones, over.

Speaker A:

There's a problem with someone's skeletal system with the bones and the joints and the muscles and especially the joints.

Speaker A:

Right now, we command healing into those joints.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name, we command those.

Speaker A:

We command those.

Speaker A:

Those joints to move as they should.

Speaker A:

Move as they should.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Move without pain.

Speaker A:

Thank you.

Speaker A:

There are some.

Speaker A:

There are some.

Speaker A:

This is a word of knowledge, but there are some behaviors that are.

Speaker A:

That have just begun.

Speaker A:

Just began.

Speaker A:

Like a new manifestation of strange behaviors.

Speaker A:

And the Lord just showed me that this is something to do.

Speaker A:

It's a reaction to.

Speaker A:

It's like an allergic reaction.

Speaker A:

There's a.

Speaker A:

The.

Speaker A:

It's an inability to express a problem and to communicate pain.

Speaker A:

So it's coming out as a behavior, but the root cause of it is an allergic reaction to something.

Speaker A:

I think it's.

Speaker A:

It could be in the environment, it could even be something that's ingested, but it's causing a torment that's manifesting in strange behaviors.

Speaker A:

Right now.

Speaker A:

Whatever that is.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Holy Spirit, as you bring clarity.

Speaker A:

Right now, we just command that allergic reaction to be switched off.

Speaker A:

We command that irritation to be switched off.

Speaker A:

We command that hyperallergic reaction to stop Right now.

Speaker A:

Right now.

Speaker A:

Immune system calm down.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name.

Speaker A:

Be at peace.

Speaker A:

Be at peace.

Speaker A:

I speak to that immune system that's in overdrive right now.

Speaker A:

Be at peace.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Right now.

Speaker A:

Inflammation go.

Speaker A:

Pain leave.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Frustration go.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Yeah, Right now there's a pain from the acid.

Speaker A:

Right now.

Speaker A:

We command that acid, that burning, that reflux to leave.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name.

Speaker A:

There is a lot of.

Speaker A:

A lot of sleep disturbances that have been going on.

Speaker A:

Lots of problems with sleep disturbances.

Speaker A:

Right now we command normal, healthy sleep patterns to be restored.

Speaker A:

In Jesus.

Speaker A:

Somebody has.

Speaker A:

You have a problem with really noisy neighbors.

Speaker A:

Right now.

Speaker A:

We come.

Speaker A:

We take authority over noisy noises in the night.

Speaker A:

We command those noises to stop.

Speaker A:

Stop it.

Speaker A:

There's things moving around like furniture.

Speaker A:

I'm hearing, like furniture moving in the night, random doors banging and, you know, noisiness.

Speaker A:

Right now we command that noise to stop.

Speaker A:

We command that disturbances to stop.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

I want to speak particularly.

Speaker A:

There's an autoimmune disease that really has been debilitating and just been going on for decades.

Speaker A:

You've been struggling with an autoimmune disease for decades.

Speaker A:

And it is.

Speaker A:

It causes huge fatigue, it causes pain.

Speaker A:

You're sick and tired of the medicines they give you because the, the side effects are just, just terrible.

Speaker A:

And it's harder to live sometimes with the side effects than it is with the actual symptoms.

Speaker A:

Right now, we just speak to those side effects and I command those to leave.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name, we switch off that response of the body.

Speaker A:

I speak peace over your body right now.

Speaker A:

Peace over your body.

Speaker A:

Every cistern, every organ, every gland in the body functioning as it was created to be in Jesus name.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

Thank you.

Speaker A:

Somebody has taken a scripture to heart that has been manipulated.

Speaker A:

You know, even the enemy knows scriptures and he will use them to his own devices.

Speaker A:

And the scripture is found in Job.

Speaker A:

This is the one that's been manipulated.

Speaker A:

And it says that the thing that feared Job came upon the thing that feared Job feared the most came upon him.

Speaker A:

And this has been rolling around in your mind, and there's almost a blame and a shame that you feel like the circumstances that you're suffering with is because you were afraid of them and you brought it on yourself.

Speaker A:

Well, that's not without some truth.

Speaker A:

Okay?

Speaker A:

But it's not a whole truth.

Speaker A:

And the enemy is using this as a weapon to keep you from receiving healing.

Speaker A:

He's using it like.

