We're Thinking We're Back

You know, we had to sit down and talk. It's tough with schedules and everyone's got lives, you know, Bono's got things going on. He's getting his fantasy football players for the future. Ready? So they're involved in their high school stuff right now, but you know, when we basically sat down and said, Hey guys, are we ready to do this or not?

We came up with one answer and here it is. People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now yeah, I'm thinking I'm back. We're back guys. That's right. The fantasy island crew is gonna be coming at you all season. We're gonna be breaking it down for you this year. We're gonna do a little bit different.

Last year we broke down all the divisions, all the every player we could think of, and we're gonna do a little bit different now. You guys know what to do and you guys gotta put the work in. We're just gonna touch on some key spots. We're going winners, losers, bounce backs, new faces, new places, some rookies.

We'll talk about all that pre-draft, pre-season, and then we're gonna let you guys filter all the stuff through your mocks and your fantasy drafts. We're gonna start with you on week one, just like we did last season. Bombo with some good takes to gonna be running that show. He's gonna be more in a producer role this year.

Guys, go ahead and chime in, talk about what you want for the season. I'm just glad to be back on the island. Thanks, king. Thanks to the team. Thanks to t the producer extraordinaire. I think we're gonna give the listeners a hell of a season, hell of a show. You got a lot of football knowledge coming from these guys.

This is what I always say. You we're not here to replace. All the other talking heads that you're gonna be listening to, we're just another one that you should be listening to. It's fantasy. Take as much info in as you need because you wanna be one step ahead of your league mates.

You want those bragging rights, you want that prize money. And when it comes down to it, you wanna be running ideas and getting information from people that know what they're doing. In every league, there's those guys that you ask advice from. And you know what?

I think I know a lot. These are the two guys I ask advice from. So listen to us.

Fuck that Bumbo. Those guys are donkeys. You got a lot of dudes out there that are talking heads that get paid tons of money and they whiff every single week, week in and week out. And if you go back and listen to what we put together as a crew last season, we hit more times than we whiffed. That's why for me it was a no-brainer to come back, run this thing back again with both of you guys, and let's get at it again.

I'm pumped, I'm hyped up, and I really wanna make this season just even better than last season, you guys. I. Are amazing. I love your takes. I love the different perspectives that you guys bring, and I'm just so excited to get this thing going. To be honest with you guys, you know, the new N F L season brings excitement every year, guys, and I think that that's the good thing about the N F L and is why the N F L is king.

They're free agency the way they do things. That keeps things exciting, it keeps things fresh for us. It keeps things fresh for everybody who's involved in fantasy. This year's a drastic change in fantasy and we'll be going through that and talking about that in our league and our dust ups and everything else is the way that this running back debacle is happening and they're just devaluing all these running backs.

It's showing in fantasy now, and we talked about that the last couple seasons. So we're excited to get going into the season guys, and I think for Bombo for Sweet Tea, the fantasy Island crew is ready to rock. Will be coming at you all season Strong. Get ready.
