Fort Wayne FC finally put an end to its four-match losing streak Saturday with a convincing 4-1 victory over Portland Hearts of Pine.

Taig Healy scored twice, Clarence Awoudor recorded his first goal and assist of the season, and newcomer Kameron Lacey scored just two minutes after entering as a substitute.

But the most interesting part of the match may have been what happened without the ball. Portland controlled 61% of possession and completed 465 passes compared with Fort Wayne's 307. Yet Fort Wayne created three big chances to Portland's one and finished with a 10-8 advantage in shots.
