Paul is Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce, The B Team and Vice-Chair of the U.N. Global Compact. He has almost four decades of experience in the consumer goods industry, having served in senior roles at Nestle and Procter & Gamble prior to becoming CEO of Unilever.
During his time at Unilever, the company was one of the best-performing in its sector, delivering ten years of consistent top and bottom line growth. Paul was appointed to the U.N. Secretary General’s High-level Panel that developed the Sustainable Development Goals. He has played a leading role since in highlighting the business case for the 2030 development agenda, including as a founder member of the Business & Sustainable Development Commission. He remains a U.N.appointed SDG Advocate.
As well as discussing his long and illustrious career, Paul revealed more on his commitment to #Valuable500 - the global movement pledging to put disability on the business leadership agenda. Set up by Caroline Casey, Binc founder and speaker at The Marketing Society 2018 London Braver Conference, it's a revolution of which we're proud to partner.
