It’s important to understand that our daily call is to submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, for then the devil will flee. The devil will not flee if we are not submitted to God, and we must be honest about which areas of our lives are submitted to Him and which are not.

2) In verse 8, David discusses the scripture’s teaching that if we draw closer to God, He will draw closer to us. God is waiting for us to move towards Him. He has already established the path through Jesus Christ. Now, it’s our responsibility to walk through the door.”
