📢 Next Steps:
You are the cause of the misery in your own life.
Speaker A:You may not like that and you may want to yell at me or scream how come I'm stupid, but it's still true.
Speaker A:Welcome to the show.
Speaker A:Tired of the hype about living a dream.
Speaker A:It's time for truth.
Speaker A:This is the place for tools, power and real talk.
Speaker A:So you can create the life you dream and deserve.
Speaker A:Your ultimate life.
Speaker A:Subscribe, share, create.
Speaker A:You have infinite power.
Speaker A:Welcome to your ultimate life.
Speaker A:The greatest cash producing, impact creating, legacy, building asset you have or will ever have is not your program, it's not your resume, it's not even your expertise.
Speaker A:You know what it is?
Speaker A:It is your story.
Speaker A:The story of your becoming.
Speaker A:Let me tell you why.
Speaker A:First of all, you have achieved something.
Speaker A:I'm not talking about your degrees or your position or your CEO status or the company you built.
Speaker A:I'm talking about the personal thing that you are.
Speaker A:What matters most of all is who you are in the world.
Speaker A:Like how do you show up?
Speaker A:You show up like a jerk.
Speaker A:Do you show up happy, joyful?
Speaker A:Does that depend on what's going on around you?
Speaker A:Whether you made that big sale?
Speaker A:Or does it depend on just what you say, who you decide you are?
Speaker A:Here's my experience.
Speaker A:I'll be 70 in December, so I've lived 70 years.
Speaker A:Your most important asset is the energy you bring to each day.
Speaker A:It's not your money, it's not your success, it's not even your brilliant wisdom and insight.
Speaker A:So let's talk about how to mean something with that.
Speaker A:Because you can hear that and you've heard it said before.
Speaker A:And let me tell you exactly how and why my own story.
Speaker A:Okay, we'll just do a microchip.
Speaker A:You've heard some of it before, probably or not.
Speaker A:I had a successful executive career, big shot, that kind of stuff that went till I was 52.
Speaker A:I left that unhappy, unsatisfied addictions, all the failings that are legend in that sort of space.
Speaker A:And since then, for the last 18 years, I've changed into being a person of love, energy, focus lifting, building, creating.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because it draws me that that transformation from broken, depressed, suicidal, addicted to a person of energy, love and creativity.
Speaker A:That story has helped thousands, tens of thousands, millions of people.
Speaker A:Way more than I ever impacted in all those other things.
Speaker A:And it leaves me more joyful.
Speaker A:The other kind of career left me wealthy, quote, important.
Speaker A:This leaves me meaning, satisfied and joyful.
Speaker A:Every day.
Speaker A:I live that all ultimate life purpose, prosperity and joy.
Speaker A:I live there every day, no exceptions.
Speaker A:I'm not Magic.
Speaker A:I'm not special.
Speaker A:You can have that.
Speaker A:The key is your own story of becoming.
Speaker A:The choices, the resilience, the failures, the beatdowns, the standups, the moving forward, the recommitment, the declaration, the bold and clear declaration of who you are in the world.
Speaker A:That's what matters.
Speaker A:That's all that matters.
Speaker A:Everything else is going to be destined to the dustbin.
Speaker A:So let's talk about how to make that work.
Speaker A:Okay, here's what you're going to get in this episode.
Speaker A:The why and the how and the what to do next.
Speaker A:Why your story matters, how to do something with it, and what to do next to turn your life development story into impact.
Speaker A:Now, I made that bold statement about that being the most powerful thing you have.
Speaker A:And it's not true for some of you.
Speaker A:And I'll tell you who it's not true for.
Speaker A:If you're stuck in mediocrity, where you don't give a crap and you're just working for the weekend and for whatever, you can party, it's not for you.
Speaker A:It is for you.
Speaker A:If you have overcome challenges and you're still standing tall, it is for you.
Speaker A:It's not for you.
Speaker A:If you don't give a crap about helping other people, it is for you.
Speaker A:If you've gone through your own hardships and noticed, like I did, that this yearning comes up to lift and love and bless and serve.
Speaker A:Because it does.
Speaker A:So if you're sitting here thinking, I've been through all this stuff, whatever it is, from betrayal to addiction to death to illness to bankruptcies to failed relationships to personal demons to mental illness to physical illness, all that stuff, and you came out the other side and said, I will not let this defeat me.
