The U.S. Mint is selling 2026 Semiquincentennial President Donald J. Trump $1 coins honoring America’s 250th anniversary. The Philadelphia-minted coins feature Trump on the obverse and the Presidential Seal on the reverse. A special run of 250,000 coins struck July 4 carries a “July 4th” privy mark and was randomly mixed into collector rolls and bags.

Uber is cutting about 3,300 jobs, roughly 10% of its global workforce, in its largest layoffs since the pandemic. CEO Dara Khosrowshahi says the restructuring will reduce management layers, simplify teams and free resources for growth and innovation, including autonomous vehicles. The company is also sharply reducing remote-work positions.

(3) WOODS CHANGING DRIVERS (Golfweek)
Tiger Woods pleaded no contest in Florida to a reduced reckless-driving charge stemming from his March rollover crash. Woods had initially faced DUI with property damage and refusal-to-test charges. Under the plea agreement, his driver’s license is suspended for five years and he was fined; the suspension stems from the reduced driving charges.
