Shownotes

Growing up I wanted so badly for my father to say I believe in you, you can do it or you've got this. Anything positive would have been fantastic. I kept waiting even into my 20s and 30s. I finally realized he wasn't in a place to be able to offer those words or that encouragement. It was something I needed to release for myself - to start taking action and begin living my life.

My friend, many of us are waiting, hoping for that tap on the shoulder by an older man, to call us into our manhood, recognize us as being a worthy man and direct us into a life of fulfillment. Stop waiting and start living - give yourself the permission to be the man you've desired to be for so long. Now is your time!

And. Not to, you know, look for that person. Yes. That is something that we can look for people to bring around in our community. But it's up to us to say, I'm done. I'm going to start living today now, and then to start taking actions in that direction, because you are enough, you do matter. People do care when we get in our own head.

And you are worthy. And so what I want to encourage you to do is to look at yourself as that worthy man, as the fact that you do matter, that you are significant. If nobody's called you out and said those things to you hear me now, I'm saying them to you specifically and directly. You, my friend matter, you are worthy.

The Knight would, would raise up the Squire and help him elevate and, and raise up and, and move on to, to a different role. And that's not done today. And so lots of us will wander around going, okay, great. You know, Uh, I don't feel like I've passed, you know, any kind of age of manhood I've gone. And, um, I've gone through 18.

I've gone through 21. I've gone through 25 and now I'm a husband and a dad, and I'm still not feeling whether I'm actually a man. It's not an age thing. Okay. It is something that we internally allow ourselves to feel and move through. And you have that. If you will allow yourself, I was waiting for somebody.

We are going to stumble. We're going to fall. The choice of getting back up is up to us. I want to encourage you, whether you're you're down on the ground to get up. If you're up to start walking, if you're walking, start running, move yourself from where you're at forward, because I know you can do it. I believe in you.

The same stuff is available to you. What do you want? You know, that kind of stuff that is there. You keep wanting to be something more it's there. You just have to say, I can go there and start moving. You may not know the whole path. You may not fully have faith that you can, but unless you start moving, it's not going to happen.

Okay. So I would, I would encourage you stop with. Start living because the longer we wait, the more that that becomes comfortable and the act of moving becomes more challenging. It's just like going to the gym. When I go to the gym, you know, if I've waited nine months, it's going to hurt. And if you've gone through anything like that, I'm sure you can, you can relate.

So again, I want to encourage you. Stop waiting. The time is now. If you meet encouragement, if you have questions, reach out, the best way is to go to hicoachmike.com and schedule a time let's talk and see where you want to go and where you're at.

And let's get those hurdles out of the way, because. The imaginary roadblocks that we create, that we put in our own way are the things that are keeping us there. And it's much like the elephant that's been trained over time to be kept by a rope, to a steak when they have more strength and could just break free.

So I look forward to talking with you soon. Have a great one. My friend, bye.