Speaker A:I will stand, I will be, I will create, I will love, I will serve.
Speaker A:If that's you, then you are in the right place.
Speaker A:Place.
Speaker A:And that's why this thing is so powerful.
Speaker A:So let's talk about the greatest gift you have.
Speaker A:This is why here is the core promise.
Speaker A:The core promise is if you're willing to do the work to mine your developmental journey, you can impact millions and make a lot of money and be really happy.
Speaker A:Purpose, prosperity and joy.
Speaker A:You can have that.
Speaker A:It's not going to come in an Amazon box, but you can have it.
Speaker A:Your story is the bridge between your credibility and someone else's hope.
Speaker A:Hear that?
Speaker A:Your credibility is established by the truth of the choices you've made.
Speaker A:Even if you're not, you know, perfect.
Speaker A:Lots of setbacks, ups and downs.
Speaker A:Everybody's is so what?
Speaker A:And if you argue with me, all that does is delay the truth of the inevitability of your possibility.
Speaker A:Now, you can go all the way through till you're dead and not use it.
Speaker A:You're free to do that.
Speaker A:But why would you do that?
Speaker A:You're sitting here with the yearning to love and serve and bless and lift, whether it's your family or your community or millions.
Speaker A:My goal is 300 million.
Speaker A:I will reach 300 million people by 14th October this year with podcasts, with appearances, with shows, with books, with teaching, with training, and the reaching means of whipos.
Speaker A:Worth, identity, possibility, ownership, sovereignty.
Speaker A:Talking to you.
Speaker A:Unless you don't care, and then I'm not talking to you.
Speaker A:But why would you waste your divine gifts?
Speaker A:Why would you waste the experiences of your life that have refined you instead of ruined you?
Speaker A:Or even if they ruined you first, they have refined you.
Speaker A:Now, here is the place to go.
Speaker A:Right here.
Speaker A:Dream build, Write it dot com.
Speaker A:Dream Build, Write it.
Speaker A:Dream build, Write it dot com.
Speaker A:Go there right now.
Speaker A:Sign up.
Speaker A:It's free.
Speaker A:It's a book challenge.
Speaker A:But it isn't just about writing books.
Speaker A:It is about mining your story.
Speaker A:It is about doing a process called the developmental story matrix, where you go through events in your life and figure out what they taught you, why they matter so much, and how to use them to serve, which includes cash in your pocket, your bank account, and joy on your face knowing you are adding good to the world.
Speaker A:If you decide to do that, this book is the curriculum, the story arc.
Speaker A:Go get it.
Speaker A:Go get it now.
Speaker A:It will help you do something you've been avoiding or postponing or thinking didn't matter for years.
Speaker A:I have people in there right now that started in February.
Speaker A:We're just finishing their books, getting ready to publish nine new books.
Speaker A:Ooh, nine books that are gonna change the world.
Speaker A:One person said to me, I've been sitting on this for 10 years.
Speaker A:Finally, it's gonna be in the world.
Speaker A:Well, let that be you.
Speaker A:All right, so here's the point.
Speaker A:Your story, as I said, is the bridge between your own credibility, meaning what you've done and who you are, and someone else's hope.
Speaker A:I just got done talking to a woman I'd never met before.
Speaker A:Beautiful woman, has fabulous business stuff, good business, doing all kinds of cool stuff.
Speaker A:And you know what she said to me?
Speaker A:We got deep into other conversations.
Speaker A:She said, you know, we can go for some weeks without food, a little while without water, minutes even without air.
Speaker A:We can't go for one second without hope.
Speaker A:I want you to think about that.
Speaker A:Let that land.
Speaker A:We can't go for a second without hope.
Speaker A:Now, whether you argue about that physiologically or not, I don't even care.
Speaker A:It's not the point.
Speaker A:Hope is a key ingredient of our continued vibrancy.
Speaker A:Even if we stay breathing, without hope, we don't radiate anything.
Speaker A:Hope is the fuel for our energy.
Speaker A:It is the fuel for love.
Speaker A:You are a merchant of hope.
Speaker A:If you want to, you have power and possibility to give other people hope.
Speaker A:Wow, what a blessing.
Speaker A:Think about what you and me, we can do.
Speaker A:Giving hope.
Speaker A:I have a client that says I'm a hope dealer.
