We’re living through a moment that many people can feel, but few can explain.
The world is shifting. Technology is accelerating. Old systems are cracking. And beneath it all, there’s a quiet question rising in the collective: What does it mean to be human now?
In Episode #110 of Beyond The Pills, Josh Rimany sits down with Oscar Di Montigny, founder of the Grateful Foundation, to explore the deeper layers of this global transition—through the lenses of consciousness, economy, healing, ethics, and human responsibility.
Oscar brings decades of experience from the worlds of finance, insurance, and executive leadership, paired with a rare ability to bridge science and spirituality, logic and intuition, innovation and soul. Together, they unpack why so many people feel disoriented today—and why that discomfort may actually be an invitation.
“Humans are not made for answers. Humans are made for questions.”
This conversation moves beyond fear-based narratives about AI, disruption, and uncertainty and reframes the moment we’re in as a call for orientation over speed, meaning over information, and gratitude as a stabilizing force in an increasingly complex world.
“It’s not a matter of how fast we’re moving—it’s a matter of whether we know where we’re going.”
You’ll hear why:
“People may forget what we say and what we do—but they will never forget how we made them feel.”
If you’ve been sensing that something is changing—in healthcare, leadership, work, or life—this episode will help you name it, ground yourself in it, and move forward with clarity rather than fear.
This isn’t just a conversation. It’s an orientation.

Josh: [:Join me and other practitioners as we guide you towards vibrant health, body, mind, and spirit, and move beyond symptom management into true healing. Welcome back to Beyond The Pills. I'm your host, Josh Rimini, pharmacist Turned Healer, and today we have a special guest, uh, Oscar d Monte. If I've said that very close.
ay. We're gonna go deep into [:New age and we're moving towards this. We have the same ideals and the philosophies of how we think human evolution is working. So I'm just gonna start and jump right in. Welcome to the show, Oscar.
Oscar: Thank you Josh. I'm very pleased to be here from the other side of the ocean. I'm in Italy
Josh: and it is on my top list, so now I get to help.
love Yeah, you have a home. [:Oscar: Okay. Long story short, I'm a 56 years old guy and, uh, father of 5 28, 26, 23. 18 and 16, just to say that if we might talk about next generation, at least, uh, I can put my 50 cents on the table. You know, based on good, my personal experience and, uh, for many years I've been working, uh, actually 35 years of work, 10 years in the tourism market, but the last almost 25 years in one of the biggest, uh, banking and insurance group of the country.
vel, and then at the end, an [: uh, as we said before, since: o it was a kind of hard as a [:So, not anymore, a distance, a wall in between the personal life, the inner life, and the outer life, the professional life. So after a long while, um, spent to take decision as a decision maker in the company, as an investor, as an entrepreneur, as a manager, I specialized based on my philosophical studies.
t, but I try to combine, uh, [: So I remember in: ime with him, I asked him if [:Hmm. So, to me, talking about future. Is in term of capability and sensitivity to the stars, you know, to find a path in orientation like the sailors in, in the ancient times. You know, today there's a sky with many new stars, and I think that in the future, the difference will be made by the capability and the sensitivity.
is to go back to the origin [:Ask many times to travel the world, to go and give talks, speeches, keynote speeches at big events, uh, private, uh, public, uh, to offer my you on the big scenarios that are going to show up, you know, at the origin. Because as we said, when we met, um, the Epic, you, you said that. The word age, you know, a few minutes ago.
We are gonna enter totally a [:Something very, very much new, so we must be prepared.
Josh: Yeah, and I think that's what, whether you're a conscious explorer and you've sensed and feel that visceralness or you're just a normal human being that's plugged into this particular reality, we all understand that something's brewing, something's bigger is happening.
e very interplanetary, inner [:However, I'm super excited of Gavin. However, there's an and to everything and. These aren't small shifts in humanity, like you said, it's like how can we even comprehend living day to day and also understand that we're in a cycle of civilization, humanity. Like some would say the Hopi Indians said this is a 10, 11,000 year cycle.
this stuff together in ways [:Power fight, flight struggle, like we're moving and ascending beyond that. And there's a way and manner you think and have, have realized that deeper feeling and knowledge base give people a little bit of insight on your thoughts on that.
