What if our society’s devotion to speed and efficiency—not only in pace, but in thinking and behavior—is the primary culprit for the crises of today? What if hurried leadership is the cause? In the words of psychologist Carl Jung, “Hurry is not of the devil; hurry is the devil.” What does the Bible and various modern industry leaders teach about the re-emergent practice of “slowing,” and how can it transform us into the 21st century disciples for Jesus that our hurried world needs to see?
