I get this question all the time. Airtable versus Google Sheets, and honestly it does come down to a matter of preference, but Airtable, if you love databases, is the place to be. If you are a big spreadsheet person, love formulas and, and all that type of stuff, then Google Sheets is the place to be. If you are looking for automations.