Oscar: Thanks for asking and as I said, um,
is, something is going to be [:You know, machines, ai, robots, systems. So what is going to be left, you know, in our hands? Uh, also because all these systems are going to provide answers, solutions, uh, efficiency, you know, speed. Profit margins, but humans are not for this. Humans are not for answers. Humans are for questions because any good question is going to provide not an answer, but the bigger question, you know?
ng. If you're not searching, [:Thinking that that will be the most you could get. Now, in terms of what richness, followers, uh, fame, what so. I think that we're gonna face an age and we are going to cross the bridge, and most of us,
we're not the one to cross the bridge. Okay? Because wherever you feel, wherever you are, whatever you do. Anyway, that's your comfort zone, so it's fine. You might be poor, you might be sick, you might be short, you might be fat. Fine just to be in the cliche, you know of the narrative, but at least you know it.
ave to enter the future, and [:Okay? What will mean to be human tomorrow? And, uh, we will need to be good thinkers, good philosophers in order to search. What is gonna be the new way of what is gonna be well tomorrow? What is gonna be useful? And that's the discipline of thinkers and the philosopher and talking about artists. What is gonna be beautiful tomorrow?
, in building sacred places. [:If you go today in modern places, you won't be able to distinguish a church from a pub, you know, and a gas station from a supermarket. Okay? Why? Where is that sensitivity, you know, that we have been able to produce centuries ago? And then again, what is true? Because if you talk about science, the science is not inventing, at least it's discovering.
a new perspective, you know, [:Are we gonna be ready to face all this news? So what is gonna be beauty? What is gonna be. Well, what is gonna be true tomorrow? And basically what has been is gonna be good tomorrow. Talking about economy, we should wonder in the future what is gonna be really good. So one of the main trend of the future will be ethics, values, behaviors, not morality.
of, um, orientation. And not [:We just realized as humanity, thank to this very new science that it, it could be, I'm sure we are, but let's say it could be that we are all interconnected. Okay? In a quantum field where everything is interconnected with everything, even not just actions. Thoughts, emotions, ideas, uh, provocations. So how it's gonna be this brave new world, you know, as, uh, people like George Orwell or Aldus actually used to say few years ago.
to change to junk, you know, [:And. This might not be useful for someone else. So it's gonna be a great time for humanity. It's gonna be an unexpected time to be, to be humans. Okay. And as the Hopi civilization, just because you named that before. They already said that they predicted this, they knew this was happening. I predicted, and because
Josh: everything's connected, so they were connected to the spirit and the universe then where there is no past, present, or future.
[:Oscar: studies say that we already faced this situation already few times in the past. Yeah, for sure. Someone said this is gonna be the fourth, probably the fifth chance that we were given. All the times we didn't make
Josh: it, you know? Well, that's the part I want you to talk about because there is that space of like the awakening and then the, the choice we make as a civilization.
you wanna say is like, it is [:We, we, we, we have the opportunity is what you're saying now without scaring people down the path of destruction. Because I think a lot of people are fearful, especially, and, and I think they're focusing on AI and there we have more information in this world than we could ever ask for. And. There is no new information.
It's all been there before. It's just connected. We are connected. I think there's a lot of people that understand this because of that new left brain, right brain wisdom and science. The, the, the spirituality and the science are sort of like this. Now. You can, there are lenses in which to talk about it and have those equations.
are, what are your thoughts?[:Oscar: I don't know. I don't, um, that's a good question. And another question could be, why me?
Josh: Right? We don't need to answer them. We can ask question, you know, uh,
Oscar: rather than asking ourselves. What am I gonna do? What am I supposed to do? What's the right choice? What am I gonna do tomorrow? Right or left up or down?
Could be interesting. More interesting to ask ourselves, what do I have to learn from this moment? Okay, what's the teaching? What's the knowledge I need to get? Okay? Because I think that humans. On a collective scale, as on a individual scale, we're not facing anything. Nothing that we cannot understand.
here must be a reason beyond [: r us. So instead of feeling. [:I mean, if we switch on the television and we look at what is happening, you know, uh, trying to find a way to read the events, okay. To understand why all these big stuffs are happening, and. We won't find a solution. Okay. And then it depends on the narrative and then it depends on the channel, and then it depends on the president.
good example to look at now [:I mean, it's obvious that the way they are providing us, the level they want us, they, they want to keep us on, you know, to, to try to understand what is happening. It's not level because there are not answers to explain what is happening, you know, and whatever you think, whatever you believe, whatever is your dogma.
Let me tell you, I'm sure it is not gonna be enough to explain what is really happening. It's not gonna be, you know, the total solution. It's the same for politics, religion. So in this time is the time to go beyond the dogma, the main frame that we have been provided, provided for centuries. So, I dunno what we are gonna find beyond, but as we said before when we were having a chat, you know, it's like, am I going to climb?
lk the door. Do you wanna go [: ity is because your soul can [:Josh: It's ready.