Speaker A:People have called her that, sort of given her the name of hope dealer.
Speaker A:So here's some common things that I hear all the time, why people undervalue this story.
Speaker A:So this is the why.
Speaker A:I'm not that special.
Speaker A:Nothing's really happened.
Speaker A:I didn't survive a massively abusive childhood or some horrific starvation thing.
Speaker A:I wasn't a prisoner.
Speaker A:So I got Jack.
Speaker A:I got nothing.
Speaker A:Well, I'm not saying you did have any of those things, but you, like everyone else, have faced challenges that for you, were hard, were heart wrenching, were difficult, were struggles.
Speaker A:And you made a decision not to let them ruin you, but to let them refine you.
Speaker A:I made a decision to let my challenges ruin me for decades.
Speaker A:By ruin I mean struggle in failed relationships, addictions, depression, self sabotage, meaning I wrecked careers and so forth.
Speaker A:Like big stuff worth millions, tens of millions of dollars, did really stupid things in that self sabotage and then got out of it and have now changed.
Speaker A:Your story may be different.
Speaker A:Here's some of the things I know, I know and have helped people with their podcasts and their books and their coaching practices and their own businesses.
Speaker A:This lady that I just talked to this morning and she said something really interesting.
Speaker A:Her business is helping businesses with operation, systems, leadership, stuff like that, and how to be more successful small startups all the way to eight figure businesses.
Speaker A:And that's what she does.
Speaker A:But you know, what she said was the most important thing that she's discovered over and over again is that businesses who have a clear mission, vision, value statement, they do better every time they have a clear commitment.
Speaker A:Besides, make cash, make cash, make cash.
Speaker A:People go to the bottom line and say cash is the only thing that matters.
Speaker A:It's not, it's not sustainable.
Speaker A:If that's your holy grail, okay, and you can get mad at me for saying that and I don't even care.
Speaker A:It's not sustainable.
Speaker A:It Will be temporary.
Speaker A:It doesn't get loyalty.
Speaker A:It doesn't provide joy.
Speaker A:It provides temporary stuff.
Speaker A:And sure, cash is fun.
Speaker A:When I had a situation where I was broken and making so much cash, I didn't know what to do with it.
Speaker A:Yeah, I had all the toys and I hated myself and, you know, drug abuse and all the rest of the.
Speaker A:There's a deeper and more powerful meaning.
Speaker A:And you know it.
Speaker A:You feel it.
Speaker A:That big cash wall.
Speaker A:That's fun.
Speaker A:And you see people driving around and bling and everywhere, and it's like.
Speaker A:And the same people die of overdoses and suicide and broken relationship after broken relationship and misery and is this all there is?
Speaker A:And that whole thing.
Speaker A:All right, so number one, people say I'm not special.
Speaker A:Well, that's not true.
Speaker A:You are not special to everyone, and neither am I.
Speaker A:But you are special to some group of people who need to hear your voice.
Speaker A:Your understanding, your particular situation will resonate with them.
Speaker A:I don't reach everybody by any stretch.
Speaker A:My stories do not resonate with some people.
Speaker A:They do with others.
Speaker A:You are the same.
Speaker A:So when you say, my story doesn't matter or I'm not special or I have jack, what you're saying is, I won't touch everybody so nobody would listen.
Speaker A:That's not true.
Speaker A:What that means is you're chicken.
Speaker A:You're afraid to mine the story and put it out there for those who need it.
Speaker A:Let's say you did this work and you helped 100 people completely change their lives because they recognized and resonated with your story and your choices, your situation, your resilience.
Speaker A:A hundred people.
Speaker A:Do you know how important that is?
Speaker A:A hundred lives changed.
Speaker A:Unbelievable.
Speaker A:So your story is important and you are that special.
Speaker A:There's no question about your uniqueness.
Speaker A:But people then say, yeah, but so what?
Speaker A:Well, so what is the key?
Speaker A:It is, so what?
Speaker A:So what?
Speaker A:You have a bunch of people you could help if you want to.
Speaker A:Now, if you're one of those people that doesn't give a crap about being of service, then this isn't for you.
Speaker A:Another thing that comes up all the time is this question.
Speaker A:Who am I to share this?
Speaker A:So I just one of my beautiful, blessed authors, I just got through leaving a voicemail earlier today.
