Tara Bryan:

Hey, everybody.

2

:

Welcome to season three of The

Scalable Expert podcast, the show for

3

:

established expert business owners

who are maxed out on time and ready to

4

:

find the scalable impact of their work.

5

:

I'm your host, Tara Bryan, founder

of The Scalable Expert and creator

6

:

of the INFINITE SCALE™ Method.

7

:

If you've built a business around

your expertise but feel stuck

8

:

in the time for money trap, this

podcast is your path forward.

9

:

Each week, I'll share stories and

strategies and shifts to help you

10

:

step into a new scalable business

model by declaring your authority,

11

:

packaging your expert framework, and

streamlining your offers and systems

12

:

to ultimately become a scalable expert.

13

:

Because it's not about working

harder, it's about building smarter.

14

:

All you need is one signature expert

framework, and you can deliver an infinite

15

:

amount of ways to be able to scale your

business, your impact, and your income.

16

:

All right, let's get started.

17

:

Hey there.

18

:

Welcome to the Scalable Expert Podcast.

19

:

I am really glad that

you're here for this one.

20

:

I wanna start with something that

I've been hearing a lot of lately,

21

:

and I think if you're here, it's

probably gonna sound familiar.

22

:

There's a place a lot of

expert business owners end up.

23

:

You've built something real.

24

:

Your customers are getting results.

25

:

You're good at what you do, but

you've hit a ceiling that has

26

:

nothing to do with how good you are

or how hard you have been working.

27

:

And you've probably already

tried to push through it.

28

:

Maybe you've added a new offer,

moved into a group program, brought

29

:

on some support, raised your prices,

and something is still not moving.

30

:

That is hard to sit with

because from the outside, the

31

:

business looks completely fine.

32

:

You're busy, referrals are coming in,

and there's nothing obviously wrong.

33

:

So you keep trying things.

34

:

You keep looking for what you're missing.

35

:

And here is what I wanna offer you today.

36

:

You're probably not missing anything.

37

:

The issue is not what you've done, it

is the order in which you've done it in.

38

:

That is the whole premise of what

we're covering this month, nine steps,

39

:

three systems, and a sequence, and

the sequence is actually the strategy.

40

:

I'm gonna walk you through

all nine steps in August.

41

:

We are starting today with a full map

that I call the INFINITE SCALE Method.

42

:

First I want to draw a distinction

that changes everything.

43

:

Most expert business owners

who hit that ceiling think that

44

:

they have a growth problem.

45

:

They need more.

46

:

More customers, more offers,

more reach, more revenue.

47

:

So they go looking for growth strategies.

48

:

More to add.

49

:

Here's the distinction I want you to

hold onto for the rest of this month.

50

:

Growth increases what already exists.

51

:

Business evolution changes what the

business is capable of becoming.

52

:

Most of the advice out there for

expert business owners is growth

53

:

advice being given to people

who actually need evolution.

54

:

That distinction is what

this entire month is about.

55

:

Now, let me help you identify

exactly where you are right

56

:

now, because it changes how you

hear everything that follows.

57

:

There are three stages that

expert business owners go through.

58

:

Stage one is called the Time Seller.

59

:

This is where most of us start.

60

:

You sell your time, someone

pays, you show up and deliver.

61

:

And it works really well until your

calendar is full, because the ceiling

62

:

is built right into the model.

63

:

The only way to take on more customers

is to find more time, and at some

64

:

point, there's no more time to find.

65

:

Stage two is the Offer Stacker.

66

:

This is what happens when you try

to break through that ceiling.

67

:

You add a group program, you do

a live event, you build a course.

68

:

You start stacking offers, hoping

that one will move the needle.

69

:

And what tends to happen is more

complexity, not more capacity.

70

:

I want to be honest about this stage,

because I see a lot of accomplished

71

:

expert business owners stuck here,

thinking they're doing something wrong.

72

:

They're not.

73

:

They're just missing the sequence.

74

:

And then stage three, the Scalable Expert.

75

:

This is when the business

creates transformation beyond

76

:

your constant personal delivery.

77

:

And I want to be clear about

what that actually means.

78

:

It does not mean you

disappear from your business.

79

:

It doesn't mean that you build

something that operates without you.

80

:

The goal is not absence.

81

:

The goal is choice.

82

:

You are still the expert.

83

:

You are still in it, but you are present

where your expertise actually matters

84

:

and where you want to be, not where

the daily delivery requires you to be.

85

:

Expert presence by choice.

86

:

So take a moment right now.

87

:

Which stage are you in?

88

:

Are you a time seller, an offer

stacker, or somewhere in between?

89

:

Because wherever you are is exactly where

the INFINITE  SCALE™ Method picks up.

90

:

The INFINITE SCALE™ Method is nine

steps across three integrated systems.

91

:

The key word there is integrated.

92

:

Each system builds directly

on the one before it.

93

:

You can't skip ahead.

94

:

The sequence is actually the strategy.

95

:

Once you see the sequence, the ceiling

starts to make a whole lot more sense.

96

:

System one is called the

Expert Authority System.

97

:

This is steps one through three.

98

:

Everything in this system is about one

thing, making your expertise tangible.

99

:

Right now, your methodology

lives inside your head.

100

:

It's in your instincts, your

patterns, and the way you read a

101

:

customer and adapt in real time.