Oscar: It's ready. You don't have to. Yeah, you don't have to retire. Uh, to be a monk, to be a, you know, there's no time anymore. I've been traveling India, I was telling you, I went to Himalayas for two months, just tracking myself and I mean, I've been in many places and all the time the wiser world was the people that I was meeting the, the deeper I was going.
The answers were simpler and simpler and simpler, you know, so it's not anymore this time, the time to retire, this is the time to be out there, you know, to play your role as a manager, as a pharmacist, whoever you are as a father, don't think that you not enough, because since we're all interconnected, wherever you are, you can make the difference from.
The totality, you know, [:And then it's time for responsibility. The ability to give responses, responsibility, ability to give responses. Life is asking us new questions. We must response, and the new abilities is not the way you will work with AI rather than robotics rather than, those are just tools. Tools. Tools. Tools. The system doesn't want us to take responsibility on our lives.
's impossible. You know? Big [:to be, to make the difference. So
you can. It's not, you can,
mation only and getting into [:Like I, I've always believed that too is like. These tools we have are just getting smarter and faster for us to become more human. 'cause what is leftover, like you said, they're already doing the stats of like all the professions that are gonna be obsolete in the next like short period of time, right?
Not even 10 years, like two years maybe. Yeah. I don't know. Who knows? Like there's an unknown just to AI and it's exponential,
Oscar: but much faster than you think.
Josh: Always right. It's like that. But that's part of what we're talking about here, is humanity. We're almost, we're time jumping. Like we're, we're, we're, we're jumping, not moving in a linear fashion anymore.
rebirth. This age that we're [:And it doesn't mean, or no, you're, I've been saying that a lot with medicine and how we merge ancient wisdom and modern science, and you and spirituality meets science. 'cause science is just. Explains the mystical in a new way that we didn't know. Like you said, we just uncover new things. That's why I'm so excited for the future because the, you know, we, we we're moving towards an age where being less sick is very different conversation than being healed and healing our body, our mind, and our spirit, and moving into this age because.
f that consciousness of sick [:They've been measuring. The wavelengths of emotion for so long. It's everything above love. Everything above courage gets us to the place where we become less matter. We become more into the, the energies of the world and we go and travel beyond. And I think that's overwhelming for people. So what is your, what is your.
Message to people.
Oscar: My message is that to
bout feeding their family or [:Oscar: We must bring. Whatever you just said into the ordinary world. Okay. Because for centuries, what you said has been, uh, uh, sorry, let me put the, the energy, because otherwise the connection is gonna fall. Sorry.
Josh: Uh, that's happened before on this show where we talk about big things, but all of a sudden. So let's go out.
he, the internet has wiggled [:So it is kinda real. And it's funny that you did the way you did 'cause it goes, it goes in from energy into this existence. Yeah. So continue.
Oscar: I think that crossing that bridge that we talk about is bringing this kind of conversations that sound, at least based on our generation and our experience. And we know that for many years in our life and many centuries in the past, in the last centuries at least.
These kind of conversations were relegated, you know, into specific places with very knowledge. People, you know, could be a priest rather than a shaman or rather than whoever was the, the owner of the knowledge of the village rather than of the tribe. Rather than, okay,
, you know, in those places. [:A party. Uh, why not in politics? Why not in economy? Why? Part of us would say, because it has nothing to do with politics, it's just a personal thought. We must keep everyone free to keep his own thoughts and emotions in his personal life. It's not the fucking way it works. Okay. Not anymore. We know now that everything is interconnected.
ompany with a salary just to [:But we talk about ai, robots and proce procedures, processes, protocols, something that has nothing to do with our. Life. I'm not saying that we mustn't we must do both. Okay. I've been working for a huge company for 25 years, so I know it was a 10,000 people company, you know, running a lot of money and then, uh, managing a lot of people.
anaging a budget of almost a [:The richest land on the planet is Africa. There's the less prosper land on the planet. Why? We've been focusing on a linear approach to economy, uh, extracting sources by the planet for centuries, thinking that we could grow linearly, you know, forever extracting sources. We can't. Yeah, we hit that peak. We know this Exactly.
tuation on a daily base, but [:That's good. That's necessary, that's urgent, but there's not enough. It's time to revitalize economy and society. That means bring back life to the center. We must rehumanizing. Bring back humans to the center. And by center I don't mean an anthropological way of thinking. You know, the humans at the top of the, the pyramid leading everything to be at the centers.
s in terms of consciousness, [:We are very much impactful. We are the only species able to elect one Oscar di Monini. That pushing a button could destroy the entire system. Just one of us. No other species can name one with that capability. On the other side, it could be a Josh Ramini finding a solution for the entire system. No other piece can do the same.
