We're wrapping up another week of TCA with episode 1502 as Nick Ashbourne of Sportsnet and the Blue Jays Happy Hour Podcast joins Matt Robinson.
Nick is a fellow craft beer fan so we kick things off asking him what's been on his radar around the Toronto beer scene recently. Later on talk turns to the state of MLB and whether the business can carry on in it's current form. The boys then zoom in on the Toronto Blue Jays to take a look at whether or not the pitching staff is already in trouble, who should stand in for Dalton Varsho to start the year, Vladimir Guerrero Jr's failure to stop distracting everyone with his contract demands and how big of a story that's likely to be as the summer rolls on.
Then the guys dive in to some talk about the Toronto Maple Leafs and whether they're actually any better prepared for the NHL Playoffs, the idea that Auston Matthews might be rounding back in to form, John Tavares' bounce back year, Morgan Rielly's struggles and much more.
We always enjoy our chats with Nick so make sure you check out his work to get lots more from him.