Speaker A:A long message.
Speaker A:Text or whatever.
Speaker A:Not text.
Speaker A:I use voice memos.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:And the question that this person asked me was all about that question, who am I to share this?
Speaker A:Maybe it's not this, maybe it's not that.
Speaker A:And so my goal, my opportunity as a coach was to reassure them in spades.
Speaker A:Powerfully.
Speaker A:No equivocation.
Speaker A:You matter.
Speaker A:It matters what you've written.
Speaker A:I love.
Speaker A:And it did.
Speaker A:I was editing the book and it moved me.
Speaker A:I thought, wow, this is really cool.
Speaker A:Cool.
Speaker A:How do I remember this in my daily walk?
Speaker A:So it was coaching me.
Speaker A:What a beautiful thing I get to do, editing all these books of people who have made the courageous leap to tell their stories.
Speaker A:Another third thing I hear is, yeah, nobody's gonna care who's gonna read it.
Speaker A:Nobody cares.
Speaker A:Well, I can tell you sure, if you don't do it, nobody cares.
Speaker A:I can tell you sure, if you don't do it, nobody's gonna read it.
Speaker A:Nobody's gonna come out and cheer you, because nobody can.
Speaker A:Here's what I do.
Speaker A:Dream build.
Speaker A:Whoops, wrong hand.
Speaker A:Dream build.
Speaker A:Write it.
Speaker A:Dream build.
Speaker A:Write it.
Speaker A:I help you understand how your story matters, who it's for, for, and how to tell it in a compelling and powerful way so that you can have the difference and get paid and feel good about making an impact in the world.
Speaker A:Here's a myth that I want to bust, okay?
Speaker A:People think that celebrity is everything.
Speaker A:People think that the, you know, the crap we see on social media and on TV and everything else, that's all there is.
Speaker A:Ooh, that's the pinnacle.
Speaker A:That's Jack people buy from, they follow and are transformed by those they relate to.
Speaker A:Not those who are bragging, not those who are perfect.
Speaker A:Think about who you look up to, who you draw inspiration from.
Speaker A:Real inspiration, not envy, not, you know, negative emotion.
Speaker A:People that inspire you to move and act.
Speaker A:It's people you trust, people you see it and you relate to them.
Speaker A:You relate to their stories and situation.
Speaker A:So here is a.
Speaker A:Here is a truth.
Speaker A:I have a client who was opening a podcast, starting a podcast, and I accidentally was their first podcast guest.
Speaker A:Didn't know it till later, but because of how we spoke, that client has gone on to make world changing impacts and receive great global awards.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because they related to my story and I was able to love and encourage them.
Speaker A:And they were starting from nowhere.
Speaker A:They owned and stepped into the truth of their story and are now in the process of changing the world.
Speaker A:That could be you.
Speaker A:Now, here's an inflection point, a turning point for you.
Speaker A:Once you understand deeply that your story is the most valuable thing, most valuable asset you have, then you will understand why it matters so much.
Speaker A:You are holding a gold mine.
Speaker A:Now, if it's gold, if it was bars of gold that got delivered by Amazon or special courier, if you buy gold from whoever's Advertising on tv.
Speaker A:It comes insured in a special box.
Speaker A:And that gold enriches you.
Speaker A:And you put it in the safe deposit box or in a safe or wherever.
Speaker A:The gold you're holding with your story not only enriches you, but it enriches others.
Speaker A:It enriches you because you know then your own value and worth.
Speaker A:You love yourself more.
Speaker A:You are more confident in serving and blessing others no matter what your business is.
Speaker A:Go back to that lady I talked to this morning.
Speaker A:She isn't a, quote, life coach or any of that stuff.
Speaker A:She has worked with businesses.
Speaker A:But you know what she finds over and over again?
Speaker A:It's the stories in the head of the business owner that are keeping them stuck.
Speaker A:Not a marketing hack.
Speaker A:Not any of the stuff that you think about 100% of the time.
Speaker A:It's in your head.
Speaker A:Once you understand that that story, that life transition, the story of your becoming is the most powerful gift you have, then you realize it will enrich you and it will enrich others.
Speaker A:And when I say rich, I'm talking money as well as joy.
Speaker A:It will make you money.
Speaker A:When you offer those services, it will change the lives of people who read your stuff, and they will be more prosperous both in life and in business.