Speaker A:

It's almost like that you bought that on yourself mentality.

Speaker A:

You did this, and now this is your lot.

Speaker A:

You know, it's the enemy.

Speaker A:

Ultimately, every sickness and every disease is a result of the enemy.

Speaker A:

He comes up with it, he institution, he installs it.

Speaker A:

And then he tells you it's your fault.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

That's the, that's the narcissistic trappings of the enemy.

Speaker A:

He's the one behind it.

Speaker A:

And then he gaslights you to make you think it's yours in the first place.

Speaker A:

There are some people saying that it's yours.

Speaker A:

So I just.

Speaker A:

I just want to.

Speaker A:

I just want to bring this to the light as the Holy Spirit's revealed it to me.

Speaker A:

It's a lie that you've believed.

Speaker A:

It's the lie of the enemy.

Speaker A:

You know, when that was written.

Speaker A:

Job's the oldest book in the Scriptures.

Speaker A:

When that was written is a time that doesn't apply to you.

Speaker A:

It's not in the.

Speaker A:

It doesn't apply to you in the same way should I say you are.

Speaker A:

You are in.

Speaker A:

You are a New Testament believer.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

And you know, we have the fear of The Lord on the inside.

Speaker A:

That's the reverence of God.

Speaker A:

But we were not created with a capacity for fear.

Speaker A:

Fear for us is just, is just purely faith in the wrong things.

Speaker A:

Fear crept up.

Speaker A:

I have a whole teaching on fear.

Speaker A:

I have a book on fear called fearless, actually.

Speaker A:

But fear was first found in the garden in Genesis, chapter three at the fall.

Speaker A:

You know, when Adam and Eve took the faith, the trust, the confidence that they should have had between them and the Lord, and they put it in the lies of the enemy.

Speaker A:

Fear crept in.

Speaker A:

It says they were naked and afraid.

Speaker A:

Fear crept in.

Speaker A:

Right then when they took the trust that they should have had in the words of the Lord and they leaned more into the words, the lies at the enemy and fear crept up.

Speaker A:

It was misplaced faith.

Speaker A:

Fear is nothing but misplaced faith.

Speaker A:

Stop being afraid of something that's a lie.

Speaker A:

Who cares where this disease came from?

Speaker A:

Who cares where this sickness came from?

Speaker A:

Ultimately, it came from the enemy and it has to leave.

Speaker A:

It has to leave.

Speaker A:

You didn't bring this on yourself.

Speaker A:

The devil is responsible.

Speaker A:

And therefore we need to break that lie right now.

Speaker A:

That you did this or you deserve this in some way that you're not a candidate to healing.

Speaker A:

How do you do that?

Speaker A:

You say, I'm a candidate to receive.

Speaker A:

I'm a candidate for the healing power of God.

Speaker A:

I'm a candidate.

Speaker A:

I don't care what the circumstances are.

Speaker A:

I'm a candidate to receive the healing power of God right now.

Speaker A:

Right now.

Speaker A:

Put your hand on wherever the problem is in your body.

Speaker A:

Put your hand right on it, wherever it is, right now.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name, we release the healing power of God to flow into your body through your hand in Jesus name to touch the very center, the very core, the very heart of the problem right now.

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

Like every Christmas we get sick and it's like it just.

Speaker A:

There's always something that you have really high hopes, but it's almost like you're afraid of being disappointed right now.

Speaker A:

I just break that cycle of negative expectation in Jesus name.

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

And this is.

Speaker A:

This is going to be a prayer for households over Christmas.

Speaker A:

Speaker A:

You're president on our travels.

Speaker A:

As we come together, maybe with friends and family.

Speaker A:

Write it down somewhere.

Speaker A:

And you're going to be looking at the clock and you're going to be thinking, oh, it's getting close.

Speaker A:

It's getting down to the wire.

We're running out of time.

Somebody received one of our healing blankets and they gave it to a friend that was.

Speaker A:

Had cancer and was going through treatment.

Speaker A:

And they said since they received the black.

Speaker A:

The blanket, the cancer is gone and they haven't had to have any more cancer treatments.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

That's because we pray over these blankets and we.

Speaker A:

This is in accordance with the word of God.

Speaker A:

And I'll tell you, when we lay these blankets on people, the healing power of God that was transferred into them through.