So why don't we bring these [:Sustainable finance. Okay. And I was impressed because, you know, when you use an objective, it's something that you need. To explain something more about the world. Okay. You have the blue, uh, you have the green wall. I have a white wall. Okay. By white and green. We are specifying something about our walls behind us.
That's fine. [:Okay. Protection, you know, and so on. So that day when we started talking on a, a global scale, on a worst case of ethical finance and sustainable finance, I said, wow, this is the fucking hand. We reached the point. I need to say that I do Fi ethic finance to explain the way I do things. So when I don't specify that this is an ethical offer to the market, what am I?
I'm a [:Josh: Regener, it's, it's the energy, you
Oscar: know?
Josh: Yeah. Because
Oscar: anything, no, you not, you need to go to the ab. People in Australia, or the Maori in New Zealand or in the natives, uh, people in the Latin America to explain them what's a sustainable life and what is not.
ability to invent robots and [:You know, reading the, to read the stars, to talk with natural, to stay in contact with other beings. So this is the time where we can finally do that, you know? Yeah. We love to go back to the forest, you know, to find our soul and origin. Not anymore, we must say in our city, in our company, in our streets, in our subways, you know, on, on our buses, in our schools, in our houses, that my looks so far from being balanced and welcoming based on what we just said in the last minute.
my heart, in my mind, in my [:Yeah. Also making money, also making followers also, you know, become, becoming famous. So what's wrong with that? Nothing. People will forget us, Josh. People will forget what we said. People will forget what we did. People will never forget how we made them feel. And why? Grateful Foundation, because we must feel grateful to life and to others.
ds. That's not enough to be, [:Because otherwise we'll be forgotten. All of us will go back to the origin and forgotten unless we'll live a sign behind us. We will live a sign beyond, and I wanna do that as an entrepreneur, as an investor, as a manager, yes, as a common guy, living a common life, but on a much higher level and much deeper beyond, to me means higher and deeper.
Okay.
Josh: I
Oscar: love
Josh: that. [:Oscar: not to you.
But such being a hub on a restaurant, you know, with people listening to
Josh: us, they
Oscar: would say,
Josh: what the fucking hell is saying? I mean, I know and I wanna, I wanna plant this seed of hope because. W what li like attracts, like we know this in quantum theories and and quantum entanglement, but I'm literally in entrepreneur groups 'cause I'm an entrepreneur.
I believe in the health and [:There's no, and the science explains that to them. I love that you brought up that the ancients don't need to keep the secrets anymore because the shamans are imparting this wisdom that they knew for thousands of years into our modern society now. That's why I love post tribal shamanism. It's so fun for me.
But that wisdom is, can we put spirit and soul in healthcare? Can we put spirit and soul and consciousness in the economy, in the financial equation? One of my very good friends puts gene keys and human design into certified financial planning. She puts the spirit and soul into it.
you're listening to, Josh, I [:Can we, can we, can we, while you are wondering, tell me, is there anything better than this? Nicer than this? More interesting than thinking how to bring soul back to life. Tell me what is most, is there anything more interesting than bringing back, soul, life, humanity, to the center of our ordinary life?
What's better than this? We, which is another good reason to live for rather than that wisdom. There is nothing, you know, there is nothing. And whoever could be listening to us, having the chance to stay there, put in a corner, and being asked few times, what's the reason why? What's your purpose? What's beyond?
What's beyond? What's beyond [: trust? Who are you are going [:If you don't find an answer, that's the best condition where you could put yourself because there isn't an answer. Rather than going beyond and beyond that questions, you won't find the news, you won't find Biden rather than Trump, uh, Ukraine rather than Russia, uh, Israel rather than Palestine. There's something beyond.
The lecture and the reading we can do of these stars is not going to be provided rather than just by ourselves. Okay. And the the reason why all this stuff is happening at the same time in an epoch where we cannot anything, because in the past we couldn't know anything about what was happening. You know?
. World War I, world War ii, [:So the fact is not what is happening, who is right, who's wrong? Who is good, who's bad. The fact is, what do I have to learn by this confusion? Why am I took all the time in the condition to choose a part? Am I stay pro or against? Am I provax or novavax? Am I propal or noal? That's another question. Are you in peace or you're not?