Speaker A:Life isn't separate from business.
Speaker A:Anybody that's tried to keep those separate burns down all the time.
Speaker A:All right?
Speaker A:The next thing, that's why it matters.
Speaker A:So here's how come it matters.
Speaker A:Here's how it actually changes.
Speaker A:When somebody looks at you and sees your successful, whatever degree of success you have, if you're making millions or if you're making tens of thousands, who cares?
Speaker A:They.
Speaker A:And they're somewhere else.
Speaker A:They look at you and say, wow, they're successful.
Speaker A:I wish I could have that.
Speaker A:The prominence, the money, the position, the confidence, whatever it is.
Speaker A:They look at you and they say that, don't they?
Speaker A:They look at you and they like, ah, I wish I could have be so and so.
Speaker A:Well, immediately after that, the next thing that comes out of their mouth or out of their head, conversation is, yeah, but.
Speaker A:Yeah, but.
Speaker A:Yeah, but.
Speaker A:Yeah, but I can't because, yeah, but I have no support.
Speaker A:Yeah, but I don't have the opportunity.
Speaker A:Yeah, but I don't know how.
Speaker A:Yeah, but it's good for them, but not for me.
Speaker A:And what that always reminds me of is old Elmer Fudd on Bugs Bunny.
Speaker A:Wabbit, wabbit, wabbit.
Speaker A:Everything that you say that comes after comes after.
Speaker A:Yebit is garbage.
Speaker A:Ooh, yebit, yebit.
Speaker A:Yeah, but anything that comes after that is garbage.
Speaker A:So drop Yebit and say, how can I?
Speaker A:What would it take for this?
Speaker A:How can I make this happen?
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:Here's the emotional currency of your story.
Speaker A:It shows what's possible.
Speaker A:Because when people are saying, yeah, but they can't have the success or the prominence or the influence of the money that you do, what they're doing is they're making an assumption.
Speaker A:They're assuming you had a bunch of breaks or help that they can't have access to, or that you're somehow special and they can't cut it.
Speaker A:That's what they're assuming.
Speaker A:When you tell the story of your becoming, the setbacks, the difficulties, the vulnerability, the failures, the doubts, the dark nights of the soul, when you share that, you make it available.
Speaker A:You show, I went through these different things and here's what I did.
Speaker A:I got this kind of help.
Speaker A:I did this kind of meditation work, or this kind of mindset work, or when did this kind of business work to create clients and cash or whatever it is you're showing the steps, you're giving the keys, you make it available.
Speaker A:That's emotional currency.
Speaker A:Because when they connect with that, then they think automatically, well, maybe I can.
Speaker A:It also helps people connect with the path that you're on.
Speaker A:You show you have walked the path, you have crawled over the broken glass, you have done the work, and you're showing exactly how that's powerful, that's valuable, because it makes something available they didn't have before.
Speaker A:What they had before was a bunch of people saying, you can have anything you want.
Speaker A:It's possible.
Speaker A:Well, that's garbage.
Speaker A:Without the how and without the how of the how, the direct and specific next steps.
Speaker A:There is the currency, there is the cash value.
Speaker A:And when you share the truth of your own story, it builds credibility, connection, trust, you know, know, like.
Speaker A:And trust, it builds that faster than anything in the world because people can connect with that.
Speaker A:Here's what I know.
Speaker A:A lot of people that I talk to are people who are coaching in one way or another.
Speaker A:Even this lady I talked to this morning who helps businesses with operation systems and, you know, nuts and bolts.
Speaker A:She finds, as I said, that the biggest barriers are the head barriers.
Speaker A:And so she coaches people past their stories, past their barriers, you know.
Speaker A:And I talked to another guy this morning was recording a different episode of this.
Speaker A:It was in London, a coach in London.
Speaker A:And he said, you know, he works with business owners and some high profile sports people because he came out of a sports background.
Speaker A:He said that 80%, 90% is mindset, belief that you can.
Speaker A:And when you share the story of your own choice and your own growth, you make that accessible and available.
Speaker A:Available.
Speaker A:The other thing that's so powerful about sharing the story, about how this taps so deeply, is we love stories throughout the history of the human race, our culture, our religion, our beliefs, you know, our loyalties, our patriotism, our connection to family, and everything is shared through story.
Speaker A:Think about the movies you see, the books you read, even the songs you listen to.
