I talked in a recent podcast episode about how female entrepreneurs can lose up to 25% their potential income, because at the time they take off for school holidays, and there's no official stats to back this up. I don't think it would be inaccurate to suggest that a further five to 10% is lost due to that loss of momentum and the week or two, it takes you to get going again after a break,

even if you don't have children to care for over the summer, it can still feel like quite an unproductive time because you might be on holiday for some of that time. And those you want to connect with and do business with maybe two. It can feel like a time where you don't really get much done. I'm Janet Murray, I'm a content and online business strategist.

And in this episode of the courageous content podcast, I want to share an idea with you that might help you make your summer more productive. And I want to invite you to become part of my co-writers club for the summer for longer, if you like, but you can just join me for the summer months, but first off a bit of a disclaimer,

I am not saying that you shouldn't take a break over summer. You absolutely should. And if you need clarification on that, do have a listen to my podcast episode, please don't give up on your business this summer. I'll link to that in the show notes. But if you know that your productivity is going to drop over the summer and possibly also your revenue and that's something which is a concern to you,

I do think it's worth thinking about how you can offset some of those losses because a while you might have to reduce the amount of time you spend on customer or client facing activities, or even stop completely over the summer. It's actually the perfect time to work on projects and the downtime that you do get. So that might be evenings, weekends, early mornings.

::

I actually would recommend that business owners do still continue to take at least a day, a week to work on their business. So if you can find a way to make that happen, I absolutely would recommend that YouTube. But even if you can't, that doesn't mean that you can't work on a specific project. That's designed to set you up for success.

When you to get back to your desk, office studio, wherever you happen to work. And that's what gave me the idea to run a special challenge over the summer, to help you plan and launch a new product, or we launch an existing one. When things get back to North in September, if you're part of my curators club and have an annual membership,

whatever you like to do over the summer, which is all good and all great. But if you know, you're the kind of person that can take your eye off the ball and you don't want that, then it will be perfect for you. And of course, if you want to get your head back in the game in September launch, or we launched the product,

if you want to kick off the final quarter of your year with good sales and feeling good, because you've had a successful product or service launch. So what kind of results can you expect if you take part in this challenge, if you buy a guest pass for my greatest club, or you take the plunge and you invest a full year and save yourself thousands.

Well, that is of course down to you. Somebody asked me recently whether my strategies were guaranteed and I said, well, my that's guaranteed. The bit that isn't guaranteed is you. And that might sound a bit, I don't know, almost a bit rude, and honestly it's not intended to be, but it is just so true. I'm going to show up,

I'm going to give you a task to do each week. I'm going to give you templates. I'm going to give you guidance. I'm providing a Facebook group where you can chat to other business owners. You're going to get the accountability with the, get it done sessions and the other guided content planning sessions. But ultimately it is up to you. You do have to do the work to get the results,

but more on this in an upcoming podcast episode, I recently ran a 90 day sprint for a digital product launch. And one of the members of that particular challenge, I've got some people who are just finishing up at the moment that Susan, she had an amazing result for her first digital product launch. She's held 19 of her online calls to a wait list of 26.

And you'll learn all about wait lists. If you take part in this challenge and how they can help increase your sales, meaning that she was able to make well over a thousand pounds for a relatively low price product under 50 pounds, her first ever digital product, it's a one-off product. So it didn't take her ages to make. And that's an example of someone who followed the steps,

took the advice. So I believe that's quite possible for anyone. If your product is high ticket, if you sell coaching or consultancy, as long as you follow the steps, you should get results. And if selling one of something or two of something could mean thousands for you, then that's the kind of results that you could expect, but it is obviously relative to what you're selling.

So why isn't this challenge free? Have people run free challenges over the summer? Well, I've learned from experience that people don't always value what they get for free. So if you give somebody something for free and we have a real proof of this, for example, with my lead magnets is that's 80% of people who download them, don't even open them.

So I think if you are really serious about getting results about staying productive over the summer, not losing momentum and launching, or we don't want shipping a product or service in September, then you need some skin in the game. And that aside it's a heck of a lot of content. You're getting a step by step launch plan. You're getting dozens of templates to help you with product research,

planning, email marketing, social media, promotion, sales pages. There is a ton of value, and you're also getting the benefit of my eight plus years of experience launching.
