Shownotes

Welcome to another enlightening episode of "Healthy Mind, Healthy Life." I'm your host Avik, and today we have a truly inspiring guest who embodies the essence of resilience, self-love, and compassion – Renee Hagar-Smith.

Renee is not just a heart-centered mindful living and self-love coach; she's a beacon of strength and hope for those navigating the challenging journey of healing. Trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Reiki, Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra®, yoga, and yoga-based mindfulness, breathwork, and meditation, Renee brings a wealth of knowledge and personal experience to the table.

But her story goes even deeper. In 2021, Renee faced the unimaginable loss of her husband to suicide. However, rather than succumbing to despair, she tapped into her extensive toolkit of mindfulness practices, yoga, and self-care techniques, not only to survive but to thrive.

Today, as a coach, speaker, workshop facilitator, and writer, Renee is on a mission to help others prevent burnout and overwhelm. She guides individuals towards practical and mindful self-care, self-love, and self-compassion, helping them reconnect with their inner selves and transform their lives from mere survival to thriving.

What sets Renee apart is her commitment to destigmatizing conversations around suicide and tragic loss. As a suicide loss survivor, she speaks from a place of authenticity and vulnerability, aiming to create a space where these conversations can be held with love and compassion.

As we dive into this episode, Renee will share her personal journey, insights, and practical tips for upgrading our lives from mere survival to joy, health, and balance. Join us as we explore the power of mindfulness, self-love, and the importance of open and compassionate dialogue around difficult topics.

Without further ado, let's welcome Renee Hagar-Smith to "Healthy Mind, Healthy Life."