Speaker A:There's a story arc.
Speaker A:We are drawn in by story.
Speaker A:We remember stories more than anything in the world.
Speaker A:And so why wouldn't you use story, your story to make your impact in the world?
Speaker A:Now, one of the things that people talk about is they don't think their story is interesting or compelling.
Speaker A:So they either want to make up crap or they dismiss it entirely.
Speaker A:Your story is interesting, it's powerful.
Speaker A:Maybe you don't know how to use it that way yet.
Speaker A:Good.
Speaker A:Dream build.
Speaker A:Write it dot com, Go there.
Speaker A:I'll help you.
Speaker A:I'll help you learn your story and learn how to make it matter.
Speaker A:Okay, here's the deal.
Speaker A:If you are in the helping business of any kind, coach, consultant, Advisor, you have 16 months.
Speaker A: By Christmas of: Speaker A:You will not be able to make a living.
Speaker A:If that scares the crap out of you, good.
Speaker A:It's not hard to understand why we have been inundated.
Speaker A:Now we're being introduced and overwhelmed almost with the introduction of a sea change technology, AI.
Speaker A:Okay, ChatGPT, Gemini, all the other stuff, it is overwhelming us with expertise and skill.
Speaker A:So all the coaches that rely on frameworks, methodologies, good questions, holding space, empathetic listening, all that stuff, you're done.
Speaker A:AI writes better, faster, cheaper, more powerfully than you do ever will.
Speaker A:It's already lapping you.
Speaker A:You can argue with that.
Speaker A:I don't care.
Speaker A:I'm an author.
Speaker A:I've written 20 something books.
Speaker A:I've helped other, many others write books.
Speaker A:Here's what I know.
Speaker A:There's going to be one thing left for us who want to stay in that 5% and be those kind of coaches.
Speaker A:Your story, that's the thing.
Speaker A:AI can't bleed.
Speaker A:It can't walk the emotional road you have.
Speaker A:It can say beautiful words, it can say empowering things, a beautiful turn of phrase, all that stuff.
Speaker A:It cannot create emotional safety.
Speaker A:It cannot be the encouraging source and candle, even if it says all the right words.
Speaker A:So you either get your butt up in that 5% of your toast okay, here's the next thing I want to talk about.
Speaker A:Here's how to use this.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Here's how to share without overdoing it.
Speaker A:And oversharing.
Speaker A:Don't make it all about you.
Speaker A:You're sharing your story.
Speaker A:Yes, but we draw it in the common expression.
Speaker A:So when I talk about my transition from drug addict and making too much money and all the things that were before to a person today where I make good money, but I'm happy, joyful, and I'm in a prosperous place emotionally and financially, the key is the extension of possibility.
Speaker A:Here's what happened to me.
Speaker A:Here's what I did, here's what you can do.
Speaker A:Here's how this could work for you.
Speaker A:We have to make those connections.
Speaker A:Because if it's all about me, that won't create rapport.
Speaker A:So we have to create a method, a process to open the bridge constantly so that others who hear you can see themselves in your story.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:And there is a way to do that when you discover things, what changed for you and how to then generalize it or make it specific for the people that you're talking to.
Speaker A:And that's just learning how to tell a story.
Speaker A:That's not changing the story.
Speaker A:It is developing a skill you don't have right now.
Speaker A:You want that skill?
Speaker A:Dream buildwrite it.com.
Speaker A:the skill of telling your story so that it creates rapport and connection and trust is the key to creating both the income and the impact you want.
Speaker A:If I or you, if we tell a story and it doesn't connect with people, it's not going to have any impact.
Speaker A:People certainly aren't going to pay for products or services that come from that.
Speaker A:On the other hand, if you learn to tell your story in a way that creates connection, impact, and makes people lean in and look at you and say, can you help me do that?
Speaker A:There is your impact.
Speaker A:There is your income.
Speaker A:Because since you've walked that road, the answer is always yes.
Speaker A:Now, what I know about my own journey is that it's not a one and done.
Speaker A:It's an ongoing bunch of work that continues through today.
Speaker A:So that means today I am regularly seeking coaching, growth, learning opportunities, and I enroll in all kinds of stuff.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because my commitment is to reach 300 million this year.
Speaker A:My commitment is to change the world.
Speaker A:My commitment is to love you.
