Shownotes

A unique voice in a town that runs on bullsh*t, Kamran Pasha is a screenwriter, director and novelist who's been working in Hollywood for over 20 years.

His past projects include the Emmy & Golden Globe-nominated "Sleeper Cell" on Showtime Networks, "Kings" on NBC, and "Nikita", "Reign & Roswell", and "New Mexico" on THE CW.

He's published novels such as "Mother of the Believers" and "Shadow of the Swords" at Simon & Schuster. He says that his goal is to "serve and entertain the audience, not 'subvert its expectations' like many in Hollywood."

Kamran has become one of my new favorite people, and he pulls zero punches in this explosive conversation as we cover:

0:02:30 – Being a Muslim in Hollywood

0:08:35 – The Progressive Racism of the Entertainment Industry

0:23:09 – The Smug, Empty Nihilism of Modern Hollywood

0:32:35 – The Power of Story and the Subversion of Heroism

0:41:20 – Communism and Our Failure to Recognize Evil

0:58:10 – The Neglect of Art as a Cornerstone of a Civilizational Collapse

1:16:55 – Industry Collapse and A New Renaissance
