1) Picking it up at Acts 27:7–10, As the ship struggled to make progress, it passed along various coasts. Ultimately, it found a ship heading in the direction it intended to go and switched ships. Here's a spiritual lesson that's not so spiritual: sometimes, it's okay to switch ships and board a different boat.
2) However, even changing ships doesn't always guarantee smooth sailing, and they encounter more trouble and lose time. The irony here is that they're not losing time from the divine plan but rather from their own perceptions of what the timing should be. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we truly believed that God's timing is always perfect? I know I strive for that belief.