Speaker A:My commitment is to encourage you to own the truth of your divinity, capability, possibility.
Speaker A:I don't care if you work at McDonald's right now or you work on an assembly line or you're an Attorney or an accountant.
Speaker A:If you're not living in joy every day, if every day isn't the most exciting thing that you have, what are you doing?
Speaker A:You're wasting your time in your life.
Speaker A:So let's change that.
Speaker A:Because purpose, prosperity and joy is your birthright unless you reject it.
Speaker A:Your ability to make an impact and serve and bless others is your birthright unless you reject it.
Speaker A:Your ability to be well supplied and prosperous is your birthright unless you reject it.
Speaker A:You say, I would never reject that.
Speaker A:Yes, you do.
Speaker A:Yes, you are.
Speaker A:If you're not using the greatest gift you have, which is the story of your own development and becoming.
Speaker A:Here are some ways that people that I work with create big income and impact.
Speaker A:These are all ways that I teach and help and that I use in my own life.
Speaker A:Speaking.
Speaker A:I appear on hundreds and hundreds of shows, podcast stages and so forth.
Speaker A:I didn't get that magically.
Speaker A:I didn't somehow get a magic secret that got me invited.
Speaker A:I'll show you how if you want to.
Speaker A:Maybe you don't want to speak.
Speaker A:Here's another one.
Speaker A:Podcast guest appearances.
Speaker A:I'm on those all the time.
Speaker A:People regularly tell me you're the best guest I've ever had.
Speaker A:I can't believe this happened.
Speaker A:I'm not magic.
Speaker A:I have learned to use the story that I have in a way to empower the guest or empower the host and empower the audience.
Speaker A:I can teach you that.
Speaker A:Here's another thing.
Speaker A:Social media content.
Speaker A:Tons of people say to me, oh, I'd love to coach with you, but I how much does it cost?
Speaker A:What are the arrangements?
Speaker A:And oh, I can't afford that right now.
Speaker A:You know what I do, I love them.
Speaker A:I say, well, here's a book.
Speaker A:Read that.
Speaker A:Or here's a bunch of videos that I've got.
Speaker A:Go there and mine it for all that it's worth.
Speaker A:And that's one of the reasons I do this podcast.
Speaker A:One of the reasons I do so much social content is I'm trying to help everybody that wants it.
Speaker A:So being good.
Speaker A:And again, it's good storytelling is what is engaging.
Speaker A:You have books you have written, especially if you go to Dream Build write it.
Speaker A:You have programs you've created, you have stuff you already offer business services, but it's driven by passion and purpose.
Speaker A:So there's all kinds of ways that right now you can create income and impact.
Speaker A:Cash for your story was the name of this.
Speaker A:And so the version you have the ability to create impact and income.
Speaker A:Another skill that we developed for you is the Ability to alter or adjust your story based on the context.
Speaker A:You've heard people that get up, at least I have.
Speaker A:You probably have.
Speaker A:And tell the same story, exactly the same, over and over again.
Speaker A:Well, sometimes that works, but often it doesn't.
Speaker A:What's more important is to know the room, know the podcast audience, and find out ahead of time so you can tailor the details of the story to their interests and their needs.
Speaker A:That maximizes the likelihood they'll connect with you.
Speaker A:It maximizes the likelihood there'll be a cue, a line after the talk.
Speaker A:The people that want to come and talk to you and want to talk to you more.
Speaker A:Later in dream it, Build it, Write it, you'll discover all that.
Speaker A:So your story works on multiple platforms, social sales, in person conferences, that kind of thing.
Speaker A:Even casual acquaintances.
Speaker A:They'll leave you enthralled with your brilliance.
Speaker A:They'll love you because you listen to them.
Speaker A:And they'll see an affinity and connection.
Speaker A:That all drives cash for your story.
Speaker A:So here's.
Speaker A:Here's the truth.
Speaker A:I'm going to slow down because I want you to hear this.
Speaker A:Your story, properly organized and told, can make more income and impact and more joy than anything else you can do.
Speaker A:That's a fact.
Speaker A:You will argue.
Speaker A:It's still true.
Speaker A:All right, here's how to make money and serve with your story.
Speaker A:First of all, you have to get a mindset.
Speaker A:A big mindset shift.
Speaker A:Because at least many do.
Speaker A:Maybe not you.
