Do you know who you are trying to target with your live video show? A lot of times, people think it’s everyone, but it’s not. Audience identification is a major key in laying the groundwork to success and it is not something you can build overnight.

On this episode, Christian Karasiewicz and Jim Fuhs talk about how you can identify the right audience for your live stream show.

What is an avatar? 

Create a buyer persona or avatar.

You can have multiple avatars (and should)

10 Ways to identify your avatar or buyer persona.

  1. Background - who are they, are they a business person? Male / Female Executive, live streamer?
  2. Identifiers - Are they from a geographic area, moms, dads, entrepreneur, small business owner, etc
  3. Goals
  4. Challenges - what problem are you helping them solve with your show?
  5. Demographics - gender, age, income level
  6. Spends Online Time On - where do they hang out? Social media platforms, etc. Place to promote
  7. Favorite Brands - if you know what brands, you can tie-in to audience building, talk about some of those products, etc
  8. Favorite Websites - backlink, products you use
  9. Favorite Tech - are they mobile vs desktop, Apple vs Android
  10. Interests - sports, retail, family,