Are you making a difference in the world or you're not? Then you will find the answer. Then you look back at the world and you say,
Josh: Hmm, [:Oscar: maybe death's not exactly the world where I wanna live. So in which world do I wanna live? Then play the role of the human who like to live in that kind of world, being that world.
So economy is going to change. Philosophy is going to change. Pharmacy is going to change. The health field. The health market, the health business going to change because you know well, much better than me that health is not a medicine. Health is a connection with energy, with frequencies, with soul, with purposes, the body is going to disappear.
hey wanna live hundred years.:Making a lot of money. Making what? A lot of followers. For 300 years. Really? You wanna, you want that, you think that the, the last day of 300 years, you're gonna be different. Why? What did you learn in 300 years? I tell
Josh: you. Well, yeah. It, it's, it's, it's interesting because when you get down to that soul spirit level, like you said.
the why. The beyond question [:3, 4, 5, 6 times, how can it get better than this? How can it get better than this? And then all of a sudden you get six
Oscar: times you get lost because, you know, all the questions that are provided by society are not gonna be enough. You know? So they, after five or six you say, okay, fuck. Okay, leave, leave. Why do I need to let I'm 300
Josh: when I'm gonna be, I'm, I'm eternal anyway.
If we're all connected and, and everything is infinite. 'cause energy is neither destroyed nor created. It's like. It's okay. It's okay. And at the same time, what I, what I do believe is we are divine beings living a human experience. We get to experience with these senses and these emotions and these beautiful things that some light beings don't get to experience because they've resonated.
an live and let's. Let's put [:Oscar: know? And let me go one step beyond if I, if I can, someone said. The translation in English, my English is not perfect, so please be kind.
iminating in a body to do an [:Josh: We're we're, we're
Oscar: path spiritual
Josh: beings, living a human experience, not a human. So then
Oscar: in this case, relax, take it easy, go through it. You know, go through it. Whoever you are, how good looking you are, how wealthy you are, how wealthy you are. I mean, just go through it, Lord Jesus. He already knew what was gonna happen and he went through it, Lord Buddha, he knew what was gonna happen.
He went through it. I had the chance to meet, uh, uh, the personal Secretary of Nelson Mandela. She told me, uh, many stories about Mandela. He has been in a prison for 29 years. I mean. On a four by four jail, okay? Mm-hmm. Wow. If you have a meaning, if you have a purpose, who cares? No one can put you in a jail.
ing, energetically speaking, [:So you can be king, you can be Rosa Parks, who cares? You can be Mandela, just an appetite guy. Who cares? I mean, we can, we are spiritual beings living a human life, so. Maybe I already came here some lives ago and I will come back some other lives in the future, but this doesn't make the difference in this life.
we must take responsibility [:And, uh, that's why I'm super excited and, uh, a bit scary, a bit scared because it's not gonna be easy. But I wanna play the game and I wanna win
Josh: the
Oscar: game.
Josh: And I think that's a beautiful lesson to tie this up and wrap it in a bow is like, yeah, it's not gonna be easy. But nothing, the only way forward is through the way that we do with this.
D world, in [:How do they follow you?
Oscar: Okay. Um, I'm going international, but even if at the moment I'm. More Italian and, uh, thanks for asking me. I have a blog that is going to be translated also in English and Spanish, Oscar di Monte, my name, all connected, do, uh, it and uh, my social, uh, profiles, basically LinkedIn, uh, Instagram.
I just started with TikTok and uh, Facebook. For books, actually only in Italian. And uh, well you can find if you can, uh, if you type my name, you will find a lot about me. Videos and contents and social and books. I dunno much in English at the moment, but there's some, there's a lot on the web, there's a lot on the, on the network.
osh: Well, we always like to [:Oscar: Corn. So thanks for, I can't,
Josh: I can't wait to put my family on the list. When we go to Italy and look you up,
Oscar: that's your home.
I have room. This
Josh: is my, my favorite part of these podcasts is I mute people all over the world and we become friends. So,
Oscar: Milan, center of Milan, Northern Italy. If you don't stay for months. I can guess you for a few days, you are gonna have your own room and your own bathroom. So
Josh: thank you so much my friend.
This has been an amazing conversation, enlightening and yes, very valuable in today, especially where we're at.
st, uh, for the content, but [:Josh: I, I believe so too. This is a wrap everyone. Until next time, stay well.