Speaker A:Many people say to me two things.
Speaker A:One, well, all this stuff should be free.
Speaker A:All spiritual development and helping and all that should be free.
Speaker A:Nobody should charge for that.
Speaker A:Business is business.
Speaker A:That's the stupidest thing I ever heard.
Speaker A:You're free to volunteer and give away as much help as you want to, but I'll tell you what I know.
Speaker A:When I don't charge money, nobody takes action.
Speaker A:When people get free stuff, they don't do jack.
Speaker A:Now that's not universally true, but it's 99% true.
Speaker A:We have statistics on that.
Speaker A:The rate of unfinished courses, like how many millions and millions of online courses have been sold.
Speaker A:From everything to babysitting to gardening to life, you know, life coaching to mindset shifts to learning the piano.
Speaker A:90 something percent, 85 to 90% have a non completion rate.
Speaker A:Does that mean the material was garbage?
Speaker A:No, that means people don't organize their lives to act on what they hear.
Speaker A:Goes in one ear and out the other.
Speaker A:Useless.
Speaker A:You want to maximize the chances that people are changed forever by your story.
Speaker A:Cash.
Speaker A:Cash is the biggest symbol of commitment.
Speaker A:Now, some A lot of people buy stuff and they don't finish.
Speaker A:But the way you structure your story, your products and your services can maximize the likelihood that people get the benefit.
Speaker A:Cash.
Speaker A:Guess what happens when they get the benefit?
Speaker A:They buy another one and another one and your impact and ripple goes through the world.
Speaker A:You can say, I don't care, then you're not here.
Speaker A:You're in the wrong place.
Speaker A:If you want to make money and make an impact, then you're in the right place.
Speaker A:Dream build, write.
Speaker A:It is the place to go.
Speaker A:Here's what happens.
Speaker A:A service loop, okay?
Speaker A:And you can have, like I said, speaking engagements, coaching and consulting packages, online courses, books and audio programs, partnerships, sponsorships.
Speaker A:All that stuff's available.
Speaker A:All it's, all of it's available if you want it.
Speaker A:So here's the loop.
Speaker A:You use, you mine, your story, learn, come and learn how and dream build, write it.
Speaker A:You turn it into some kind of an offering.
Speaker A:Talk, product, service, coaching, something.
Speaker A:And then people get some kind of a change or result.
Speaker A:The way to maximize that possibility is create the great connection, charge money so they're invested and have a follow up so that they can talk about what it meant, what mattered and what changed for them.
Speaker A:When they get some kind of result, where do they go?
Speaker A:They come back to you.
Speaker A:You were the catalyst, you were the facilitator.
Speaker A:Two people benefit, they grew you, your impact, credibility and opportunity grows all over the place.
Speaker A:So please don't let this go one ear and out the other.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:I have people right now who turned.
Speaker A:I helped a fellow build a platform who and a product and service that he has now been running for 10 years.
Speaker A:He's made millions and it is based on his own passion, his own story, his own journey.
Speaker A:And it has had that loop.
Speaker A:People buy stuff from him, they get results, they come back and buy more.
Speaker A:They give testimonials.
Speaker A:Because why?
Speaker A:Because it works.
Speaker A:Most people get scared that if they sell something, it won't work.
Speaker A:Well, you and I can't make people do stuff.
Speaker A:We can't make people finish the program.
Speaker A:What we can do is maximize the likelihood by how we talk, how we sell the story, how we package and how we follow up.
Speaker A:And the way to maximize that is well known.
Speaker A:It's not a mystery.
Speaker A:It's well known and a well traveled path.
Speaker A:You may not know it and you may not know how to use it.
Speaker A:And if you're not, again, I invite you to come and be part of your own growth, your own changing of the world.
Speaker A:Wow.
Speaker A:You don't know what you can do until you get busy and try.
Speaker A:So here's the thing.
Speaker A:If you've been waiting for permission, this is it.
Speaker A:If you've been waiting for encouragement, this is it.
Speaker A:If you've been waiting for somebody to acknowledge you, love you and tell you you're valuable, this is it.
Speaker A:I know how to do this.
Speaker A:I'm doing it.
Speaker A:I'm helping many, many others do it.
Speaker A:Mine your story.
Speaker A:Maximize your value, create impact and live in purpose, prosperity and joy.
