Sometimes we tend to believe that God is a stubborn uncooperative friend, but quite the opposite. In this teaching Jesus is illustrating that the Father is NOT like that, but a true loving friend to whom we can bring all our needs and cares. But God also wants us to be persistent when the answer doesn’t come right away. Our persevering in prayer in our midnight season is an expression of relentless faith which pleases Him.
