Some lines shouldn’t be crossed in the name of a “big tent.” Flip on the lights and watch the vermin scatter—that’s what Epstein’s aftermath looks like as politicians scramble to rewrite their roles. I give credit where it’s due on pushing to release the files, but I draw a hard boundary: platforming someone like Marjorie Taylor Greene under a “we welcome everyone” banner is moral rot, not unity. This episode is a case study in political survival, cowardice, and why refusing to launder reputations matters.

03:00 – Political survival 101: losing favor, going scorched earth, seeking new allies.
05:00 – Fold under pressure: threats boomerang, sympathy play begins, resignation as escape hatch.

That's the situation that we're actually watching happen in real time today. When we're thinking about the post Epstein fallout,
when we're thinking about all the stuff that is surrounding Epstein, it seems like everybody has almost had an awakening. The reality of it is that all of these people that all of a sudden have decided that now is the time to expose everything that's happened around the Epstein files.
They've known about this for the better part of a decade or more. It's just become politically expedient for them to take the stand that they took and cover their ass.
ve seen from Marjorie Taylor [:
Marjorie Taylor Green has been one of the most violent. Hateful people in American politics for the better. Part of the last five to seven years she's done and said so many things. That has offended just about everybody except for the white sheet crowd, that there should be no circumstance where she is redeemed.
But what have we seen over the last number of weeks? We've seen her make appearances on the view. We've seen her stand side by side to her credit with the people that are asking for the release of the Epstein files. She was one of the leading voices from the MAGA side to get the files out and release them.
So credit to her for doing that.
But I have a massive problem when people that are not maga, when Democrats and Independents say that we have a big tent and they're making overtures to bringing Marjorie Taylor Greene back into the fold under that big tent. I'm gonna say this as plainly as possible.
at says if you sit down at a [:
Full stop.
While she has been making these overtures and while she's been trying to rehab her image, let's understand what all of this is about. This is about political survival. The reason that she went. Reservation was because Donald Trump didn't rubber stamp her hopes to run for Georgia Senate. And that pissed her off, and she decided to go scorched earth and stand toe to toe against Trump.
e is crying. And whining and [:
there has been conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory, hateful rhetoric after hateful rhetoric. This is a person that deserves no quarter and no empathy. She's somebody that said that space lasers were responsible for fires in Hawaii.
She's been the one that's been making the case that the Muslim takeover is gonna result in the United States, turning into some third world country that's ruled by Islamic fundamentalists and is going to be a hellscape that all of us need to be aware of.
She's the one that's saying that anyone that hangs a pride flag is hanging a hate America flag.
down in school shootings and [:
So whenever people from our side of the aisle say that we have a big tent and we should allow people like her in, I raise an eyebrow and I get pissed because there is no way that people like this should be allowed in our circles.
There is no middle ground when you are talking about. Not recognizing people's fundamental human rights, and she is absolutely in that crowd.
Now we can understand and we can hear her apologize for certain things, but has she apologized for her terrorizing of the gay community? Has she apologized for her terrorizing of the victims of gun violence? Has she apologized? For her terrorizing of the brown and black faces in Congress that she harassed and belittled and sicked her supporters on.
e wants us to bring her into [:
She is throwing in the towel and she's resigning like a coward. And the bottom line of all of this is that Marjorie Taylor Greene, just like everybody else that is in Republican and MAGA circles, they are nothing but thin skinned soft cowards. And when you push back and you give them a taste of their own medicine, they fold like cheap suits.
And she's doing exactly that. She is leaving her constituents out to dry because she couldn't take the heat. She couldn't take the heat of. The violent rhetoric that she had spewed for her entire time in public office, and now that she's experiencing it for herself, she's decided to throw in the towel and walk away.
wardice. That is the perfect [:
When we're thinking about the totality of what she has done and her redemption arc, we should understand it for what it is.
This is the act of a political opportunist who is trying to save her skin and find some future where she is relevant and. My advice to anybody that is hearing her, don't fall for it. Don't give her quarter. Don't invite her in because she brings nothing but darkness.