102

:

That expertise is real, and

it's completely invisible

103

:

to anyone who is not you.

104

:

The expert authority system extracts

it, names it, gives it a shape that

105

:

exists outside of you, something a

customer can see before they invest.

106

:

Something the business can

lead with consistently.

107

:

Something that can be eventually be

delivered beyond your personal presence.

108

:

The power of one decision, one

customer, one core problem,

109

:

one signature methodology, and

that the business leads with.

110

:

Making your expertise tangible,

turning what's in your head into

111

:

something physical and structured.

112

:

And then how do you develop a magnetic

expert position in the market?

113

:

System two, the Scalable Delivery System.

114

:

This is steps four through six.

115

:

This is where the business

model actually starts to change.

116

:

Once your methodology is tangible, and

you have designed a customer journey,

117

:

the work of system two is to build

delivery infrastructure that lets your

118

:

pathway create results without requiring

your constant personal involvement.

119

:

Not because you're gone, because the

design carries the work that you used

120

:

to fill in manually in real time.

121

:

So in these three steps, you

have this signature pathway.

122

:

This is designing the complete

customer journey before a single

123

:

piece of delivery has been created.

124

:

The beta blueprint, providing

the journey to real customers to

125

:

test before you build anything.

126

:

Then scalable engagement.

127

:

This is how you engage people in a way

that lets the system carry the weight.

128

:

System number three is the

Infinite Impact System.

129

:

This is step seven through nine.

130

:

This is what becomes possible when

systems one and two are working.

131

:

This is when your methodology

starts to extend beyond what

132

:

you can personally deliver.

133

:

Books, certification programs, licensed

methodology, other practitioners

134

:

trained to deliver your signature

pathway, partnerships built

135

:

around your intellectual property.

136

:

You are impacting at a reach

that your calendar can't produce.

137

:

And here's what I want you to hold on to.

138

:

That is not a different kind of business.

139

:

It is just the next stage of the

business you are already building.

140

:

Every business that has reached

this stage has gone through system

141

:

one and system two first, in order.

142

:

That's the map.

143

:

Nine steps, three systems, one sequence.

144

:

That's the infinite scale system.

145

:

For the rest of August, we're gonna go

deep into each system and each step.

146

:

But I want you to have the

full picture before we start,

147

:

because context is everything.

148

:

So let me make this real

for you with an example.

149

:

When I first started working with

one of my customers, she was doing a

150

:

hundred percent one-on-one coaching,

and she was really good at it.

151

:

Her customers got results.

152

:

She had a full calendar and a wait list,

and she was completely at capacity.

153

:

So she did what everyone

around her was recommending.

154

:

She moved into a group model.

155

:

She built a group program, added it

alongside of her one-on-one work,

156

:

and here's what actually happened.

157

:

The group program did not actually

release her from her calendar

158

:

because the customers in the

group still wanted her personally.

159

:

They had invested because

of her specifically.

160

:

So she ended up with group sessions

added on top of the one-on-one

161

:

sessions she was already running So

she had to add more to her calendar,

162

:

and so she reached the same ceiling.

163

:

So she kept going.

164

:

She added live events.

165

:

She added additional delivery

formats, more offers.

166

:

By the time we started working

together, she had a completely full

167

:

calendar, significant complexity in

her business, and margins that were

168

:

not where they needed to be because

she had so many different things to

169

:

fill and fulfill at the same time.

170

:

This is classic offer stacking, and it was

exhausting her in a way that had nothing

171

:

to do with how hard she was working.

172

:

What we did was to go back to system one.

173

:

We simplified down to one signature

methodology, one clear pathway, one

174

:

customer, one problem, and one result,

something she could deliver consistently

175

:

and something another capable person

could eventually deliver on her behalf.

176

:

We created scalable delivery

infrastructure, designed the

177

:

customer journey, ran a small beta

to get it started, and then built

178

:

the scalable program that created

the same transformation she was

179

:

creating when she was working with

her one-on-one clients without

180

:

requiring her to be in every session.

181

:

Once that was proven, we moved into

building a certification program where

182

:

other practitioners trained in her

methodology could deliver her signature

183

:

pathway to their own customers.

184

:

She went from one person delivering

transformation one customer at a

185

:

time to her methodology creating

impact she never could have

186

:

reached with her personal calendar.

187

:

And that's the arc.

188

:

That is a sequence in practice.

189

:

And it started not with adding

more, but with going back to system

190

:

one and doing the steps in order.

191

:

So before I let you go, I

wanna leave you with this.

192

:

If everything in your business still runs

through you, if you are the reason it

193

:

works and the reason it doesn't work and

can't grow, that's not a hustle problem.

194

:

It's a structural one, and it has a name.

195

:

The fastest way to see yours is

to take the free expert audit.

196

:

Ten questions, about three minutes total.

197

:

It will show you where you are, what

stage you're in, and how you can start

198

:

shifting your business and working

through the three different systems.

199

:

Because what's gonna happen is once

you know that, then the rest of this

200

:

month where we're talking about each

of the systems and each of the steps

201

:

will help you actually pinpoint in your

own business what you need to change.

202

:

So if this resonated with you today,

I would love it if you would share

203

:

it with your friends and colleagues,

and don't forget to subscribe, so

204

:

you don't miss a single episode.

205

:

All right, we'll see you next week.
